Welcome Pipplater! Glad you feel confident to join us.
It does make a difference to me if I do PP day and PV evening - those weeks are the ones where I have lost less weight. It might work for you though - try it and see!
Do continue with the oat bran or you will get a "problem"!

Nice of you to join in Pipplater! I also recommend using oat bran everyday.

So I’ve been wanting chicken salad for a while and I’ve attempted to make a Dukan approved version of it.

I boil 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs, chop them up add ¾ cup nonfat plain yogurt then add two tablespoons sweet salad cubes. (I used a splenda version of sweet cubes made by mt.olive) Then top it of with celery seed.
I might try adding 2 boiled eggs to the mix. Thought I’d share with ya’ll incase we got some chicken salad lovers on here.
I hope everyone has a good weekend, keep on Dukaning!

I am on day 6 of Cruise and I really stalled after the 8lbs attack weight loss, dont get me wrong, I cheated with cookies on 2 occasion but i thought I should have lost more weight.

One thing Dukan has taught me is will-power, we had cupcakes at work and I did not have a single bite.... woohoo me. So all the hard work finally paid off and I have a total of 11lbs since Jan 3. I don't expect to always have huge results but I would love to lose 5lbs by end of the month. I think that once I get to 220, I can convince myself that it was not all just "water weight". Have a great weekend everyone and keep dukanning it out!

Default Back to dukaning!!

Hello ladies,
I have been on a halt from dukaning for quiet sometime now for medical reasons. But now that I got the good to go, I would like to continue where I left. I don't have a lot to lose, but Its quiet a bit: 20 lbs.
I hope I can get there by the end of April where I intend to try and conceive another child.
It's nice to read all the support that's going on here, I missed that. Lots of new losers hopefully!
Good luck everyone and good weekend.
Glad to be back

hmw - thanks for the recipe - but don't know what sweet salad cubes are :-(

9jachic - way to go! Great loss and well done.

fadoo79 - glad you are well now and able to Dukan.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend; I have a very busy week this week so have a load of cold meats and fish at the ready for snacking!

Just thought I would let you know that I am hanging in there. Had a busy weekend including a wedding so was pleased to stabilise for a couple of days and then had a nice little drop 300g = 2/3 lb this morning. That gives me a total weight loss so far of 3.8K = 8lbs. Almost 25% there. DH is going even better - he is not far from half way.

Welcome to pipplater and welcome back to Fadoo79. Everyone's comments help to keep me on track!

<Edit> Forgot to say I tried the Chili recipe from a few pages back. Had to do a little substitution as didn't have a dry salsa mix. Was good! DH ate SOOO much of it!

I finally solved my :"crunch" problem, I CAN EAT BREAD

I found this reciepe on-line, its Cruise Phase friendly, and it is delicious. I just made it today and it came out perfectly. I dont eat eggs so I used silken tofu to replace that. Seriously, this bread is out of control yummilicious. I don't recommend eating it every day. It makes me happy.

I will also be trying the chile recipe too, looks great.

Just a quick I AM BACK note and ready to DUKAN.

I SO was off for the last 4 days...I feel sick from the crap I ate. BUT today is a new beginning and I am going to be more accountable. I know when I don't do that I find it easy to slip up - and then slip up.

More later....

Flora37 - you were so right! After a real struggle with losing weight on the first week of cruise, this week is going so much better! I have a lunch date tomorrow, hopefully I can find something Dukan-ish so as not to spoil my great week.

Hi all, I have to really buckle down to meet my second goal. I am going to read my book again. I am needing some new food ideas because I am getting bored. It would help if I like to cook!!!

Samadhi

This post is for you and anyone else who doesn't like to cook

One of the things I have done is to beat a chicken breast flat. then coat in beaten egg, then dip in a bowl of oatbran and a few chopped herbs or spices. Then grill on both sides. It is YUMMY and completely on plan. And you get a bit of a crunch! It is like my own Dukan version of KFC lol

My other secret is LIVER - I know not everyone likes it - but liver and onions mmmmmmmm yummy.

Another good one is MUSSELS - steamed with some chopped shallots and chopped fresh ginger.

I am still "snacking" on skimmed milk with vanilla seeds from the pod.

Had a great day yesterday which was a PP day - I had turkey bacon and egg for breakfast, egg, cottage cheese and cold sliced meats for lunch, and for dinner some delicious prawns. It was the third day in a row I had fish.

I hope that helps to give you some ideas?

None of the cooking I do is fiddly. I can't be bothered when it is just for me.

Filcha - one of the Dukan books does say that week 1 of cruise is the worst for weight loss when your system is readjusting to the new introductions into the diet. I forgot to tell you that before lol
