Well, Friday and Saturday I went out of town with my partner and his family to participate in a women's fishing competition, which ended up being cancelled due to the rain and wind. We still went fishing in the harbour and though the fish were babies, I caught two on a 50cm line that I held in my hand LOL. It was the highlight of my year so far because they were quick!
Friday night, we had takeaway fish and chips for dinner and, as usual, I ended up having the leftovers so they didn't go to waste. Saturday morning, my partner bought me a mince and cheese pie (we have meat pies in NZ ); however, I managed to escape having that because we bought cereal stuff. I don't know how healthy dinner was, but it was better than the night before.

I weighed myself yesterday (Sunday) morning and I was 63.5. This morning, I am 62.7 kgs. I'm coming back down...

Feb 6: 208.2 no food after 7. Water only.

Default hi

freckfrecks Wow you are doing awesome!! Keep up the good work!

183stgb yes working out with friends has benefits and drawbacks, I know I'm slower when I'm yapping away at someone... also, walking dead, I haven't gotten into it yet but I'm sure it's good.

misssmcc wow you are doing great!! Did I already ask what you do? I'll go back and see. You keep up the good work!

sum38 TOM sucks but at least you can get it over with and get back to things....mine's usually right at the end!

katerina11: Doing awesome! Getting so close to goal!!

turtle11 That 133 really likes you this month! still doing good though don't worry...just keep holding and it'll give!

seaurchin wowza! Noticed your loss in the last month.....what kind of plan you on?

pelican Good job, keep it up!

gardenerjoy Good job with your W's.... do you have a prize type thing for accomplishing the habit this month?

shr1nk1ngme Hey I see you tested your ketones....must be using some sort of meter? is it more useful than strips or will it change all day anyway?

jillybean2014 Nice job on the loss, keep it up! What was your goal?

marliqq Nice, yes it feels weird to get an even number...of course I only record even numbers myself but I get ya, looks weird when the scale does it!

kelijpa Eh, not doing too bad for those kinds of foods, lots of neat tasty things! Now I want chinese lol! Are you going out a lot lately? It's hard to keep op when dining with others...it was a birthday party for me this week...made caramel apple cake omg....

rhiko fishing sounded like fun.... meat pies, that sounded good...yeah we have "pot pie" which is usually meat, veg, kind of gravy stuff... but cheese sounds better.... you did well with that temptation. Also woot! on losing!

soon2beskinnycarma wow nice job logging and nice job losing! send me the whoosh fairy will ya!

I never had much luck with the urine strips. They never showed more than trace for me. I want a number!

There are only two meters for at-home use which test ketones. I have both of them! The NovaMax Plus has more affordable strips and a smaller sample size, but it is somewhat less accurate. The Precision Xtra ketone strips are really expensive and the sample size is comparatively large but the results are more accurate. I prefer the Precision Xtra to monitor ketones because of its accuracy. And I have found a Canadian pharmacy source for the strips which makes them MUCH more affordable.

I test every other day in the morning before I eat/drink anything. I want my ketones in the optimal range: 1.3 - 3.0. No more guesswork for me; I KNOW whether I am in ketosis or not. I have made some dietary and exercise adjustments using the information I get by monitoring my blood ketones/glucose and now I am always in ketosis. Though no matter what I do, I have a hard time getting any higher than 1.6.

I don't test several times a day because the strips are expensive and I don't like poking myself all the time. I figure if I get a consistent reading every other day or so, I am good.

NightAngel - thank you! I am doing good old fashioned calorie counting, doesn't work for everyone but works for me. And because I hate feeling hungry I am naturally going for healthier food because I don't want to spend all my calories in one meal haha

Whoosh fairy came by after low cal, lots of liquids, water, homemade juice, tea yesterday.

NightAngel we usually go out to eat on the weekend, kind of planned off plan, then back on track Sunday, last weekend with the Super Bowl we were off Sunday too. That mucked up the system, so this week back to plan and hopefully stay on track for goal...

Good morning, guys!
I didn't have the greatest weigh-in this week in numbers, but it felt like a miracle to me. I'm in the 100's!! I swear, it was the most exciting morning in 10 years!
Never going back

151.4 today. Another one pound mini-whoosh!

Today is a heavy exercise day and also an UpDay, so I am sure my weight will stay here for another day, but day after tomorrow I hope to see 150.6.

Hang in there 3FC's! We can do this.

RSadler126: Welcome to Onederland! It's a great place to live!

NightAngel26: A reward could be a good idea! I blow hot and cold with rewards. Sometimes I can come up with something that I want enough to work for it but not so much that I'd be so disappointed if I didn't earn it that I would overeat over it (that's counter-productive behavior). Other times, nothing seems to fit the bill, so I don't worry about it. Just seeing a long string of "done!"s is reward enough at the moment.

Goal: 3Ws (Weight, Write a food plan, Write a post) every day, starting the 4th.

4: done!
5: done!
6: done!
7: done!
8: done!
9: done!
10: done!
