Today I met my new primary care doctor and Monday I will meet my new oncologist. Pray for a good relationship in each case.
I need to ask for prayer for my brother. He's battling depression, alcohol, and anxiety disorder. Please pray for him that he gets the help he needs before it's too late and he loses his job, family, or his life. I can't bear the thought of losing him or seeing him suffer. Thank you

BARGOO prayers continue as you change doctors...having to leave my family doctor after 15 years last year was difficult as he was such a wonderful man to my ENTIRE family...but due to insurance changes we could no longer afford him. Angie and I did get a wonderful replacement by the grace of God! I hope the same for you!
I didn't see this thread until after I posted my own with a prayer request, but I will post my request here too.
This week I noticed a small lump on my armpit hadn't gone away. It is pea sized. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday. In the meantime, I'm driving myself crazy with worry that it might be cancer. I'm only 23, so I don't know how likely it is. It's been there for a few weeks. It is normal for me to get bumps on my armpits after I shave. They typically pop and go away. This one hasn't popped, but did come up after I shaved a few weeks ago (I think). I've also been really sick with a cold and bronchitis for the last 3 weeks, so I don't know if my lymph node could be swollen because of that. I also have been getting bumps on my thighs and chin, due to PCOS I believe as I've seen that other PCOSers have experienced the same thing, and they also get them under their arms. So it could also be that, I suppose. It isn't very sore, just a very little bit.
Regardless, I'm driving myself crazy with worry that it's cancer!
I just wanted to request prayers that it isn't anything serious. If you all could remember me in your prayers, I would greatly greatly appreciate it.

Yammy, for your own peace of mind call back and change your appointment to Friday, no later than Monday. They can do that for you. I had the same story a few years back, I called back and asked to be seen sooner, they said yes they would work me in.

And I hate to ask for myself, but I could use a few prayers sent my own way to possibly help me come out of the problems at work on top. The stress is not helping me stay on the healthy lifestyle bandwagon.
