Are the miles I'm doing on the bike also allowed? How about all the floors I've climbed on the stairstepper...and if so...how in the world do I convert it?

Did a 7.2 mile run this morning. I can't get to tickerfactory to update my ticker, but I think that has more to do with my computer than the website! I'm down to 408.72 to go.
Snapless - If I remember correctly, the beginning of the thread said it didn't matter how you wanted to get the miles in, but I have no idea as far as converting. Maybe there's a stairstepper floors to miles converter somewhere online!

I don't count my biking or swimming miles, only my running or walking miles since that's kinda what MMavis indicated in her first post... but I assume you can do it anyway you want, whatever gets you up and moving.
I ran 2.20 miles this morning, kind of a shorty because of the heat.
Xmas challenge miles: 114.42 miles ..... 385.58 miles to go!

OK, I've been away from most of the challenges since I was spending too much time talking about how I was going to lose it and not enough time working to lose it. Refocused, with just this exercise challenge and the Commitment to Christmas challenge.
Suzanne, I don't count my biking or elliptical miles, mostly because I am trying to get back to running, but I agree with Josephine, whatever works for you is fine, just figure out a way to convert 'em and go for it.
I went hiking last weekend, 6.6 miles in the beautiful Adirondack mountains. Just added those miles and going back to the C25K today. I am going to restart around week 4 and get myself going again.
I also recently decided to go back to college and my first class starts 7/7 so I am going to need to really focus on finding time for my exercise and making my meals ahead so my choices are good.
I can do this, I am worth it.

Well, since no one else is adding their bike/stairs I'll keep mine limited to walking/running also.

I got in a blazing fast (for me) 7.08 miler this morning over the bridges, felt awesome! Getting out there at 5:30 am is definitely the key in this heat.
Xmas challenge miles: 121.5 miles ..... 378.50 miles to go!

I had a VERY uneventful weekend with only a few short walks with Johnny to the corner store or Burger King (about 4-5 blocks away). I'm HOPING to break all the way up into the 90's by the end of this week but it's not going to be easy. Tom & I both have 3 days off from work this week because of the holiday and when he's home the mileage ends up being next to nothing ... BUT I might get to make up for it during my 3 days at the end of the week if the weather cooperates!
