    hahaha.. yeah.. i think im going to start getting lost more often when im jogging... but I will make sure to head out BEFORE night begins to fall!

    Sometimes when i start out before a good warm up my joint when my leg attached to my.. uhh torso i guess gets a sharp pain in it.. like a kink or something.. running through it usually helps.. after it gives out first.. haha

    I squeezed out a mile WATP jogging today. Had a LONG niht last. never got to sleep until 8am.. Sheesh! lol Hope to log in some good milage tomorrow... it BETTER be nice enough out to run! lol

  • Well i went out for a run today.. all pumped for a good long one and about a mile in i got horrble kinks in my sides. ON BOTH SIDES! crazy! i tried stretching them out and stuff.. but they were bad ones.. so i had to cut my run short. i hope to make up for it tomorrow. I got a mile running and a mile walking in. At least it's somethin... lol
  • Yesterday I was going to run but then I used the excuse that it was snowing and really, I am afraid of slipping before my Yaktraks come in. So I did some "stairmaster work" on my stairs in the house. I did every other step going up for 15 mins. My BUTT HURTS today. Then...LOL...I was desperate I jogged in place (and really did get my heart rate up!) for 20 mins while watching football. I figured it beat sitting on my butt watching the game. Then I also shoveled the driveway and sidewalk of snow. That wasn't too bad because it was light and fluffy. Today it was thick and icy and it took me 2 hours to clear! So no running for me today. My butt REALLY hurts. I like that stair routine. Oh, and I lifted freeweights last night.

    I am almost embarrassed how much my desire to move my ticker along to get to 1000 miles is inspiring me to get my butt out the door and get some miles done.
  • I did my 4.9 mile loop twice today for a total of 9.8. Mile 8 was tough and the that Alicia Keys song Superwoman came on, its the first time I've ever run with it on my Ipod, and it did the trick. I like the part where she says "even when I'm a mess I still put on vest with an S on my chest, cause I'm a superwoman, yes I am"

    I am trying to put in as many miles as I can in the next couple of days b/c its supposed to be 9 deg F on wed and 5 deg on thur, I want no part of that. I will probably attend a spin class both days instead.
  • Wow the mileage some of you ladies do. It’s truly inspiring. I hope to say I did 9.8miles one day!


    For me, my 4 mile trail run today was quite the victory. I also did a 2.56 walk with the dogs for a total of 6.56 today.
  • Heather - I did 2 miles on the elliptical today and felt that was an accomplishment! To me, what you did was inspiring!
  • I am so impressed by all of you! I did 7 miles on the treadmill today for a total of 38 miles.
