Keep charging ahead & I hope you hit that mini-goal before your husband gets back!

Last Friday I MADE myself get on the scales and saw a number that I've NEVER seen before!!! I told myself that I had to get serious again. I decided that I would try it on my own and had plans to go to the grocery store after work but then...my favorite counselor from MRC called me and told me about the one day re-sign special that they were having! I decided that it was a sign and went in on my lunch break. I preconditioned all weekend and started back yesterday. I already feel better because I know that I am in control again and not the food!! This time I hope I can go all the way
good for you for getting back on plan, but that is something i am worried about, that i will cheat once when i am done losing this weight and not be able to control myself then gain it back. i know i will always have to be cautious of what i eat. did you go through maintance? i know i won't make my goal by the time my contract ends next month and i don't want to have to resign. its just getting to be too expensive.

Thank you Skinnyby25!! Unfortunately, I never made it to maint. But I am the type of person who is either ALL in or none at all. I just have to know this about myself and stay away from what I know will derail my success.

Just got back from WI.. Lost.... 3.5lbs.. Whhhoooottt Whooottttt! I felt like I was horrible this week.. Just not "with it" on program. Felt like I was sneaking in too many carbs.. But when I was going over my sheet with my counselor, and I had actually done a lot better than I thought..

I have been having these intense sugar cravings.. So I broke down and bought a 100 cal twix. Then at dinner the other night, I skipped my bread and had the twix for dessert. The counselor said that was a good way of managing a "cheat".. I am now not craving sweets. It's like I needed that one little one to get over it..

And weighing in once a week has really been great.. I know longer have the ups and downs.. So far just downs..

Goal this week.. Max out my HNS.. I'm going to try the suggestion on here to add one before bed.. That sounds like a great idea..

What's your goal this week???

MEEZOOGIRL,

That's awesome!!! I have hit the final 5 weeks of my program and I have to make goal. I talked to my counselor and she assured me if I lose 3 lbs a week I will get to go to stabilization. I sure hope so. My goal this week - up my water intake and as she suggested up my exercise from 2 days a week to 4 days a week (30-45 minutes)!

Now that's a reason to be determined! Good luck!

When I'm craving something sweet I drink a Muscle Milk Light that is only 100 calories and has 15g of protein!! I actually drink them instead of my HNS and know others that do the same.

So today is my 3rd day of pre-conditioning & I went in for my 1st WI. I am down 1.5lbs. Yay! I'm planning on another WI Friday. I have been doing really well, but today I have been really hungry. I can't wait to get my menu on Friday...I am hoping there will be some different option & I know that maybe the shakes will help with filling me up in between meals. I also purchased The corti-trim & msm based off of all the info you ladies have provided in the forum FYI I purchased MRC-6 & on my home from the center I received a phone call that told me that I cannot take MRC-6 due to medical reasons. So if you have anemia you are not "allowed" to take MRC-6. Has anyone else heard this? At least I am getting a refund...I was a little bummed...but it is better to be safe

I've had a blood clot in the past, and am not allowed to take the MRC-6 either. It effects your blood, so they don't want to chance it. I take Corti-trim and the Enhancer. They say that the enhance does speed up your metabolism, but doesn't effect the blood the way MRC-6 does. You may want to check into that. I was kind of bummed about not being able to take it too.. But I'm doing really good without it.. Good Luck!!!

When I first began this program the first month I was SOO hungry!! I went to GNC and purchased Revolution Thermogenic Push to help with my hunger pains, and wow does it work!! It also gives you energy!! I took it the first 8 weeks and now don't need it ....

That is quite possibly something I need to look into b/c my seizure meds make me SO tired so the extra energy would not hurt one bit!

Down 17 pounds so far this month! Hooray!

I have to say that I'm switching to the Weight Watchers filling foods program. As far as I can tell, it's very similar to MRC. I can just treat myself every now and then with a 100 calorie snack without major guilt. I've been doing the MRC program by mail and phone. I'm planning on keeping up with the HNS drinks. I think they are great for curbing my hunger mid-afternoon.

Does anyone know if one of the online vendors sells the pink lemonade flavor? It's my absolute favorite.

Congrats on the 17 pounds in ONE month! As for the pink lemonade HNS, I buy the Proti lemonade HNS powder from dietdirect and it is exactly the same...it is my favorite proti drink...i can't stand the pineapple to drink but I make a marinade for chicken using it and a little sesame/ginger salad dressing by Paul Newman...I just count it as my oil...and its good.
