I have a prayer request. . . my husbands job has been quite unstable. The place that he works is not run well not and him almost losing his job has become a weekly occurrence. Not only would we like for him to get a more stable job, but one that pays a little more too. I know this sounds selfish, but let me explain. . . . My husband and I just got married and we would LOVE to start a family (he's 25, I'm 24). At what we both make combined, we would not be able to afford to have a child at this point. I reaaally feel like having a child and being a stay at home mom is truly my calling in life. We'd like for him to be able to have a good paying job, with benefits (something that his current job doesn't offer, but thank God, mine does) so that I wouldn't have to work and so that we may be able to have kids. Thank you so much in advance for the prayers

We would appreciate prayers about our living situation: our landlord sold the building to another party & there are big problems (like rudeness & excessive noise all hours of the night, etc; and they want to increase the rent too). URGENT PRAYER REQUEST PLEASE ~ I received 2 requests for prayer today; both persons are dealing with lots of depression and stress in their lives right now.
The first one you know already ~ is my AUNT PAT, who lost her husband (Tom) last summer. Like RONNI, she is having to do her husband's taxes so she has to go through all his stuff and that is so upsetting for her; and since he had a business, it is much more complicated. Plus, she has to sell off his assets this summer and the auctioneer is coming this weekend -- again more reminders and stress. Of course, this just brings the grieving and sorrow back to the forefront for her as well. I know you all understand and will lift her in prayer during this very trying time in her life ...
The second one is a long-time friend of mine ~ her name is CAROL P and has suffered a lot of abuse in her childhood (very dysfunctional family) and in her marriage (she is now seperated but still in touch with her DH becuz of a child). She is also dealing with severe depression and some self-abuse issues & suicidal thoughts (not action though). Some people just put themselves down, but others go further; so I always encourage her to get help from her doctor and she is, and she is getting counselling too; but both say that the meds they are on don't help. They are both Christians and need GOD's love and peace poured into their hearts & minds & souls, so they can be well again.
I appreciate your prayers a lot; they really need them at this time. I am hoping that group prayers will help them even more. Thanks so much ...

My daughter and her family are in great danger at this moment. There is a large fire on 3 sides of their town, Marfa Texas only one way out of town at the moment. I told her to get out of town and she said two people or missing that are good friends and we have to find them, before we leave. I told her at least get one of the kids or all 4 and get them to get everything ready to leave. She is at the fire department helping feed the crew fighting and people in need. If the wind changes which is suppose to do it could burn the town of Marfa up. She said that it had hit Fort Davis and was burning houses up there now. As for as they know no-one has been killed which is a blessing.
At 8:20 PM Fort Davis officals indicate at least 7 structures destroyed, many more homes in danger. There is 0% containment on this wild fire. Firefighters are now battling to save homes in Fort Davis. There is no power in Fort Davis and the hydrants are running dry. A fire break is set up northwest of Marfa - in Brite Ranch. Hwy 17 closed hwy 118 closed the fire is migrated north to Wild Rose Pass and on its way Balmorhea. At 1:50 PM a woman seen her neighbors house burst into flames 1.5 miles west of Marfa.
This is a bad wild fire, when the wind changes I just don't rightly know where it is going to head. My daughter seems to think it will head toward the town of Marfa. The thing is they really have no water to fight it with ,it has not rained out there since last November.
