Milca you're so cute! Love the necklace, too.

Nikki-was that you with the 6-year old bar story? I cracked up.

I actually was cornered by a homeless guy on the street last week - having no cash on me, I forked over - you guessed it!!!! - a Chocolate Crunch. I'm sure it wasn't exactly what he had in mind, but he did eat it! LOL.

Well, I broke down and added my picture too. I really need to find a better one that isn't so close, but ... I am 29, although I will be 30 in June. My birthday present to myself is supposed to be a healthier body. I will get there - just need to figure out why I am not losing.

Hi everyone
I am new to your site and already loving it. You all seem to be so upbeat, I already feel that you will all be there when I need a helping hand. I am having some trouble following your abbreviations. Anyhow, I am now getting excited about the loss, it's starting to show.

Mary, good luck in your family planning. My prayers are with you. My birthday is actually Christmas Day -- my uncle (mom's brother) had a son in early January when mom was in college. Her comment was "who would plan a baby that close to Christmas?" God showed her who was in charge didn't he?

My parents always tried to make my birthday separate from Christmas. We would do family Christmas on Christmas Eve, Santa Christmas morning and then after lunch it was birthday time, all my presents were ALWAYS in birthday paper, no Christmas paper allowed! However, now that I'm married and trying to split holidays between my fam in TN and his in KY it is more difficult to differentiate birthday from Christmas.

Rebeca- Thanks chickie, you are so sweet, not to mention that you look like a supermodel yourself! Have a safe drive home.

Suzanne- Love the picture. It is so fun to get to see all of you girl's faces!

Paula- Welcome!!! Looks like you are losing like crazy. Here are some abbreviations: COD= Center of Doom, DH= Dear Husband, Damn Husband, etc., NSV= Non scale victory, WI= Weigh In, TOM= Time of the Month.
I'm sure there are more, but those are all I could think of off hand. I will look forward to getting to know you better.

Mary- Practice away Chickie!!

Milca- There is a belly dancing troupe about 30 miles from me. It would be fun to take lessons. I guess for now I will look for a DVD instead of a tape. Me and Milca, belly dancing goddesses!

Laurie- Mediums? Wow, what a great nsv!

Julia- How long is your husband out to sea for?

Ange- Your story about the homeless guy made me laugh. How cute of you to give him that.

Katie ~ he left at the end of January and won't be back until July but I do get to go to Hawaii to visit with him before then (hopefully, if the Navy doesn't change their plans ~ ladies keep your fingers crossed for me!).

Hello Everybody,

You guys are cracking me up - such youngsters!!
I jumped on the photo bandwagon, cause that's what I do best - jump on bandwagons.
Today was so-so not terribly off plan but not spectacular either. Haven't been eating all of my veggies lately - bad girl.
I am going to have some lemon water and see what happens tomorrow.

Til tomorrow,
-S

Good morning everyone! You were a chatty bunch yesterday afternoon and evening!

Mary: Have some fun! My cousin has five children...the last one being a surprise, and her second son keeps praying for more. He told her flat out..God said I could have another brother and I just keep praying and thanking God for my new brother who isn't born yet! My cousin prays in fear! LOL I keep telling her to send her husband to the doctor with a police escort!

Mentul, my DH is also a Christmas baby. He is the youngest of 9 children and his brothers and sisters were furious with him for taking their mom away on Christmas (like it was his fault!). It's funny now but for him growing up it was quite an ordeal!

Ok..so I am joining the group of thirty something's out here! I am 35 and will be 36 April 30! Private message me for address to send presents! LOL only kidding!

The official Spring Break countdown has begun! We only have 3 more school days until Break! (I don't count today...I am already here!) I have a ton of cleaning and organizing planned and I am going to take DFSs to the Children's Museum and the Zoo! Our 6 year old FS is really giving us a run for our money. I know it's the age and his situation but there are moments in time I just don't know what to do. It seems we go over and over the same things each and every day! My plan involves doing the same thing over and over until he understands that we are not changing the rules. I have those moments in time when I feel like such a bad mom...but I also think I need to remain firm.
OK done venting....
Well I am off to take of the sick in the clinic today. My numbers are down since no one wants to be sick over the break! I seem to see mostly schoolitis, testitis and just don't want to be here itis! Later chickies!

HeatherCp--too cute about Spring Break--I totally understand--I always hated the week before Break because the kids were already mentally GONE!! I said we should just spring it on 'em on the Friday before--"hey kids, guess what? Next week is SpringBreak!! YEAH" Wouldn't parents love it though?
