I've been doing well so far, but as I said it's only my 8th day. I am going to stick at it though, as tough as it's going to be especially through the holiday season!
Yes! This is especially for you! on day 8! Super! You are in Ketosis, and it is easy from here!

Other threads kind of talk about cheating...for some that is a good place to go, but for me, I need the postive attitude about no cheating. This helps me.

So welcome!

The holidays are coming and I'm not worried about cheating, I know I'll be able to stay 100% OP. This year I would celebrate and be thankful for all the pounds and inches that I've lost, I'll be celebrating that I don't have to eat to feel good or have fun! I feel that I have control over the food, and the food doesn't control me anymore...I feel great, and I plan on losing more weight to feel even better- Can't wait to go shopping for new clothes once I reach my goal!!! We can totally stick to our IP diet during these holidays!

Hi 100% Rockstars!! You guys are such an inspiration!! I have been 100% OP for the last 4 weeks myself (I think). And I hope to stay that way!! I don't see any other way to do this!! I plan on staying OP on my month long vacation too!! Wish me luck!!
I had a quick question for you guys since you all are 100%!! DO you measure ur veggies in a cup? or in grams?(using a scale)I have been using a cup till now, but if 100% means using a scale for veggies as well, SO be it!!
Thank you for being SO awesome and Iam sorry if this has been asked before!!
Have a 100% OP day!!

You will be fine measuring veggies in a cup, Aria05. If you use the scale for grams it will help later in maintenance for other types of foods where we have to be more precisely careful, but the veggies we are eating are not high in carb or going to be a problem to worry too much about measuring. Just don't eyeball it, lol. that's how we got in a mess in the first place - big eyeballs make for big tummies & butts. It's a good idea though to weigh your raw meat/fish proteins (or check the kg weight on the package and divide accordingly.)
Keep on 100%ers! You got this!

haha!! Thanks Liana!! Yes, I diligently measure my proteins and sometimes irritate the poor guy at Whole foods behind the meat counter to get it just right heehee!!
But yes i use a cup to measure veggies on most days. Although i will not lie, i am very good at estimating my bell pepper ,broccoli n mushrooms coz i eat them almost everyday!!I do eyeball on days I am feeling adventurous or when my measuring cup is dirty But I hereby, promise not to do that!!
Thanks again!! You guys are the best!!

Aria05 - being prepared is the key! Sounds like you got this!

I was still in P1 over the holidays last year and just planned ahead to take veggie trays to gatherings, stuck with the proteins (good thing I love turkey!) and used the chocolate brownie for dessert while everyone else had theirs. Worked out really well.

It helped to really remember that the occasion is about the people, not the food. Stationing myself away from the kitchen helped and staying busy - setting the table, playing with the kids, etc. really helped with the urge to nibble.

Congrats to all for staying 100% - not always easy but so, so worth it!

Ok, I just got a HUGE can of Quest protein powder. I can't possibly take the whole thing (Flight Weight restrictions and all!) Any suggestion?
Thanks!

Can you mail it to your destination? Probably cheaper than paying the extra/heavy baggage fee.

Hi ladies! Just checking back in, making sure everyone is still here and 100% OP.

I've been doing great, I really find it gets easier each day. Let's see what weigh in tomorrow says!

Aria - where are you off to?!?

Aria05,
On vacation this summer I put individual scoops in zip lock bags, that way you don't have to worry about measuring it but just grab and go to add to water bottle. I did bring the label from the big cannister with me in case airport security was wondering about my baggies of white powder...
