Hello all!

It's almost bedtime but I thought I would come and at least log in for a minute. It sounds like everyone here is busy and doing well. I went out for dinner tonight with co-workers to say good bye to one of them. It's hard to see a good employee go but life does go on. I ate a bit too much but I am proud to say I took half of it home and it's waiting in the fridge for my dinner tomorrow night.

Gary: I pray all goes well at the wedding. Have fun! It's such a special day! We want to see pictures!!!

Sue: I'm so glad you're popping in so often. I don't do it often enough. Glad to hear things are well with you.

Rachel: 4 lbs. You're doing awesome! Keep it up!!

Crystal: I know what it's like to lose a parent. I lost my mom when I was 13 but only lost my dad a year ago. Even though we know they're not suffering anymore we still miss them and wish they could be here with us. Dwell on the good memories you have of your mom and she'll always be close to you.

Have a good night!

Morning Everyone,

Thanks for the prayers for my son's thumb. My daughter scraped her elbow up pretty badly in a skateboard accident so she wants your prayers too. I hope this wedding goes well for E.Z. Those dancing critters are cute Wilma.
How are you Crystal?

Good news, I went to the gym this morning. Yeah me! I feel good now. I have to go change and do some errands and get a load of wash done before the little ones get here.

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. My name is Tracy and I am what you would call a baby Christian. (2 years as of August) It is wonderful to see a thread like this. I want to type in certain 'Christian' things on the other threads, but I didn't want to sound too preachy. Rachel, I will pray for fast, scar free healing for your daughters scrapes. I have two boys age 7 and 9 who have skateboards and boy do I know about scrapes.

It is only my 3rd day on this site and on weight watchers, so I am still feeling my way around both things. I need a lot of encouragement this week because I am craving everything under the sun. Any food looks good at this point. I know that I will just need to open my bible whenever I feel the need to eat and find a scripture on patience, self-control or the temple. Right now, my temple has some extra bricks and mortar that aren't part of the original building plans. LOL I need a contractor in here to fix it. As you can see, I love to use laughter in all situations. It makes life more pleasant.

Take care all and I will write again soon. I have to go shop for the boys for Christmas. There are 4 toys they want on sale till Friday(tomorrow) only. One of them is half price. Yeehah. I love bargains.

Hello everyone,

This is my first posting in this forum. I thought I'd come over and introduce myself. I'm new to dieting although in times past I've "starved" myself to lose weight and it always came off. A few years ago, though, I started to gain weight and we're talking serious damaging weight gain... *sigh* Now I'm having the roughest time losing it. I have just started dieting and I'm still undecided on what diet to do. I want to eat healthy but I know I need to watch the sugars, fats, and carbs. I've started walking and going to the gym and feel pretty good about my exercise levels. Now, I just need to drop some serious weight. Any tips or support will help!

Morning all,

Hi sugarbaby and Tracy. I have been here for a little over a week. I have lost four pounds. I keep a close eye on my calories. I try not to go over 1500. If I do, I shake it off and start over the next day. Exercise is great. It only burns off a few hundred calories so don't overeat on the days you exercise.

Nothing else is going on. I took a couple of kids to school with the two toddlers in their car seats. Then we ran out of milk at breakfast so I had to stop at the convenience store and get the two toddlers out and go into the store. Great work for the arms. LOL

Anyway, everyone have a good day.

Just a quick note before I go to church. I took the day off from calorie counting yesterday. I went a little crazy with the chocalate. We went to Ames, IA for my son's All-State concert. He's in the top 1.7% of musicians in the state of Iowa. He was in the chorus. It was stressful because we didn't know where to pick up our tix and my husband was late because he helped our friend take her child to the hospital. She has a staff infection on her butt. Anyway, we were having an intense discussion, argument, while waiting to get inside the building. When the lady behind us bent her head over to look at something and her wig fell off! Sarah and I looked at each other while hubby was talking and and started laughing. The wig had bounced off of Sarah's back. That is one way to cut the tension of the moment. It was a good concert. We got back at one o'clock, so we are all dragging this morning. We are having a baptism so I wonder if we will have Sunday school seeing as how we are rehearsing for the Christmas program.

Have a good Sunday ya'll. I will too. I have to stop at Wal-mart and buy diapers for the business. Nice pics of the rehearsal E.Z. everybody looks happy.

As you can see by the time I can't sleep! I have a bit of a head cold and it seems to be keeping me up. I have taken a holiday day tomorrow so at least I don't have to work. I plan to get some Christmas shopping done and just relax. I've been really busy at work and am beginning to feel the strain so a day off before I start training a new employee is just what I need.

It sounds like everyone here is doing well, keeping busy, etc. As we head into the Christmas season I know I need to be more aware of what I'm eating and try to make healthy choices.

I want to wish my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for!!

Have a good week!

Morning everyone,

This is the weekly weight update. Sounds like a news show doesn't it. Well, I have lost another 3 pounds. I will be babysitting in another twenty minutes. This one is my bully. She got into a fight with the neighbor girl and another one of my kids yesterday. She kicked the neighbor girl in the eye and had a slap fight with the daycare kid. Sigh. I think I'll just keep her inside for awhile.

I went to pick up my daughter from a sleepover in my pajamas this morning. No time to change. LOL. Hubby is back from his trip to Kansas. He says he is never doing that again. He has said that before but he has been there four times now.

I need to go to Wal-mart today and get some ZiCam. I am feeling a cold coming on too. All the kids had runny noses this week.

Well, I've got to go and get this day started. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Don't eat too much. LOL

HI GALS ~

I have a couple of minutes this morning to catch up a little.

The wedding went very well, except for the fact that the power went out in church 5 minutes before the wedding Which meant the kids slide show they had put together showing them from birth to now wasn't shown and the fact that the wedding party was extrememly warm in their gowns and tux'es...me too! It was your typical November day here ~ in the 70's! The power in our church neighborhood has been giving us trouble for a couple of weeks but we thought that it was handled...oh, well...since that was the WORST that happened we feel very blessed for sure!!

The week-end wasn't without excitement though, I left work early on Friday so I wouldn't be late for the rehearsal and dinner, only to be plowed into from behind in Los Angeles...my truck was driveable and the kid that hit me had insurance and THANK GOD we were all OK...but it is still $4,700.00 damage to my truck and shook me up for a few days...I was able to get home in time for the rehersal and all is well.

The reception went great as well, we were near the bar so us guys and Nicole were able to sneak in from time to time to see USC beat CAL

Ryan has pretty well moved all of his stuff out of the house that he is going to take. He called me yesterday to say that their condo is looking very nice with all the new "stuff". They were surprised at how much they were able to give to Goodwill after combining their things.

Our Thanksgiving was great, but a small crowd for us. We have been having around 30 for the last few years. this year my ex stayed at her S.O. house, Amanda and Zac went to Yosemite with his family and Ryan's friends were all exhausted from a week of "partying"! It was just the newlyweds, Angie and I and Ron and Lara...nice but quiet... well, it's NEVER QUIET around here with Ron and the dogs!!

RACHEL~Great to see you sticking around. Thank-you for the prayers for the newlyweds. Sorry about the bully kid...my goodness..my nephew used to be like that, there was a lot of "stuff" going on in his house. Great job by your son and his music ~ there is some music talent in our family as well, Angie plays bells at church, Lara plays the piano and I play the radio!

AUNT SUE~ I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and got in a lot of shopping too! I hope all is going well with your "plans'. Lara is here for the week with the wedding and Thanksgiving she said she is soooo happy to be able to wear shorts.

WILMA~ I hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the well wishes for Thanksgiving. How is the challenge going?

Well, outta here for awhile...going to start putting up Christmas lights today and load the CD player with Christmas music...we have so many Christmas CD's.....I just love it! Just got a new one last week from Third DAY...OUTSTANDING!!!

Enjoy your week-end!!

WORSHIP!!!!
