I just got home from watching my daughter do her first marathon. Her IT Band was really hurting slowing her pace and causing her to stretch at each mile. She was 45 minutes off her pace but all in all did well for her, 5 hrs. and 18 minutes.
EZ, your daughter rocks for having completed that marathon in spite of the ouchies. At such a point the time she runs it in is no longer important, the sheer grit and determination are awesome!
