  • 2 on the treadmill today. Wow...I am seriously stunned by how many miles I've done so far! (Mostly because I've never kept track so thoroughly before.) I am loving this goal!!
  • I finished up the 3 day weekend with 15 1/2 miles (3 days combined : ) - Happy Birthday Dr. King!
  • I've been slacking lately because of my boredom with the treadmill, but 5.3 miles today and some on the weekend that I previously added to my ticker. I'm considering waking up early to do a short run on the treadmill, then do another one at night to ease my boredom. Anyways, everyone's doing great! This thread is really keeping me on top of things
  • I did a quick 3 miler on Friday, ran a 10K on Saturday, and nice 10 miler long run on Sunday. That brings me to 71.6 running miles so far. We also went kayaking for another 5.9 miles -- that's 23.4 paddling miles so far for a total of 95 miles!
  • Quote: Another 10.16 miles for me today.
Awesome, I can't do that kind of distance on a treadmill either. Great job!
  • I'm still plugging away at mine. I actually didn't track everything I did last week, but did about 3 miles every day -walking mostly. Did a 2 mile walk yesterday afternoon and then a 2 mile run last night.

I've been getting side cramps lately, but I know(think) it's not from dehydration because I've been drinking a ton of water. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, the snow has been coming down in ridiculous amounts and the sidewalks aren't being maintained very well so I've resigned myself to running indoors. The one consolation is I can feel all four extremities at the same time which is a real treat.

    Another 8.69 for me today.
  • I know I'm jumping in late, but I just started working out again on Sunday (after starting my diet a week before) and I want to kick myself in the butt, so I'm in for 800 miles. Hopefully I can surpass that. I'll be doing that by brisk walking and biking, and possibly the elliptical. I'm 9 miles in after 2 days! I'll add the ticker once I reach my 20 days.

I'm excited to have a goal! Woohoo!

I'm finding this goal to be a wonderful spur to working out! Welcome!
  • Thanks ladies!
  • +3.75 miles this afternoon in the wind.

56.44 miles down.... just 943.56 miles to go. Ha.
  • Hey MaryEllen!

+3.33 today. It is CHILLY outside. Love my new shoes though!
  • 2 walking miles today.
Hoping for a double outside run tomorrow. One nice thing about the treadmill, I have been able to challenge myself to go faster than I've ever gone. (even if it is for very short periods)

OK, just took a good look at ticker. If I want to stay on track, I need about 40 miles in 10 days??!! all in good time....

ETA bad math I need 20 miles in 10 days.. do-able
  • 5 done today. i cursed several people out and diid some beeching and yelling all the way to work (in my head that is... well maybe a little out loud to myself)
and now I feel a i bit more human.

    running-- my therapy
