I'm looking for something a little different to mix up my veggies--starting to get bored with them again. Lately, I've been trying to eat my veggies really really fast so I don't have to taste them so much and can "get it over with," then I savor the rest of my meal. Not the best thing to do, though, as I know it's better to eat slowly. But otherwise I get grossed out by them and almost start gagging on them later in the meal.

I know, it's like I'm 2 years old again, lol!
I bake at 400 until they start to brown and curl on the edges. I do olive oil, garlic salt and pepper. They are yummy. They don't get crunchy, just crisp. A nice crunch.

TeacherLady -- That is just fantastic. Way to go. Now, you look so great, so my advice is -- DON'T FEEL SO GREAT WHERE YOU ARE THAT YOU GET COMFORTABLE (like I did!). Keep pushing all the way and leave yourself some wiggle room. So happy for you! You already look like a different person -- the change in your face is just so remarkable!

Junie, I think you need to post a before/after pic! I always love looking at the ones people post--it is so inspirational!

ETA: Hmmm. My profile pic didn't change. I'll have to work on that.
YAY! YOU LOOK GREEAAAAT!

Hi..
I am really depressed with today's weigh in.. I gained 1/2 pound and on Tuesday gained .7 pounds. I have been OP at all times.. Still a little over 2 pounds I guess to goal.. Center wants me to go on three days of the Meta Quick Diet to see if that will kickstart it.. If I am still at the same point in ten days, they think they will start me on stabilization, as it may mean my body is ready for that. They told me many who have gone on stabilization still lose, so hopefully that will be the case if this is what I want... Sooooo, meta quick here I go AGAIN.. Thanks for letting me vent , as I feel real down at this point, but tomorrow is another day.

Congrats to all the losers and hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I lost over 7lbs during the 3 weeks of stabilization. The more food I ate, the more I lost, till I hit around 1600 calories/day. I've continued to increase my calories and am maintaining my weight (I also work out pretty heavily), now eating 1600-2000 cals/day (higher on workout days). So, take heart! You'll be there before you know it!

Wow! You look fantastic! What a difference in your midsection and legs!

When I hit -50lbs, my sister informed me that both of my nephews together is 50lbs. So it's like I lost two small children off of me.

-77lbs is almost like losing a 10 yr old!

Default Stressful week

We had two offsite meetings this week which made it extremely hard to stay OP, but I winged it as best as possible! I did have some no-no's which amazingly enough made me gag as I took the first bite. I guess things just don't taste the same when you remove them from your diet. 1) being corn - it was just too sweet & 2) dinner roll - I almost had to spit out the first bite, but instead of making a scene, I had a full glass of water to wash it down with.

WI this morning was awesome - lost 3 lbs - which means to date since 2/17 lost 12.5 lbs. Also received my 10 lb stone & signed the board!

CHOO CHOO!!!
