THAT'S RIGHT, GARY ~ after prayer ... hugging & listening is the best thing right now. You never forget, but time heals the pain & disappointment somewhat. Thank goodness, she's young -- and can try again in the near future. ^Prayers^ on the way for Ginny, Chad, Kyle, and family ...
Need prayers for my brother battling what I think may be PTSD, anxiety, and alcoholism. He uses alcohol to cope with his anxiety after losing both my parents within 2 years of each other, both of whom we cared for at home. My Dad and us took care of my mom, then my dad had three strokes back to back, landing them both in a nursing home. We took care of them for four years before the strokes happened, and once they passed, my brother started drinking. He knows he's an alcoholic, and tonight or tomorrow is supposed to be checking himself in somewhere. He hides alcohol, but can't stop drinking and hiding it, although he'll tell you to your face that he's an alcoholic. He just can't stop. Please pray for him. He's my only sibling and has his own family with two small children. We're all trying to support him to save his life and his family. Thank you.
Ursula, praying for your brother that He will get the help he needs. Just saying he is an alcoholic will not get him sober. He needs to WANT to stop drinking.
Thought that I would give you this update about Brian... He is at home and his Mom says he continues to get better but it is a slow process. Thanks again for all the prayers.
A 69-year-old North Hampton man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident on Epping Road earlier this month that seriously injured a 21-year-old bicyclist
“There is no doubt that investigators believe he was drinking before the accident, but due to the fact that we weren't able to talk to him after the accident, there won't be any DWI charges coming out of this arrest,” Exeter Police Chief Richard Kane said.
Swaine's back was broken and he received serious head injuries as a result of the accident. Swaine has since been released from the hospital and is recuperating from his injuries at home,
Please pray for me that this time, maybe I'll finally be able to make a dent in my weight loss. Also, please pray for my friend, who just lost his mother last night.
