OK, I weiged in on 2/1, 267 lbs. My goal is 255 by the end of February. At 255 I will be categorized as obese and not morbidly obese. My other goals are to eat out no more than 4 times and to try 5 new recipes. I ate out on 2/1 (road trip) and am trying a new Cooking Light recipe for dinner tonight! I don't weigh myself daily because I would drive myself crazy - so will just post the weight updates weekly.

Good luck everyone! You can do it!

Welcome Lissaclaire!! Good luck - hoping feb is going to be a good month for us all!

Hmmmm cake, sounds delicious Katerina! Happy belated birthday?

I've started to head in the right direction again. Not really sure what's been going on over the last week - seemed to take a whole week to lose my 'weekend weight' - usually only takes a few days. Better late than never tho right?

Went out for a long run today - 15k - and finally booked a half marathon in may. Excited to have already hit one goal for this month (booking said half marathon) even if the main challenge is actually going to be to run it!! Hang in their knees!

Start weight 141
Goal weight 132

Feb 1 - 141
Feb 2 - 140
Feb 3 - 138

Welcome Everyone....As I go through life and this weight loss challenge, I find my biggest obstacle to be my attitude, not about the numbers on the scale but about the thighs I see or the big butt that is reflected in the mirror......I need to remind myself that I am so much more than those negative comments I've heard since I was a child and I am a woman who is in a body that yes has curves and will always have curves but my body deserves the best I can give it...whether its positive feedback, care and or nurturing..... I want to use the numbers on the scale not as a loathing but as a tool to be the best that I can and give myself the best life possible

yes, it was my birthday. i calculated what i need to do to get back on track and today it's 875 cals and the rest of the week 1000 cals and then i can go back to regular 1200-1500.

thanks for the impetus to do those calculations.

(i am sprinting to 191 and then i will take a diet break again to find maintenance.)

Default hello...

susan1975 argh!!! I'll be irritated for you!! you're so close to onederland!! stinking scale.... prob just retention, hang in there!!

minneey Are you trying out a new fitness dvd every month or something? that would be a neat idea.... looks like you're going down too!! Right on! I've heard people are fond of kickboxing videos....and any of the dance ones although personally I can't keep up!

campana wow you're doing well!! Wishing you luck for onederland!!

roxydisaster hey welcome and good luck!!

soon2beskinnycarma nice goals, good ideas with the limitations, lots of people have good luck with the not eating late. Also, the workout class should help!

183stgb Hey at least you're keeping track of what you're doing...that's one step in the right direction!

kelijpa eh, TOM... no worries it'll drop right off!

ajlee33 eh not too bad for going to sonic...never been, we don't have them and that makes me sad but they look calorific!! No worries.

turtle11 nice, going in the right dirrection!!!

katerina yeah cake does that, did that to me the other day!!whew!! it'll be ok though, come right off!!

shrinkingme good job! keep it up!

boatingmommy yeah TOM sucks!! it'll drop soon though, hang in there

woodstock good luck on the running, hopefully it will help...

underanalysis good job with the weight loss! Did I ever ask you what you do diet/exercise wise?

nitrus29: good luck getting to onederland, you're very close... it'll be ok, everyone slips up sometimes!

lisaclaire good job on the loss! Keep it up!

watchoutforthatcar holy weight loss batman! good job!!

sum38 good job so far, might be creeping up a bit but easily reversible

jennybutler357 you still on the phen caps? those over the counter?

selway a lot of people don't weigh daily.... it's normal... can be too stressful to see the numbers go up and down every day as they often do. good luck!

auzziedee hey, that's a nice statement you made there, it's good to try to keep a positive frame of mind.

Starting weight 2/1/14 212.4
Feb 1st Stayed under calories but did eat my exercise calories.
Feb 2nd Stayed under calories. Did not eat exercise calories. No food after 7pm.
Feb 3rd Slightly over calories 1786. Did not eat after 7pm. Did have black decaf tea. But I did that and still lost today.

Current weight 211.6. Nice downward trend finally. I have been on point for 1 week and never gone over my calories. My fitness class was cancelled so I walked in my house. Boring I know.

NightAngel: Sending you good vibes to stay away from carbs.
Katerina: Happy Birthday.
Kellipa: Good job with staying OP.
AuzzieD: Embrace your curves and take care of your heart, body and soul.
I have an 11 year old son that thought I was doing this for my clothes to fit better. I explained that my dad had his first heart attack at 48 and fatal one at 52. He quickly did the math and now supports me.

I'm in again for this month. Since I lost 2kgs last month, let's try it again this month.

SW: 62.3 kgs
GW: 60 kgs

60 is my actual goal and something that's felt out or reach for months. Fingers-crossed I get there

everyone!

Good morning

I am so hungry lately, isn't even funny. I sucked it up yesterday though.
Slowly easing back into running - I am glad we have such a mild winter this year. Also - I did finish HasFit's 30 day six pack challenge last night, and no sixpack today!! SCAM!! Kidding I can actually feel my tummy tightening up, so I'll just restart the program.
Crossfit today <3 haven't made it the last 2 weeks so I am pumped.

NightAngel26 thanks for doing personals! Great motivation.

Minney yay for booking that Half-marathon! Running 15k is amazing -- we can do it!!

Have a great OP day veryone!!

Started Feb at 95kg. Goal is to lose 2-3kg, I am fluctuating though so I have seen 93kg on the scales, love to see 92kg appear more consistently.
