Now see, I didn't even miss that ice cream.

Ok--So, I did a "modified" version of meta quick--just 2 days, a bar for breakfast and lunch, then my regular dinner. It must have helped because I weighed in this morning and lost 4 lbs. this week! This takes me to 20 total. YAY!!!

I've never done a whole week so no clue. I like to do small days 2-3 so I can do it multiple times in a month. I really needed it this week as I some how gained 4 with adding daily exercise into my routine!! So frustrated!

The counselor assured me it was just water retention, but I'm not so sure! So I did an experiment. Since Tuesday, I did 1 day of meta-quick, laid off the exercise, and I stepped on the home scale this morning and I had lost 5 lbs.

It seems my body is ready for less calories - so it just may be that I need to change menus. But the last time I did meta-quick for a few days I lost 3 lbs. So I average really great numbers on MQ.

When I work out - which is really just walking on the treadmill at the gym (usually 1.5 - 1.75 miles in 35 minutes) two or three times a week and the Pilates/Yoga class; I only lose a pound or two. I talked to my consultant about it this week and told her I didn't want to get into the mind set that I didn't have to exercise. She told me to try reducing my timing and speed on the treadmill. So I'm still exercising, I'm just not pushing it. I haven't exercised at all this week just because stuff happens.. I go in for a WI tomorrow.

I've done the Meta-Quick for a full week a few times and have always lost 5-7 pounds. That's me though. Everyone will be different in trying it.

I have been on program for 3 weeks almost, 1 of pre-cond on my 2nd week of beige. My weight (on home scale) had been stuck for 10 days. This morning it went down 0.8. How long does this first stall last? I am getting discouraged

And what is Guggul for????

Everyone is different. I did not stall until about week 14 but realy bounced around for about 3 weeks before I started losing again. It can be furstrating - but hang in there, your body is adjusting to the changes you are making and it will get better.

Drink your water, make sure you are weighing and measureing everything and eating when you are supposed to (within 1 hour of waking up and every 3-4 hours after that never going more than 5 hours without eating something (meal or HNS). Are you getting enough fiber and is everything moving through as it should - if not fiber drinks or Benefiber type products might help. Has the center recommended anything?

Personally I would either try Metaquick or go a few more days before adding more supplements in the hope of speeding things up - you would not know if the product helped or if your body decided to start coopearting. Talk to your center - that's what they are there for and hang in there - it is worth it!

May I make a suggestion as a moderator? To keep your thread more manageable and maybe more readable, do not make several posts at nearly the same time. Use the edit button to add more to your post if nobody has posted right after you.

I am now going to do a merge of some posts which will cut down the length of this thread from it's 55 posts to ????. I'll be back to edit in the new number. .

You are now down to 44 posts which should be just two pages. If you see more than that, you need to edit your profile (User CP up top) so that you see 40 posts per screen rather than the system default of 20. Holler if you need help.
