I forgot to post here yesterday when I posted my Blarney Stone 5k results!
6.5 miles yesterday! Finally made it past the 5 mile mark! (The .5 is really just extra because it is the distance I have to walk from overflow parking to the park itself... )
So for the week that is 22 more miles. That means I've done 43 miles so far, and have 957 more to go this year. Cannot wait till I get that ticker, I need to post a bit more.
4.66. I'm having some intense shin splints so I've only been doing short runs. But I've been 30 minutes on the bike after running to try and compensate. I'm so paranoid about losing my edge!
I'm thinking of doing a full marathon in September, what do you ladies think?

ETA: I think one of my problems with my shoes is actually my socks.... I wore what I thought were my good socks Tuesday for the first time post surgery (they got put in the wrong drawer, just found them) and tingly feet... Went back to the other socks today, no tingly... do they make thin, comfy running socks? These are irritating my feets a little...
