Goal for January: lose 8 pounds!
1/1: 276.0 1/2: 276.0 1/3: 277.3 "Step AWAY from the salt shaker..." 1/4: 277.2 1/5: 276.0 1/6: 276.0 1/7: 277.6 smh 1/8: 275.8 drank LOTS of water yesterday to flush out sodium. 1/9: 274.0 1/10: 274.2 Whoop! Glad it didn't bounce up too high! 1/11: 274.8 How can I lose 8 pounds with this pattern? 1/12: 276.8 Sodium! 1/13: 274.6 Gave up table salt yesterday. I hope I can make that a permanent thing. 1/14: 274.4 Whoop whoop, I love the downs, no matter how small! 1/15: 273.6 Praising God! :D |

This morning I looked up what my ideal weight is, not just for my BMI but for my height and frame (because despite getting into the 200's, I am not big-boned. I have a medium frame), and it's 132-147 lbs (and because I weighed that for years, I know that's right). So I went from being 2.5 lbs overweight to 20 lbs overweight, lickety-split! Joining late but it has been a rough couple of months. I lost my dad just before Christmas and trying to focus on my goals was not even possible for a little bit there. He is very missed but I am so happy that he was able to live such a full and amazing life. I know that he would want me to be able to do the same and the only way that will be possible is if I make my health a top priority.
My goal for January is 10 pounds...I have already lost 5 since the beginning of the month but still have 5 to go to meet that goal. Good luck everyone, I hope you are having a great start to 2016! |
