So I feel a little rant coming on, so I have this boyfriend that Ive been with for 3 years and over the years my weight has gone up and down, mostly up. It is kind of an issue with us. So ive been on MRC for a month now and Ive lost 16 lbs, sounds good to me right?! And you know what he says, thats ok, but you could do better!! Are you kidding me!? Thanks for the encouragement.

Then on another note this weekend wasnt so great, but I lost 0.5lbs which Ill take and they did measurements today and Ive lost 15 inches, and my lady was like man I wonder what you would have lost on the MRC6 blah blah blah. I know she was just trying to sell me more crap, but it is really worth it. I only take a multivitiman and oils. I am strongly against taking anything the even hints at being maybe kinda like a weight loss pill. And I know that theyre really vitamins, but Im still skeptical. Any advice??

Thanks for letting me get that said!!

Thumbs up

You have my sympathies about getting pushed to buy more stuff.
If taking other things besides the vitamins and oils isn't your thing don't let them push you into it.
From your results you are doing AWESOME with your weight loss efforts.
Keep up the good work and don't let your boyfriend get you down. Men can be jerks sometimes.

I know I'm supposed to go to WI today but I just don't wanna. It's been such a SLOW couple of weeks. It's like .5 here and .5 there...I just wanna get over that 160 hump and move on to the 150's. I know I need to go but my scale at home asn't moved much if any and I just don't wanna go in and find out it's up .5 or the same. I ran out of supp's and now I'm just on the oil and a multi vitamin but I used the extra money for supps to join our local ymca. I thought it was better to spend money on that then supps. *Sigh* wish me luck.

Hello, I have been experiencing fatigue for the last couple of days.
Could this be due to the change in my diet?
I have been getting up at night more to go with all of the liquid that I have been consuming and I get up at 5am but I do go to bed early.
I am taking oils, multivitamin and HNS's and staying OP totally.
I'm normally a very hyper, energetic person.
What do you guys think?

That is really not supportive and very infuriating! I can relate as that is exactly how my father is. Thank goodness I have a VERY supportive boyfriend who is extreamly proud of me.
Anyway, with the MRC-6...I was very against it too but after some family friends who had been on it told me how wonderful it is I decided to give it a try. I am down 16lbs but my inches are 29.5 which is nearly double! I can't say for sure that it was the MRC-6 but I'm going to keep on it! Also, it is not a diet pill...it does not curb my hunger at all Hope this helps!

This month has just been full of "cheats". This Friday I'm going to a banquet that cost me $65, so you can bet I'm going to eat Off program. Then there is Ts-giving, and then Christmas parties, and so on and so on. I'll be lucky if I don't gain instead of losing.
I've been told that once you go off program that it takes 4 days to get back into the "fat burning" mode. So I am wondering if it is worth taking all these vitamins and HNS's on the days that I am not "in the fat burning mode". Any advice?

WI went good. I lost 1.5lbs since Monday. That made me feel better. Anyone know of an over the counter version of the Enhancer?

Supplements and such .... many people don't ever use them and lose at the same rate as others do. Your weight loss will wax and wane over the course of your journey regardless of what you are taking ... don't get pushed into taking something you don't want to take. Often times, people buy the trial pack at the beginning of their program and are having good luck, and then if the don't buy the MRC6 again and have a plateau they blame it on the MRC 6, when indeed they really have nothing to compare to. I, personally, am totally against all of the supplements. When I did the program first a few years ago, I lost 55 pounds in 4-1/2 months and didn't take anything except my normal stuff that I was taking before. (multivitamin, calcium -- I'm over 50 -- MSM for my arthritis and fish oil) I gained a lot of my weight back because I went off program, not due to any lack of supplements.

You need to know that the consultants are paid a commission on what they sell, so they oftentimes (not every one does it) they will pressure you by saying little passive-aggressive things like that to you, and that is just manipulating people who feel vulnerable about their weight (in my own opinion). Your consultants should be supportive of you in whatever choice you make. If they're not, request a new one.

Weight loss is an emotional journey and it really irks me when people take advantage of that.

Okay .... off my soapbox and on to figuring out what to make for lunch!

Thank you, I needed that post today. I am out of both the enhancer and the MRC-6 but I dont have the money to restock. I have been fighting a silent battle all day trying to decide what to do about it.

From the posts that I have been reading, you can buy Relacore at Walmart to replace the Corti-trim and Now Cider Vinegar at GNC to replace the MRC 6. That is what I am going to do to cut costs. But I still figure that any amount of money I am spending on myself to get healthy is worth it.

I was wondering if there is something we can buy outside of MRC to replace the Phentratrim.. That stuff is spendy and I start to sweat when I get low, cause I know it is going to cost me big time to replace it.. If I can find something close to it for cheaper then I would like to do that..
Cheers!

2 Capsules *
Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine HCI) 7 mg 350.00 %
Chromium (as Amino Acid Chelate) 200 mcg 167.00 %
Apple Cider Vinegar Powder 500 mg *
Soy Lecithin 200 mg *
Glucomannan Fiber (Amorphophallus rivieri) 100 mg *
Kelp (Ascophylum nodosum) (Algae) 74 mg *
Grapefruit Fiber 30 mg *

So heres what I found on the apple cider vinegar pills does any one have a MRC-6 bottle to compare it to? Thanks!!

MRC-6 Bottle Label...
2 Capsules
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) - 10Mg 500%
Proprietary Blend (Kelp, Lecithin, Apple Cider Vinegar (fruit), Blue Green Algae, Bromelain 600GDLU/GM) - 1000Mg

So MRC-6 doesn't isolate the ammounts of the other ingredients, but I'd bet it's about the same. I'll be buying the New Apple Cider pills at GNC or online once i'm out of MRC-6.

By the way...if anyone has seen Relacore cheaper than the ones at Walmart...let me know. I'm gonna check Costco or something eventually, but the relacore was still $25 for 2 weeks of pills. Pretty pricey.

Default Be Careful

Be sure to check out the labeling on all of the products. This diet is so specific....It's not just the active ingredients that matter...it's also the compounds that the nutrients are mixed with that you have to watch.
Everything that's ingested can affect your metabolism. You've made a choice to do the MRC program and you don't want to sabbotage yourself by taking something that may not help...no matter what the cost savings. I almost think you would be safer to not take any at all.
just my thoughts.
