I've got 104 kilometers walked (65 miles).
I was going to do some jogging as well but it's hard with so many layers of clothing and yaktrax on my shoes so I'm waiting for spring before I jog.

I've always wondered what it would be like with the yaktrax on -- living in Florida I don't have the chance to find out!

I didnt like running with the yaktrax here but we never had the right kind of snow. You need dense packed snow for them to be really effective for running. Plus as I discovered I am more of a heel striker than I thought and that does NOT work with the yaks. If I lived in a consistantly snowy climate I would have to put some effort into forefoot striking.

By the way my friend is still doing the one more mile...into the heart of it now.
This is what his running log looks like. Today is down because he usually breaks it up into 2-3 runs, it will be 20 by the end of the day

I don't see the link to his log. Your log, however, is quite impressive. 166 miles in last 30 days? NICE.

Yeah I had pasted an image of his chart but it dissappeared after a few minutes,
here it is
I'm hoping for 200 miles a month this year. I need to catch up a bit this month to do it and April will be tough with marathon taper & recovery, but I had a couple 230 mile months before. Hopefully all will go well!
