mothermavis - the 5K was great. It was just a small local one but we had a good time. My dh also walked it pushing the stroller. DD had her best time ever so she was pretty excited. I ran with her for this one.
Xmas challenge miles: 171.31 miles ..... 328.69 miles to go!
The next few day's worth of miles will be trail running/hiking in California, whoo hoo! My Garmin is so excited to go somewhere new and see hills and moutains and waterfalls! My Garmin has never seen a redwood tree in person!
Morning all...tyler....Mm....I'm back!! I managed to get started back on my walk/jog program yesterday. I got one mile in at lunch, then i went home and got 3.5 miles in last night. I hurt my knee a little so i couldn't get much of the jogging part in. (I'm 3 weeks post-op on my legs from my vein surgery. They say you can jog the day after but i don't buy that.) So...i'm trying to ease myself back into my jogging part. The great part is...I got my butt out of bed this morning and actually got a mile in this morning!!!! Yay for me!! lol.
The plan for today....one mile at lunch (can't break too much of a sweat at work) and hopefully another 3 miles tonight after church (kids are finishing up Vac. Bible School). And of course, planning to get some walk/jogs in this weekend.
Watch out girls!!! I'm coming back and working for sexy by chirstmas!!! lol!!!
