Hi Angie and everybody!
I'm sorry you're not loosing any weight Angie. Those plateaus can really be a b***!!!
And you shouldn't give up. Just remember how far you've come the last 6 months, how much weight you've lost - and that plateaus are completely normal and they'll end!

I haven't been following my exercising plan this weekend because my mother is visiting - but I'm not stressing over it. She'll leave on Wednesday, and then I'll be back in my routine again.

How nice that people are noticing that you've lost weight! That must be motivating??

KWIM We are just starting week 3 of a 6 week program. I only hope that by the end of the program I will have the motovatin to get back on my treadmill.

Way to go Janine! (- but what is a "poser outage"?)

I jogged yesterday morning - it's really nice in the park when the sun shines and the birds sing, but a treadmill would be nice for the winter months I think!
Have you used your much?

Lifting weights for me today. My mother leaves today, and I'll be back on plan with my eating and exercising tomorrow.
Have a nice day everybody!

Should have said power outage.
I used to use my treadmill at least 3 days a week for up to 45 minutes a day but I hurt my back and it killed me to even walk so I stopped and never got the motovation back to get on. I am really of myself for that but I hope that swimming through these weeks in the summer will help me get back on track come fall.

Hi Janine and Angie
I’m back to normal again today. Started the day with jogging, after lifting weights yesterday, but I was a bit sluggish this morning.

Hope the swimming gives you your motivation back Janine: walking and jogging really is very good exercise. I like it a lot too.

And I agree with you Angie, I’m building up my courage to start swimming again too. I have never been very brave about showing my body in public, and haven’t been swimming for almost ten years. But it’s something I want to do again.
You’re really doing well with your workouts – good luck on getting weight off this week.

Have a nice Thursday!

Swam again today. Spent about 1 hour in the water. I really didn't want to as I was tired but I forced myself. After I got in I knew I would feel better and I did! So that's 4 days in the row now. Feel good about that at I promised myself I would get in at least 3 days a week. I plan on getting in again tomorrow as well! When we came home from swim I read the mail and papers then went out and cut some grass in front. Got the main part done and had to quit. It's so darn hot out there and I was so parched. Came in and grabbed a bottle of water and downed that in about 10 minutes. I am now working on my second bottle. I also turned on the ceiling fan. It's times like this that I wished we had central AC.

YIKES, haven't posted here in awhile. A true sign of falling off. Back in the saddle again.

Today: 1 hour 5 minutes walking.

Hi there! Um this is my first post in this thread but I guess I can share anyway! It's good to be kept accountable. I'm so glad this thread is here!

I don't really have a set routine, although I know I should, but I do exercise atleast 30 minutes a day (those are days when I really don't have the time...) I usually do a few hours a day spread throughout the day doing different things to keep it interesting.

Yesterday I did:
Figuretics
Fat Burning Workout Video
Dance Aerobics Video
Swimming
Trampoline

Today has been one of those slow days though....I was up late last night, and as soon as I got home from church this morning I went back to sleep, lol. So today I've done:
Muscle Toning Video
Crunches
And about 4 different kinds of leg lift thingies (don't know what they're called)

I'll probably do my dance aerobics video later tonight too though, because it is fun

I always used to hate to exercise...But now I love it! It's such a great way to let off steam! Plus of course it just makes me feel better physically....And of course I like my clothes fitting looser!

But yea, there ya have it!

Hi guys - sounds like you're all doing just great!

Janine - you're really doing great with your swimming! You must be getting really strong too: swimming for an entire hour! Good for you!

Angie - congratulations on loosing again! You are really an inspiration: working so hard and never giving up!

hereznay - hi! and welcome back! It's always good to have people getting back on the saddle and telling us about it!

atrae - welcome!!
Nice to have you here! Being kept accountable is exactly why posting here is a good thing for me too. And great that you feel better and enjoy your exercising!

I have been on plan most of last week - with jogging and weight-lifting. Went hiking for 3 hours on Saturday (and have really, really stiff and sore calves today!) - a wonderful walk. Sunday I did yoga, which I really should do more often - most of my muscles feel stiff and inflexible.
I think this will be the last week I follow my "Summer plan" - I'm planning on joining a gym next week. But for this week the plan is: weight lifting Mon/Wed/Fri, jogging Tue/Thu.

See you all later!

Thanks for the welcome, Mette

Today I did 2 Denise Austin workout videos (to tell you the truth she kind of freaks me out...."can you smell that?? we're burning FAT!") But hey its exercise. I am going to go swimming (in my backyard, woo) later on, and do my dance aerobics before I go to bed. I always try to fit in miscellaneous crunches and leg lifts so I suppose I'll be doing some more of those too
