I joined about July 22 and have lost about 8 pounds and haven't really stuck to the diet like I should..I would either eat something I shouldn't or not eat something I should or drink a glass of wine that I know I shouldn't but I am starting over today with a new attitude..I think users in the past threads have called it making a u-turn..so I would like to thank everyone for their posts and encouraging stories ... So far today so good..Thanks, Deborah

A u-turn it is! Congratulations on making the decision to turn it around!

Yeah, the current track of that storm is NOT good news for LA. That can change tho - not that I wish that on anyone. But we'll be keeping a close eye on it for sure.

So where exactly is the German restaurant?? Pier Park or somewhere else? We'd make the drive to PC for a good German restaurant - had one here near us for a while but it's gone :(

Yes, it's in Pier Park. Just about in the middle of the 'restaurant row' section, east side of the street. I took an apple & had the chef salad. There was some pickle something? on it that was yummy, but the rest of the salad was OP. Not much else on the menu was though. The beer was really hard to pass up. Hubby said it was good.

The track on the storm looks like it could end up anywhere. I'm leaving town a week from Friday, gone three weeks. I hate leaving 18yo son alone to board up & take care of the animals if necessary, but we'd have no summer vacations otherwise.

Congrats to everyone on all the losses this week!

I went to my first WI today since starting the Day 1-4 menu (it's Day 3 for me). I was down 2.5 lbs!! (Total of 5 since I started preconditioning). I knew this would work from looking at the success everyone else on the board has had - but it's really exciting to see it working for me!:)

Quick question about HNS - I've been having 3/day. Today at the center they encouraged me to get the 4/day - told me that 2 per day makes my metabolism 33% more efficient and 4 per day would make it 66% more efficient. So - I'm curious.....do you guys think that more HNS translates to more weight loss? Or is it just a way for them to get more $$. :D

May If you can lose 8 lbs in a month without approaching this program with passionate dedication, imagine where you will be a month from now with your new attitude. You can do this!

This is such great advice! I'm going to file it away....because I know sooner or later I'll need a jump-start.

Liquid Minerals - this is good to have when you have taken the 5 Http and the alarm keeps going off :D On a serious note, if I'm feeling tired and a little run down the liquid minerals are an exxcellant pick me up with no adverse effects. I will replenish my stock when it runs dry ($18) but it's like a half of a cap full (from the bottle) to get you going. :carrot:

Not sure how close the formulation is to MRC, but a 30-day supply of Liquid Minerals is under $10 at Sam's.
