Yes, I know I have bought stuff elsewhere but the majority of my herbs/vitamins and HNS have come directly from MRC. They probably see me posting on here talking about other sites to order from. So, if that's the case "HI there!".
Rocki, blow it off. There is nowhere in your contract or paperwork (at least not mine) that says you're required to purchase your multis or flax from them. The HNS, yes, but even then I don't think it says you must purchase it all from them & them alone. It's almost laughable - she won't let you spend your money there because you aren't spending enough there??? Might be a sign of their business slowing down a little, but she needs to know it'll slow down more if they start pushing the hard sell even more.

Heathren you are awesome. Congrats. You should be very proud of yourself.

Bonniemcc, Congrats on getting over the little hill and staying positive. You go girl!

I have officially completed day 14. I envy all of you seasoned girls. My wi went great, lost another 3lbs for a total of 9.5 in 14 days. Yah me! I was thrilled to see my hard work pay off. Friday I go for my first re-measure so that will be interesting. Now to the green menu...and beyond!

i did WI while i was there cuz i'm BROKE and need to save the trip even though i'd just WI in friday. *shrug* today was day 1 of my menu for me and i lost another .5 over the weekend and even had a VERY bad meal on saturday night. *i won't say what cuz i don't wanna torture anyone including myself* i guess i'll go in on thursday or something to see if it's working *shrug* that'll be day 4 and the next will be day 5 so if i think of any questions for day 5 i'll be able to ask before i start it ya know. *shrug* i was cool with it but she didn't seem real impressed

Thanks,

Connie

Look at you!! That's WONDERFUL, Bonnie!

Rocki I agree with Meemo, just ignore it. I have never heard that one before and I've been on the program almost a year now.

Okay here is something new to try. I made french toast in the waffle maker today. You can make you egg like normal (little vanilla if you like) then put your bread in waffle maker to cook it! It was very yummy and made me feel like I had a waffle.

Goodmorning fellow MRCers! I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing. I haven't been on in a while, I've been busy and blah blah blah. I'm glad to see the success on here. I've lost 29.5 lbs in 50 some days. I do feel like I'm starting to slow down now and I need to get myself kick started. Does anyone have any knowledge of jumping back to the yellow menu for a boost? Or is that unhealthy?

Congrats on the loss!

Talk about that. When you say you feel like you're slowing down, what do you mean? Are you feeling like you're hitting a plateau? Have you decreased your water? Increased anything? Cheese? Exercise? Under stress?

Hi everyone!
I'm new to this site but not the MRC Center program. I joined their program 5 years ago and loss over 96 pounds. I ended up gaining that weight and plus more back. I believe it was due to me not completing the maintenance program. I signed up again at the beginning of last year but I had a hard time staying on program and I also couldn't afford the high nutrients, flax, MRC-6 and all the others. I was on Google searching for diets to try and this site was listed. After reading a lot of the posting by the members here I was inspired to give it a try one more time. At this time I cannot afford to sign up at the center but that hasn't stopped me. I dug out all my information and menus from the center as well as all my left over products and I put myself back on program. I have been back on it for 2 weeks and lost 8 pounds. I want to thank everyone on this site for their inspirational and encouraging posts to others because it helped me also. I log onto this site everyday now because of all the great ideas. Again thanks!

I have had quite a week or two. I haven't done much in the way of exercise, because I have walking pneumonia. I am taking steroids, which should have affected my weight loss, but ironically didn't.

This morning I went to WI and I was down another 2.5 since Monday. I am one pound from signing the 60 pound board. I hope that will happen on Monday when I go in again.

I had an NSV yesterday. Everyone has been telling me that I am wearing my pants WAY TOO BIG, but I thought they looked fine. I went yesterday and bought size 20s. I was pretty excited. I still have a long way to go in terms of weight loss, but it was really encouraging. Once I had on the size 20s I realized that the 24s I wore in were absurd looking.

I see a counselor for weight loss as well and one of the things that she told me recently is that you will have an easier time getting your mind to catch up with your body if you wear clothes that fit you. It drastically changes your impression of yourself.
