HI GALS ~
I have a couple of minutes this morning to catch up a little.
The wedding went very well, except for the fact that the power went out in church 5 minutes before the wedding

Which meant the kids slide show they had put together showing them from birth to now wasn't shown and the fact that the wedding party was extrememly warm in their gowns and tux'es...me too! It was your typical November day here ~ in the 70's! The power in our church neighborhood has been giving us trouble for a couple of weeks but we thought that it was handled...oh, well...since that was the WORST that happened we feel very blessed for sure!!
The week-end wasn't without excitement though, I left work early on Friday so I wouldn't be late for the rehearsal and dinner, only to be plowed into from behind in Los Angeles...my truck was driveable and the kid that hit me had insurance and THANK GOD we were all OK...but it is still $4,700.00 damage to my truck and shook me up for a few days...I was able to get home in time for the rehersal and all is well.
The reception went great as well, we were near the bar so us guys and Nicole were able to sneak in from time to time to see USC beat CAL
Ryan has pretty well moved all of his stuff out of the house that he is going to take. He called me yesterday to say that their condo is looking very nice with all the new "stuff". They were surprised at how much they were able to give to Goodwill after combining their things.
Our Thanksgiving was great, but a small crowd for us. We have been having around 30 for the last few years. this year my ex stayed at her S.O. house, Amanda and Zac went to Yosemite with his family and Ryan's friends were all exhausted from a week of "partying"! It was just the newlyweds, Angie and I and Ron and Lara...nice but

quiet... well, it's NEVER QUIET around here with Ron and the dogs!!
RACHEL~Great to see you sticking around. Thank-you for the prayers for the newlyweds. Sorry about the bully kid...my goodness..my nephew used to be like that, there was a lot of "stuff" going on in his house. Great job by your son and his music ~ there is some music talent in our family as well, Angie plays bells at church, Lara plays the piano and I play the radio!
AUNT SUE~ I hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family and got in a lot of shopping too! I hope all is going well with your "plans'. Lara is here for the week with the wedding and Thanksgiving she said she is soooo happy to be able to wear shorts.
WILMA~ I hope you are feeling better. Thanks for the well wishes for Thanksgiving. How is the challenge going?
Well, outta here for awhile...going to start putting up

Christmas lights today and load the CD player with Christmas music...we have so many Christmas CD's.....I just love it! Just got a new one last week from Third DAY...OUTSTANDING!!!
Enjoy your week-end!!
WORSHIP!!!!
