Been up since 5 AM once again. Everyone who had a holiday yesterday should remember that this is a four day week so you need to work 125% today. I just love being retired!

Today is my Disney's first anniversary - she's a Katrina rescue. We are going to celebrate with ground beef for dinner. I think she is already celebrating as she and Jazz are ripping around the house having a play fight.

I'm up now. I'm not over-sleeping on my own time.

I wish I could find a job that would pay me to sleep. The perfect hours would be from 11pm - 7 am. $15/hour sounds fair. No paper work, no nasty customers, and hopefully no bosses watching over you cause that would just be creepy! And of course there would be no salary loss for cases of insomnia. LOL

my to-do list is big enough to cover the whole front of the refrigerator

I think I'll just go back to bed.

So, do you ever add stupid, piddly little things to your list just so you can't scratch them off to get a sense of accomplishment?

Yeah, ronni. I had to take a bunch of stuff and put in on my notebook so that I would have more room on my dry erase board.

Oh yes! And one of the reasons I hate housework so much is that every week you go around the same endless treadmill of the same chores as last week and last month and last year on the to-do list. Blech!

Especially, if you have kids or a man around.

I think they are really one and the same anyways.
