Hi Angie, and everybody!
It’s good to hear that everybody’s doing well!
And spending your week off at the gym and with shopping sounds like the perfect way to spend it, Angie!
I've started my new semester and have had to rearrange my work-outs; I now get up every morning to exercise before I do anything else. Monday, Wednesday and Friday I go to the gym and lift weights (at 7 in the morning!), and Tuesday and Thursday I jog in the park.
For me, it feels good to be done with exercise early in the day; I don’t have to think about fitting it in later in the day.

hereznay, what program do you follow for weightlifting?

Hi! I haven't posted on this board in about 2 years. I have also been hovering around the same weight for about 2 years and finally feel motivated to lose and I need to lose about 60 pounds. The hardest thing for me is to exercise consistently. I was looking for an exercise thread and this seems to be an active one. I've tried to read all the posts to get familiar with everyone but there are so many! Anyway, do you all mind if I join you?

We have an eliptical trainer at home and the best thing for me is to use it in the morning before I shower for work because otherwise I make excuses why I don't have time to do it later, plus then I don't have to shower again. We also have a pool and I usually get at least 1/2 hour swim after work and more on weekends, weather permitting. We'll be closing the pool in a few weeks and then I'll have to get myself to the Y to do it. I also take yoga lessons every Saturday and try to do some during the week and throw in a few walks here and there when the weather is right.

My biggest problem is that I HATE to get up in the morning and tend to want to stay in bed until I just have enough time to get ready for work. I am trying to think about how good I will feel all day if I get that exercise in to motivate me to get up and do it.

Hello Everyone

Hope to join this thread and get serious about exercising each day. I have lost and regained the weight for the LAST TIME!! Weight Watchers did help me lose it last time, but i just cannot do the journaling, and like some of you mentioned on here, i'd like to have "regular" foods in the house--just treat them sensibly. With exercise i think i could better control my food intake. I have the gazelle machine and really like walking outside. We have this huge hill to start off my walk so that in itself is a workout. Going out in the cool windy weather next to do my walk.
Saw that Suzanne posted an offer for 3 free visits to a curves with the purchase of 3 Kraft products. Anyone use curves? And would it be a good place to go?

I need to lose about 25# again, and i'm in my late 40's. Time to get real and get my health in better shape. This seems like a good thread to get a boost
to continue with daily exercise.
Thanks for this thread, Girlie. I will try to post daily also.

Hello all~~ Moved my butt big time today. Also ate very little, so all is well. Can't post for a few days while we take in a concert and visit 2 of my sisters. I will strive to keep food regulated. Not too many goodies i hope!
Keep up the exercise chicks~~ we can do this together!
