TIA

Sheila

I ordered my GWF from their website gowearfit I got the best deal I could find at that time, I got the display and went with a 12 month subscription.

I also love the display because of the trip feature, I use that part all the time.

I am envious of those of you with a high calorie burn.
My goal is set at 2200 per day and I really have to work to get that -- if I do nothing else that day, I have to do at least 8 miles on a treadmill.

I have definitely upped my calorie intake since getting the BB. Before, i held myself to 1500 and now am allowing myself 1900 or so.
At 5'6" and 126 pounds, I dont think I want to lose any more.
I'm pretty careful about what I eat, but right now the difference between 1900 i eat and 2200 i burn keep me losing a half pound or so a week.

BB is a wonderful tool.
I have gotten used to the food tool and now that I have all my usual stuff entered, it is really easy to use.
It provides feedback and accountability that is WONDERFUL!!!
I dont think I will ever put on weight again.
If mine broke tomorrow, I would rush to replace it.
and I love the display. Since I have to work so hard to burn, i need the daily feedback to keep moving.

Congrats Ceebee on your success!

I was hoping to increase my calories now that I have reached my goal...I average a 2300 daily burn, sometimes 2600...I noticed that you said you increased your calories. I want to but am afraid of regaining. Did you gain anything back by uping your calories? I lost at 1300-1500 and want to increase to at least 1700. I appreciate your input :)

They said they would contact me in 48 hours if they can fix it or I have to send it back-at my own expense!! Ahhhh!!!!!

I would let them know that you need a shipping label emailed to you from them so THEY can cover the cost of your faulty BB! (They will also likely extend your subscription for a few months, for your trouble).

My target is 2200cal burn per day. I just looked and my actual burn has been averaging about 2400 over the last 30 days.
When i started the BB journey i weighed 155 and was eating at 1500 cal per day. I am now 125.8 (this morning). Since I got to about 135, I have switched from 1500 cal per day to 1800 cal per day.
I've had a couple of plateaus between 135 and 125, but I wouldnt say any gain.
I'm trying to figure out how to stabilize at about 125 pound.
Nothing is exact -- not BB or calories in no matter how careful we think we are.
so -- right now -- I am burning (per BB) at 2400 cal per day and trying to eat 1800 cal per day. this nets out to me actually burning almost 4 pounds over the last 6 weeks. Cant decide whether to up the input or down the output in order to make the two stabalize an settle at a weight.

Thanks! Great idea. I tried to call back today since the 48 hours is over but I get a busy signal. :(

I'd tell you but the bodybugg site is down for maintenance!

Nah... It is going well though since I've been back on track with wearing it again (I took it off around the holidays) I've lost 2lbs pretty much every week, and I'm on track to lose another 2 this week. Scale says 183 a few hours ago hoping for 182 in the morning. Getting excited/impatient to hit the 170s.

Nothing wrong with pizza and wings every once in awhile. :)

Been doing well since getting over stomach flu and bronchitis. Hoping to hit 15 pounds lost when I weigh in later today.

Well I have only had mine for 2 weeks and I am noticing that I do not have a "normal" week! The first week was Mardi Gras, kids and hubby home for 5 days so you can imagine I did not get all my workouts in. So this week was going better but my kids all got the stomach virus! So after a week of clean all them up I got it on Friday night and all day Sat. I am feeling better.
Maybe weeks like this are just my norm.

PeanutsMom704 02-21-2010 11:00 AM

Mine is supposed to arrive on Tuesday so I hope to be officially joining you on Wednesday, assuming I can figure it all out and get it set up Tuesday night when I get home from work!

Gretchenpdx 02-21-2010 11:27 PM

I have been maintaining as I have been valuing having a bit more food over success, for some reason.

I need to figure out how to get my "fire" back.

Still working out/lifting weights and tracking all my food via BB, and the #'s are fair (I have a smaller deficit than I should and do not lose, that could be due to food logging errors on my part and the BB 10% factor). I KNOW what I need to do (eat less), I just don't do it consistently lately (for a few months).

***
I have NOT been gaining though, so that is GREAT. Just need to get "back in the game".

19Deltawifey 02-22-2010 09:59 AM

I need to eat less also and create a bigger deficit so I can have more wiggle room on the weekends when I'm sedentary. Plus my last day of work is Wednesday and I will have more time to workout

jamleigh78 02-22-2010 07:11 PM

Yay finally have my BB up and running! This is day 2 with it and I am loving it!!

sheilahtn 02-22-2010 08:13 PM

I received my Gowear Fit today and I am charging it as I type. Hope to join you in the weigh in Wednesday if I can get it up and going.

Yay the more the merrier (sp?).

Today I burned the most amount of cals since wearing the BB. My expected total for today is a little over 3000 if I remain sedetary for the rest of the day woohoo. I did about 30 mins of cardio interval traning at the gym and lifted weights. Then watched the Dog Whisperer at home while walking 2.0 mph with a 2.0 incline for 1 hour. I told myself I can't watch the show unless I walk while watching it. It wasnt that hard and it was a comfortable pace. It feels like the first 2 weeks of me having the BB I was trying to figure out what worked and now I see what I have to do which is have a 700-1000 calorie deficit instead of the 300-500 deficit that I have been doing.

HOpefully everyone else is having a good day.
