I just ran into two people today that that I have not seen for awhile (1 month & a couple years, respectively).

WELL...both of them did not recognize me;) Now, I was not looking good (sweats & a ballcap), but still.

The second person went on about me being tiny...which at 142 for 5'3" is not tiny...but you know what? I'll take it. Thank you:carrot::carrot::carrot:

I put this on another thread, but just am tickled that I'm sitting here in a pair of size 8 ON Sweetheart skinny jeans. They didn't fit at all when I bought them a few weeks ago. Now they're actually a bit big in the hips so I had to cinch my belt in tighter. :carrot:

A Customs Agent looked at my passport picture and said I lost of weight since the picture was taken!

I've had a pair of slim-fitting jeans that I've been waiting and waiting to fit back in to. And this morning I did! I'm wearing them in my photo. In celebration I decided to 'come out of hiding' and post a picture here. :D

While lots of folks I know well are afraid to say anything about my weight loss, the girl checking me out at the neighborhood drug store said "Would you tell me what you are doing to lose weight...I want to have results as good as yours!"

Woke up this morning feeling skinnier than yesterday. Not sure what causes that feeling, but decided to try on my size 6 jeans.

BAMMMM they fit! Tried them on last weekend and they were too tight to wear in public.

Also noticed the medium sweaters I bought last month are looking big on me. When I started IP I was in a 1x top, and 18 pants. I never could have imagined that I would be wearing a size 6 pant and small top 6 months after starting IP.

Going to need to do some shopping today! Size small tops, size 6 pants and some smaller underwear. Most of mine are like baggy granny panties now.:o

As you know from my previous whining, January is beating the crap out of me. Illness after illness and it's been a struggle to eat and drink what I need.

Today I went shopping with DH to pick up odds and ends. He wanted to go to Work N Gear. There is an Avenue next door. Now that things are getting big, I wanted a few cheap things to take to Ireland in March.

HUGE sale Ladies!! A lot of items 70% off. Boots (not real leather $20!!)

Anyway, I got 4 sweaters for $60 in................14/16!!! I tried them on and actually looked at myself in the mirror. I started shouting, Oh My God!! For some unknown reason, my husband came in to look for me (Stop me from spending but he NEVER goes in to a women's clothing store.) I was so excited to see him!! I needed a new green sweater for St. Paddy's day and found one, sort of fitted but I was feeling brave.............14/16...........it fit!!!!! And I looked good!!! I am going to wait to get jeans and truly fitted for bras until the beginning of March but I am all set for Ireland!!

I had the green sweater on and I telling my husband over and over, 'look baby'!!

I was practically bouncing off the walls talking to the cashier!!!

Wow!!!! That is outstanding!!!! You must feel really terrific. It is amazing what can be one in a relatively short amount of time on IP if you just stay committed!! :carrot:

Thanks bubbleblower. When I first researched IP on 3FC's I kept seeing people's before and after pics and was stunned people could completely transform themselves in just a few months. I'm really shocked that it has happened so quickly for me too. I love it!
