  • Quote: Today is Day 10 of being back on plan. It is slow going, for sure. I finally dropped another pound after being stuck since last Friday.

I, too, am an "all or nothing" kind of person. Either I'm "on" my diet or "off," and when I'm off, look out.
When I go off plan....it takes about 7 days before that scale drops again, but then it starts dropping quickly. good luck the next few days...I am thinking good things for you.
  • Still going strong so far. feel so much better when I am op. I do not have heartburn, i do not feel tired, etc.
I am not sure why I continue to torture myself being off plan and cheating when it just makes me feel crappy. sure it seems worth it at the time but then the fall out happens. I am not saying I will never cheat again, just some thoughts.

I am so happy that you are on your second good week and I hope that scale keeps moving.

I think it is all about changing our mentality from the "all or nothing" to somewhere in between. I really feel like I am learning that as I lose these last pounds. I could not cheat and be there quickly or I can learn how to have cheat days and weekends and get right back on plan. So far I have had one planned cheat night, one planned cheat week, and one planned cheat weekend (over 2.5 months) and I have recovered by getting back on plan the next day. Each time it has gotten easier to get right back on. Man I hope I can keep this up for the rest of my life....I have to!

Now I too have to make it to the second week. If I can get past day 5 or 6 it will be smooth sailing....today is day 4. Not sure how the scale reads from my cheat (planned) on Saturday, but I will know this weekend (giving myself a few days for recovery.

    KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK....
  • Thanks Darbs7!!! good luck
  • So excited...I hit 70 pounds down this morning. So I have recovered nicely from my cheat this weekend (planned)....I am actually down an additional .8 from when I left last Friday! Yippeee...

Good work! I am glad you have found a method/plan that will suit your needs and wants. I am a firm believer with knowledge and understanding of this protocol, changes can be made to tailor this to us individually. A very thourough understanding needs to be had though before branching out. You are doing great, you will be at your goal in no time. Keep at it!
  • congrats darbs. It feels so good to make the 70lbs down and other goals like that, whether 10lb, 25, or 50lbs. I know I had a great goal this week, I did lose soem weight but the real goal was I finally weighed less than my husband. That felt really good. Know if I could get past all the stressfull days and nights of school. The end of the semester really can bit. lol. And it is making me want to bite things that are not on protocol.

I wish everyone a successful day to day.

Fantastic darbs! I'll be going into phase 2 in another 11 days and I have to admit I am a little worried.

    Addy,

Don't be worried about Phase 2, you have done so well on this program, you are truly an inspiration! You will do very well in the next phases based on how well you have done so far. New territory can be worrisome, but trust me, you'll be fine. It is not much different from PH 1, and I bet you like the choices. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. I know there is a "good-bye PH 1, hello PH 2 thread out there somewhere, you may find it helpful!

    Awesome NSV!!!!
I know I couldn't wait to weigh less than my hubby

I weighed 182 the beginning of February and he weighed 183. I am now seven pounds less than him and have been for awhile. Now I want to weigh tons less than him...

YOu have done an amazing job....you will be fine. You are an inspiration really with all the weight you have lost. I wouldn't worry about phase 2. I have been following a phase 1/2 format for a few weeks and the scale has started moving again. 3-4 days a week I have chicken on my salad instead of a shake a lunch.

    cheers to your continued success
  • I had decided no matter what weight I was at April 1 - I would start phase 2 on April 1st. So tomorrow I officially will be in phase 2! Need to get transitioned over by the end of the month.
  • Congratulations, Darbs!
  • i've been wondering where all of you had went! i get my 3 month status in about 8 days, so i will see you guys in here then. i thought i was going crazy and i couldn't figure out why everyone that i knew had disappeared while i was on vacation.
  • it looks like a few of us will be starting phase II this coming month, I dont start untill you all finish so you will have to let me know how it goes.

    Good luck
  • The scale is finally moving in the right direction! Down 6 pounds and 3 1/2 inches. Now I am having trouble eating all that I am suppose to. It feels so good to be back at it!
