HUGE sale Ladies!! A lot of items 70% off. Boots (not real leather $20!!)

Anyway, I got 4 sweaters for $60 in................14/16!!! I tried them on and actually looked at myself in the mirror. I started shouting, Oh My God!! For some unknown reason, my husband came in to look for me (Stop me from spending but he NEVER goes in to a women's clothing store.) I was so excited to see him!! I needed a new green sweater for St. Paddy's day and found one, sort of fitted but I was feeling brave.............14/16...........it fit!!!!! And I looked good!!! I am going to wait to get jeans and truly fitted for bras until the beginning of March but I am all set for Ireland!!

I had the green sweater on and I telling my husband over and over, 'look baby'!!

I was practically bouncing off the walls talking to the cashier!!!

Just when I was feeling down and out...........SO SO happy!!!!:carrot::carrot::carrot::cb::cb::cb::danc e::dance::dance::dancer::dancer::dancer::flow1::fl ow1::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer3::cheer3::cheer 3::belly::belly::belly:

Isn't that the best feeling?! Finding treasures in your own closet that you thought you'd never be able to wear again!!

That's when you know it's really working!!! Nice job!!

For dinner tonight, DH made steak on the grill outside and it is FRIGID :brr: here!!!! He also grilled up some green, orange and red peppers, using just a tiny bit of olive oil. When I told him how great they tasted (and what a nice change it was from my usual steamed broccoli! ) he turned all serious and told me how impressed and proud he was that I've been able to stick with IP and that I am looking so good! It was really sweet. :cloud9:

For a lot of reasons, I think this year is going to be one of the best ever, and IP is a big part of making that happen!

Oh yeah, I also think I saw my knee caps for a brief moment this morning!

NSV - Although, I do enjoy going and getting a pedicure....
It is really nice when I can again paint my own toenails. And the cherry on top is that I can breathe while doing it lol! Jen

I like this thread and enjoy reading others NSV's................ So, I'm bumping it!

I went to the jeweler the other day to have them take a link out of my watch. It's great when even your wrist loses inches!

MSEMDEE 03-05-2013 09:48 AM

Just wanted to bump this up.
I think it is important for everyone to see that it is not just about the numbers on the scale but that the NSV" count for so much for our self-esteem to continue on our journey.
Also wanted to add my NSV that I am down 3 pants sizes.
As well, I can't stop touching my backside. It finally has some shape back there, not just this round blob following me around all day!

One of the many shirts that I own that didn't fit - I swear the wife was shrinking them when she washed and dried them - I often said she could shrink iron just by washing it - now fits.

I tried on my halfway incentive dress this weekend for the first time.

IT FIT!!!!!!!!! And man did it look good!!! I came running out of my bedroom giggling to show my entire family, who were over visiting.

They said they hadn't heard me giggle like that in years - and that was worth more to them then anything. For me, it was the fact that the dress fit - and I felt beautiful in it!

CW - 193.2 Only 13.2 more to losing 100lbs! Only 73.2 to goal!

Fishette 03-05-2013 07:12 PM

Weigh to go, Spiritman! Great way to measure success!

Saskbushbunny, I find myself checking out my backside in the mirror in the restroom - I can't believe it's not really there anymore!

JenRem, I've been wearing my watch like a bracelet. I love to look down and know that it is not dangling because the clasp is broken.

Love reading this thread!!!

lisa32989 03-05-2013 07:38 PM

Next mini goal in my sig.
It fits!
And I'm .7 lb away

I use a web type belt that cinches instead of having holes. I cut 5.5" off of it today as it was getting a tad long.

I also bought a new pair of jeans since my coach keeps complaining the ones I wear to WI are so baggy when she's taking measurements. I bought them at Costco ($13) because I wanted something cheap I consider a "transition" size. But Costco doesn't have a dressing room so I had to guess. I went from a 38w to a 36w. Got home and they're not falling down but definitely looser than my 38s were when I started at the end of Jan.

Super cute guy at work that I hadn't seen in over 3 months said to me "Hey, Katie, I haven't seen you in a while. How have you been? You look amazing, by the way!" That was 1.5 months into IP. He was the first to comment, even though I know everyone else can tell...talk about an ego boost!

Thirteen 03-07-2013 07:49 PM

My "goal jeans" that haven't fit me since I was 21 (12 years ago) fit...they're still uncomfortable, but they easily zipped!

ragdoll74 03-11-2013 08:11 PM
