I ran 2 miles, but I was wearing some reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllllly old and worn out shoes that sliced up the back of my ankle. It really hurts now, and the bleeding didn't stop until about half an hour ago...
I'm gonna take it easy tomorrow.
My feet hurt on your behalf.

OH I wish you luck but I know what you're facing . My gym and classes have been ****.
Just 2.21 walking tonight. My knee is feeling twitchy. I think I'm going to hold off on runs until I get new shoes on Saturday.
Finally walked my kids home from school today, so an extra two miles for me. I've decided I can't, ok let's be honest ~won't~ walk if it's below 40°. Just not gonna happen.
4.5 miles at the park today. It was a sunny, no wind 49 degrees, I had on a wool cap and gloves. They came off sooner today than Monday, so maybe as I build running endurance I'll also build a tolerance for being out in the chilly weather...
6.5 miles. I'm really starting to loathe the treadmill and reallllly miss outdoor running. With the treadmill I can't decipher whether I'm tired or just painfully bored...

I think its the boredom, I lasted 2.10 miles today on my reluctant return to the treadmill. I felt great physically but mentally I just couldn't keep going. I'm proud of my effort though, tomorrow another treadmill run. I'm unwilling to go out in single digit weather, even a crazy runner person has to draw the lines somewhere.
2 more miles for me today. Problem is, if I walk in the morning I don't want to walk at night too, and vice versa. Man I'm lazy. Oh well, the laziness was developed over many years, so I guess the fact I'm exercising 6 days a week is certainly better than nothing. Anyway, should be at 20 miles by the end of the week.
