Katie - just fyi - I switched to blue officially today - well see what happens over the next 2 weeks -

How do you usually get in 2 1/2 proteins - I had a bagel with peanut butter today for my extra S and 1/2P......it is just one S and 1/2P more than Gold right?

Morning girls! I got up and decided to add weights to the BL Boot Camp workout. Can I just say, ouch. A lot. That made the workout twice as hard. So now I am just wondering how these poor little arms are going to pack babies around today. Sorry, kid, but I just can't hold you!

HeatherCP- You are doing great with your foster son. With children that age, consistency is the key. Since he is in foster care in the first place, he probably has not had very much consistency in his life. Be sure to reward good behavior as much as you can, and make syre that understands what you expect from him.

Okay off to feed the troops, see you all in a while!!

Heather- I usually eat an egg for breakfast for my 1/2 protein, but 1 tablespoon of peanut butter is fine too. Sounds like you have the counts right. Good luck with blue, I'll bet the scale really starts moving again!!

Heather - I am on Blue too. Yes, the only difference between Gold and Blue is the 1/2P and S. On Blue I am only supposed to do one of the LA Lites, so I don't think the calories between Gold w/ 2 Lites and Blue 2/ 1 Lite are much different. Where in NC are you? We are going to NC on May 17th for both the All-Star race and the Coke 600. We generally spend a lot of time touring the area and going to all of the different race shops. This year we need to head a lot further north to go to Petty Enterprises - my favorite driver is Bobby Labonte. I also intend on hitting some good scrapbook stores while we are there.

Not much exciting planned for the day. Actually got on my elliptical last night - it felt great to actually get moving again. The program I did is 20 minutes with intensity intervals - it definitely keeps things interesting! I intend to hit the elliptical again while watching American Idol tonight.

TTFN,

Wow...Look at all the beautiful women on this site.

I caved today and bought the LAWL calcium supplements. It is a chocolate chewable and I kid you not, it tastes just like a tootsie roll! $10 per box will last me a month. WORTH IT!! LOL...I also bought 10 of the "snacks". I think I need variety for my starches. I'm also curious about the ingredients and I'll be hunting for "substitutes" (like the Lunas are to Lites and the Slimfast Ultima are to LA shakes)....unless, of course, someone has already figured it out.

Congrats on all the losses. For my midweek weigh in, I was down 1.4...That's 12.6 pounds in 24 days. Not a bad start at all. I get measured on Friday and I am excited. I can already feel a difference in my clothes.

Good morning,

I don't want to move my ticker, but I was 150.3 this AM.
How frustrating - guess I should have followed those post T/O directions
I will give it till the end of the week and if the scale doesn't budge I guess I'll have to move it back up.

Want to get to 143 by my birthday which is about 8 weeks away.
This last few lbs are stubborn indeed.

For those of you who use the slimdown shakes - does it replace 1S/1P?
When do you generally have them - at lunch or dinner?
May have to try that route.

Happy W/L vibes to all,
-S

Heather pp:
When I was in red I used the 1/2 p for breakfast. I used 1 egg or 4 slices of ls or lf turkey, with a small bagel with light cream cheese...yummy!!!!!!

Congrats on the loss girl. I love the snacks from LAWL. I love the cheese curls and the BBQ twist too, I like "junkie" salty food like Doritos, and those snacks cut the cravings for cheetos or the evil doritos. Girl I am weak in front of a bag of Doritos!

I got 6 of the cheese curls, 3 of the garlic twists and one of the toffee popcorn. I really like regular cheese curls (baked and fried) or any cheese cracker snacks for that matter, so I thought I would try them.

AH! I like Doritos too. Any flavor.

I am not bringing them into the house now. It really is a weakness for me.

Angelica - Thanks for the info.
If you have the shake for dinner, do you have anything else with it?
Like salad or other veggies...just may seem like I'm depriving myself with just a liquid dinner

I am getting rather ticked @ hovering around the same weight forever though, so will try it.

Forgot to mention, I want to be 143 on my birthday because it is my 43rd birthday - seems fitting.

Hi Suzanne,
You will love NC. My husband works for Bill Davis Racing and we live about 5 miles from Bobby. I see him out on the road riding bike all the time. Also see Kyle out eating at a local pizza place. You will love the Petty museum and also if you get a chance, take a tour of Bill Davis--you can actually walk through the shop. That is rare.
Anyhow, you will love the trip. We will most likely go to the All Star Race.
