37 min on the wt. bench this AM, I can feel it tonight, feels kinda' good. I need to figure out how to do flys w/o hurting my L shoulder. I can't reach the grips to do them with my forearms and if I use my hands I think my form may be wrong.

  • Yesterday- 30 min Taebo and 40 minutes circuit training.
    Today- 40 minutes cardio.

I read somewhere that if you have troubles with the flys that you should substitute with kick backs. (Usually back problems but in this article it didn't specify)
  • hi gabwill & hereznay,
Thanks for the input! I think I might be increasing the wt. too fast. I'll try dumbells and see if that hurts. Well,my BIG effort for the day was approx 10 min of a 45 min yoga tape, the downward dog kinda' bit me...oh well, this is an all new thing for me. I'm using the yoga to de-stress after work. 10 min today, who knows maybe 12 min. tomorrow. Thanks for letting me play :-) see ya tomorrow

made it thru the first set of lunges/twists on yoga tape..tomorrow the standing up stuff, downward facing dog makes my arms just plain shake after while

  • Some advice needed
I have a really hard time exercising. I just can not motivate myself my to do it. Are there any tips that anyone has to help motivate. I am also really self concious about being around others when I work out. I have a free 24 hour fitness center here where I live and I would like to start using it. I am one of the types of people who gain weight all over so I was also wondering if I could get some tips on what will work for those "problem" and hard to get areas, like innerthighs, underarm giggle, and a good way to tone abs and get rid of love handles. Since I have been losing weight my tummy is getting flatter but the love handles are just not going anywhere. I have a pilates and a yoga video also.

Any tips would be so great!

    Thanks so much!

    Tye
