I weighed in yesterday and lost 2lbs. I was really hoping for 3 so I could sign the 10lb board. I will do it next week for sure. I am so happy to be on the green menu it looks like there is more choices than the yellow and blue.

Hi..
I am on maintenance and lost .8 today. With the .1 I lost on Tuesday, I am
delighted... I will add more additions on my menu this week and see how I do.
There was a woman I was talking to today at center, who has been on maintenance for 2 years. She says, if she feels she has gone off program, she goes back to the green menu for a week or till she stabilizes her weight.

Nina 2, congrats on the weight loss as it is a good one, and wishing you the
10 pound board signing next week. Definately more choices on green vs. the other two.

RaRaf Congrats on Weight loss and for signing the board.

Wishing everyone a great day and think thin.

How wonderful, Patzi! Thanks for sharing the tips. Tomorrow morning I have my stabilization appointment at the center. I am very excited to add some new foods. I have already stepped down my MRC-6 from 6 to 4 daily, fish oil from 6,000 mg to 3,000 mg and HNS down to 2 the past two weeks.

Any other tips you can share to tranisition through stabilization more smoothly, I would greatly appreciate.

One thing they told me when I started stabilization is that you'll get more cravings because you are adding more starchy foods back in--but that it's really important to stick 100% to the stabilization plan and not "cheat" so you can know for certain what items it was that caused you to gain (if you do gain). It's also a lot harder to say "no" to off-plan splurges. It's like you've been holding your breath for the entire time you've been actively losing, and you feel like now you can let your breath out and relax a little--so it's harder to say "no." Unfortunately, it's not really the time to relax yet--it's still part of the plan--we're not on maintenance yet.

Also, by week 3, the choices have become overwhelming. Of course, I like routine, and it doesn't help that as soon as I get used to the new routine every week, it gets changed up again.

Basically, I'm ecstatic to be able to start adding foods back in, but it's still stressful and you still have to be careful. Don't let your guard down just yet.

You are now down to 44 posts which should be just two pages. If you see more than that, you need to edit your profile (User CP up top) so that you see 40 posts per screen rather than the system default of 20. Holler if you need help.
Thanks for the tips!!! Never thought to do that, but it does make sense.

I weighed in at lunch and lost another pound since Tuesday. I'll take it! That makes 2 pounds since last Friday.

Went for WI today and stayed the same as Tuesday.. so only 2lbs down this week but after 6lbs last week, I'm happy with that! Plus I had a LATE night last night and didn't end up eating dinner until close to 10pm, and I'm SO tired today.. hoping for a big loss next Tuesday.

We are going to Joplin, MO tomorrow to cook free food for displaced tornado victims and workers. It started kinda small .. the goal was to feed 300 people. Now, we are cooking 200 breakfast burritos (sausage, egg & cheese), 320 hot dogs, 320 hamburgers, 300 taco salads, a lot of nachos and of course we have plenty of water that was donated to us by Home Depot. Also, odds n ends stuff like sunflower seeds, beef jerky, candy. It's amazing what our little group has pulled together.

Anyway, my consultant asked if I was going to have any cravings or break downs around all the food. I told her I thought I would be ok because I'm taking my own water, HNS and making a turkey patty so they can throw it on the grill for me. I will probably just drink the veggie drink for my veggie serving at lunch and eat an orange. I hope to be home to cook dinner but if not, I can always do a shake. Besides, if I can pass on candy & snacks.. I think I should be able to pass on nachos and hot dogs... RIGHT?

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

That is so beyond wonderful that you and your group are going to Joplin. I'm sure they will appreciate it more than you will ever know! Simply awesome!!!

Drink your water, make sure you are weighing and measureing everything and eating when you are supposed to (within 1 hour of waking up and every 3-4 hours after that never going more than 5 hours without eating something (meal or HNS). Are you getting enough fiber and is everything moving through as it should - if not fiber drinks or Benefiber type products might help. Has the center recommended anything?

Personally I would either try Metaquick or go a few more days before adding more supplements in the hope of speeding things up - you would not know if the product helped or if your body decided to start coopearting. Talk to your center - that's what they are there for and hang in there - it is worth it!

Thanks! I only get to weigh in 1 time a week becuase my center in 70 miles one way, so I might remind them of that. They might be thinking, oh, 2 ls in 3 days.....when really it might be 2 lbs in 7 days. They havent talked to me about metaquick or meal replacements yet. They havent told me how much to exercise either. I hope I get the consultant I had last week She is a middle aged woman who seems more willing and knowledgeable about the plan than my first consultant who is around my age who just laughs and says "great" to everything.
No one told me not to go more than 5 hours. I guess I might need to add a HNS mid afternoon. I have just been eating 3 meals with the HNS at the meals.

Hi. I'm on week 7. I lost 11 pounds. Suddenly, though, I'm super bloated, and my weight shot up 1.5 lbs.

I hate this, because I look forward to that drop...even if its .2 lbs....it is something that says - KEEP GOING...it's working!

Anyways, I ate ham on Tuesday night, and then had dates for my fruit on Wednesday. I had roast and green beans last night.

I took a water pill just now to help me out a bit, and I'm drinking lots of water. I'm also very tired and have been stressed.

I have 4 weeks to lose 10 more pounds and I'm concerned about meeting my deadline.

Need some words of encouragement....Please

Joy

Joy,
It sounds like it's all water retention. Ham is a big no-no on program because of the sodium, so you're definitely retaining water from that. Also, most roasts are high in sodium from the seasoning people use, especially if they use soup or an "a jous" packet. Are dates on our plan? I always stuck to the basic fruits, so I can't remember. If they aren't then that's additional sugar that may contribute to the bloating.

Drink lots and lots and lots of water over the next day or two, and make sure you stay strictly on plan the next few days. It's take a few days to flush all of it out of your system, but your weight will come back down.

If it makes you feel any better, at least you know it's not fat that you put back on!

I weighed in today an have lost 9 pounds total. I weighed a lot less this morning at home, but I drank a big cup of liquids on the way up....ooops! So maybe I will get to the 10 lb board next week
I also found a store close to my center that stocks EVERY Waldenfarms product that they make.....for TWO..yes (2) DOLLARS!!! I went crazy and got almost one of everything. The caramel syrup is SOOOOOO yummy, I had it on my lunch apple. I also got the marshmallow and strawberry spread, chocolate dip. I am so excited!!! And the best part...the nutrition label is 0..0...0....0...0 LOVE it!!

I just started the cortislim, Phenatrim and MRC-6. I can definately tell the difference in my appetite. I am not that hungry and I have more energy. This will be the start of my 2nd week, so hopefully I can see some difference in the scale in the next few weeks.

Hello everyone...
I have been looking for Walden Farms Maple Syrup, and can't find it. Looked in Walmart, Pubix & they do not have it.. Any suggestions?

Chasing Skinny... Congrats on weight loss

Discoverjoy.. Ham is not allowed. I did not think dates were allowed as they are high in sugar.. Drink lots of water and then more water to do a flush or what you ate.

Razorbackcandi... I am sure you will be fine OP after that last trip you took with the yummy looking candy.
So heart warming what you and your group are going to do for the tornado victims.

LisaK190, my advise is stay OP while doing stabilization. Keep a close journal of what you eat , so if you do gain, you can go back and see why with your consultant..

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
