I have a question... I am going to phase off for the summer and our 3 weeks at the beach in June. I have read on here that it's 2 weeks on PH2 and 2weeks on PH 3. My coach said it can all be done in two weeks. My goal weight has changed several times but I will be happy wherever I end up. I am okay with myself right now but want to do this program right. Feedback is appreciated.

NSV. Had my first compliment today and it only took me 31 lbs to get it!!!

You can come here any chat any time you want....some others have branched out to a different forum. Three months was not a "rule" I just wanted a place where the more experienced could chat and not affect those just starting out...since it is important to be so strict in the beginning.

Good luck
I sent you a PM....did you see it? I am doing a phase I/II combo....I think phase II is the same carbs/calories as phase I and I don't see any difference...weight loss is good.

You should be at goal by then. I am doing a phase I/II combo right now for the next 6-7 weeks and so far (last two) the scale is moving. Last week 4 pounds down.

Moving to phase 2 tomorrow, regardless of goal. Guess a few of us will be doing the same!

Good Morning all....Not sure if I can post over here but I'm so excited I just realized I'm at my goal weight!!! I am going to change it to go 5 more just in case I gain that back in the other phases as I've heard happens. Leaving to Canada in a couple hours for the weekend...Probably won't be 100% but this has been planned for a while. Will be back 100% on Monday.

I feel great and for the first time in my life can wear size 8 and it's not even skin tight...It's amazing. I was starting to get a little reclusive because I didn't like myself (weight) but now I feel renewed and full of energy.

I want to say how much I appreciate all you "experienced" IP'ers for all you great advice and inspiration..My coach wasn't well she just isn't, you know what I mean, so you guys were Priceless with your information and inspiration.

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!!

Great job...and so quick...it does feel good.

Have fun in Canada and worry about getting back on track when you come home.

The advice from the experienced is priceless for sure...I used so much last September and October...it really helped with my success.

Hey everyone,
so far so good , halfway through my second week again and doing well. Big hurdle today in the break room. We do fun things each month for our co workers and today (april fools day) my unit was in charge of the festivities. We had co workers on a savanger hunt for toast! It relates to us being "burned" out. anywhoo, after the hunt we had all sorts of sweets and stuff in our break room. I almost said what the ****, just indulge and get back on tomorrow. However, I put on a shirt this morning that I bought last summer at my smaller weight (almost there now) and it fit. So I just had my brocoli and a shake and watched everyone else indulge. It was hard at first but then I got engaged in conversation and it became easier. I cannot promise that i will pass every hurdle with the same grace or even at all, but I did for today!!! YAY ME!!!

Just wanted to clarify the post. I am not at 171. My last weigh in was 175 (this am I was at 174), so I am close but not there yet.

174 is still kick butt...I am 176...but I gave in to a bottle of red tonight (but was 100% on protocol today and I am skipping my snack tonight....the red has so little carbs and from past experience I know it will not knock me out of ketosis). I shared with the hubby along with filet and scallops for dinner. Yummy!

fortunatly for me I am not a big wine drinker so that is not my problem. I have been on plan today but it has been sooo hard. I am craving all sorts of naughty stuff. not sure why the cravings as I have been OP so should be in ketosis. Just gonna keep at it and hope for the best.

Yup went off plan Saturday night....with Mr. Atkins

Had more wine and hubby and I had a tray of goodies...cheeses, meats, and olives, with evoo and garlic. No dinner...just wine and the treats.

Woke up Sunday still in ketosis....and again this morning still in ketosis.

I will stay off the scale until later this week because of possible fluid retention from the wine (it always makes me retain)

When I phased off for my wedding last October, I did it in 2 weeks. My coach had me skip phase 2 and go directly into Phase 3. She told me that Phase 3 was the most critical part of phasing off as it's the phase that "restarts" your pancreas and must be done for at least 14 days.
It worked well for me to do it this way. Good luck!

Hello all, here is to another great week. So tomorrow will be my official week two weigh in (AGAIN). I am a constant weigher and I have only lost about a pound. The second week is always hard for me and I do not loose much. I am just gonna do my best and keep going. I am nervous as I have to go out of town on April 16-17th, I plan to stay on plan so we shall see how it goes. I have a cheat planned for May 14th so I want to stay op until then.

I was happy to have made it through another weekend with no cheats. it was hard for some reason, I wanted all sorts of stuff not on plan. I was pretty proud of myself that I did not give in

Thanks for all the support!!!

Bad me - it was my turn to cheat on saturday! Ate cashews, jellybeans, almonds, rice and tasted 2 special cakes I baked last week... with 1 1/2 glass of white wine also! Felt bad, tasted good but now back on track as phasing off progresses. Ate phase 2 yesterday and so far so good for today also. With phase 3 just around the corner (as of friday) will be a good OP girl all week!

Have a wonderful IP week everyone!
