I weighted in this morning for the challenge. It has been 2 weeks since I last weighed...I lost 6 pounds! I am happy with that :-) According to my average deficit I should have lost 7 pounds, and according to my exact deficit for the past 2 weeks I should have lost 8 pounds. (which I know isn't a "healthy" loss for 2 weeks) Now I can't remember for sure how I weighed 2 weeks ago clothed or not..LOL. So with all clothes on this morning I was down 6 pounds with my sweat pants off I was down 8, which is right on with my GWF! I plan on sticking with clothes on for my weigh ins here on out. I also think I am going to try and up my calorie intake a bit...a few times my deficit was well over 2000 the past 2 weeks...I just don't want my body going into starvation mode... Thanks to all of you that replied to my question yesterday about the deficit thing and calories that you eat. I think I am going to add a cheese stick, peanut butter, milk and some almonds here and there through the day on some days to make my deficit closer to 1000-1500. Since starting with my GWF on Jan 11 I have lost 15 pounds :-) |

I just got my gowear fit yesterday! When I got home, the first thing I did was tear into the box and set everything up. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be, but it's really thin so it's still not bulky. I'm wearing it right now and I'm really excited to get home and plug it in and see what it says about my day!
The only question I have is about the strap. I weigh 218 pounds, so it's not like I didn't know I had fat arms..but putting on the strap makes it super obvious. The strap that was included fits ok, but unless I have it on really tight (think the arm version of a muffin top) it feels like it's going to fall off. I have it loosened more than I did this morning because it was to the point where my arm felt choked.. but it's still tight enough to leave a little red stripe on my arm where the band has been. Am I wearing it correctly or should it be looser? I guess I'm mostly just afraid it's gonna come off when I sleep. I really wanna see what my sleep efficiency is, so I hope it stays put! |
Well I've been wearing my BB for about 3 hours now and Im still noticing that its there I guess my arm isn't used to it yet. I set it up and everything and figured out how to log my food in one lump sum on the BB site. I track calories using sparkpeople, Ive been doing that for months consistently so I plan on logging in my total amount of calories into the BB site. Its good because I would hate to have to log the same food on both sites. I set my deficit at 500 cals a day, I get to eat 2000 cals like I have been doing. I can't wait to see how many cals I burn in a 24 hour period
