Great job Joan!! So glad that the numbers are moving again.

Diane- Blue is 2 1/2 protien (4 oz red meat 6 oz chicken), Dairy, 3 veggies, 3 fruit, and 3 starches. Pretty good plan.

Repo Girl - the counsellor said I could have different proteins as long as I stayed on program.

So far....my proteins for breakfast have typically been either 1 tbsp of peanut butter (w/1 whole wheat toast) OR 1/4 cup cottage cheese w/a bit of pineapple. Lunch protein is usually 2 - 3 slices of deli turkey or 1/2 can of tuna (w/whole wheat bread and lettuce for a 1/2 sandwich) OR leftover chicken from the night before with a salad.

I have never been much of a "morning eater" so splitting it up this way seems to work for me. The same goes with splitting the bars.

Hey Milca! Thanks for the wave earlier! The recipes that you posted earlier look great! My DH is the cook in our family so I am going to print them and see what he thinks! :-)

Repro: Thanks for the reply - i really appreciate it. I'm looking forward to having the scale move downward again. I'll post and let you know how it's working.

I have another question. I had fish for lunch yesterday, and steamed shrimp for dinner - drank all my water. Today, I wake up and my hands are so fat with water retention. Does this happen to anyone?

Thank you, Girl!
You made me blush!:
Is the least that I can do. You guys are really nice, not all the people would share their experiences with someone that they don't physically know to help them to lose weight! So a BIG THANK YOU to all of you!

I usually buy the cooked shrimp cuz it's easier, but decided to look at the raw shrimp and I couldn't believe how much more sodium the cooked shrimp has. They must boil it in salt water when they cook it. I decided that I am going to do uncooked shrimp from now on. It tastes better to me too.
