    I asked the center what my typical sizes would be at goal, and they gave me a rough estimate. They told me I would be in 6-10 pants and M tops. However, I haven't really bought anything super smaller than my frame as I know it all depends on where I lose. This time around, my waist is shrinking, but my boobs and ribcage are not, so my tops aren't getting as small as I thought they would.

    I am about to go buy some size 10 pants on sale this weekend though. I have a coupon to my favorite store and I'm in 12s right now, and they are getting lose. So I have faith that as I lose these last 30 pounds, I will go down at least 1 more size. If you are comfortable buying smaller clothes, go for it. It could be fun to keep trying them on until they fit!
  • For what it's worth..When I started @ 172lbs (I'm 5'2") I was wearing size 14/16 and XL tops (or XXL as I'm big chested). When I got down to my lowest weight of 124 I was wearing size 2/4 pants and size S/M shirts. Of course, everyone's shape is different and we all lose in varying areas. I just wanted to tell you what my personal experience is. I never bought smaller size clothes until I could actually fit in them (except one pair of pants I think). After I gained the weight back and started trying to lose again, I bought a bunch of clothes to "get back in to". Unfortunately, that was last April and all those clothes are still sitting in the bottom drawer of my dresser. I never fit into them. I'm hoping I'll get in them this summer (most of them are shorts).

    This wasn't a bad weekend, but I did go off-plan one time (had 1/2 packet of that powdered creamer in my coffee at church on Sunday morning). Hope it doesn't throw me off.
    I was so tempted to buy this really cute top in a size small at a local thrift store, but I didn't. Did any of you buy clothes that you assumed would fit at your goal weight?   • Ohmygosh, you guys, I'm such a goober! I thought I grabbed a fiber drink this morning. So, I fill up my glass with about 8 oz. of water and cut open the "fiber" packet. As I'm emptying it, I notice it's actually a chocolate pudding...which, when mixed with 8 oz. of water really becomes more of a chocolate syrup. Too bad I don't have another packet so I could just make a double batch and save half for later. So, I guess I'll be heating this up later to see if it works as a cup of hot chocolate. I'll let you all know :P

    I bet if you mix it with some ice cubes, you would have a yummy frozen hot choc drink!
  • Just WI. I've lost another 2.5 pounds since last Wednesday!!!!! That makes 9 pounds in 13 days and I'm PMS-ing, no less.

    Has anyone been able to buy the cookbook from their center? I have been back and forth to my center here in Shreverport for the last couple of weeks and they never have one!! I'm totally gonna get bored really quick if I don't get some ideas. I have seen the Recipe thread, but I find it hard to follow and know which ones are ok for my menu.

    Which menu are you doing? I have the cookbook and I have uploaded pictures and the recipe on my blog - I can send you more.

    Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been obese since junior high and have no idea what to expect so it's fun to hear about other people's success and gives me hope for the future.

    Check out the recipes thread on this forum. A lot of the recipes from the cookbook are posted on there.
  • So, after I got home, I added another chocolate pudding mix to my chocolate "syrup" disaster from earlier. Would you believe it didn't thicken up at all with the additional packet? Boo! So, I added a dash of salt and 2 packets of splenda, heated it in the microwave for 45 seconds and had a not-terribly-nasty-but-definitely-not-something-I'd-care-to-repeat-hot-chocolate. Haha!

    Of the two chocolate recipes I've tried - neither have been tasty or come out a consistency I could handle.... I just add water until it looks the right consistency - and eat it plain.

    I know, right? The water recommended is waaaayyy too much, in my opinion. I add about 2 oz. to the pudding instead of the recommended 4 (I think that's what's recommended, anyway).
