SM177: If only I had control. I just noticed your weight changed, how did you break through your plateau. I've been so comfortable, lately I'm maintaining not really losing or counting calories for that matter.
Jackie -- I can't really say exactly what it was. I stopped dieting and just kind of eating whatever but within reason. I also started walking a lot more, probably 5-10 miles more a week. Overall I'm kind of confused about why it happened, I hate not being able to pinpoint what did it. I might go back to counting calories because I'm realizing this last 10 pounds really has to go. Do you still want to lose weight?
SM177: I do want to get down to 115 just because that was my revised goal although I'm not sure if it'll make that much of a difference. I guess I'm concerned that if I'm not losing then I'm gaining and as long as I keep "dieting" then I won't go back to what I used to be.
Wow everyone here is doing an amazing job! I have 935 miles to go this year- Tues was not too wonderful, only 2.5 miles, and yesterday I logged 3.25 miles. I need to try to increase my mileage to 5 miles on the majority of days.
7.76 miles for me, I reallllly wanted to do a long run but my body isn't allowing me, I'm just in so much pain and I think I'll have to take a few days off. It's so frustrating, I've fallen inlove with running and I can't imagine not doing it. Tonight I went to a quieter area of the city and turned off my music and just listened to my feet hitting the pavement, it felt amazing!
River -- It may not be the layoff so much - your muscles may still be tired out after your first 10K, too. It's a very temporary phenomenon, you'll bounce back before you know it!
Thanks for the encouragement. I ran tues/wed/thurs/sat and every one felt hard. Today I'm going to do 5 miles and hope it feels smoother.

19 miles for me this week too! Not including dog walking miles.
Also my dad did a 30km today and I woke up extra early to drive out and watch him. He finished in 2:09 with an average pace of 6:55 min/mile. For a 44 year old man it isn't too bad! My goal is to beat him one day!
