Dee your dog (s) must be getting in great shape, I bet they're loving those walks, we were at a balmy 9, my poochie didn't want to stay out long at all!
Kelijpa- Thanks! Just one pup, Mila. She's a rescue dog I got in January '13. And she's not a fan of walking when it's colder than 10 degrees either - but lately it's been above freezing. Weird how down in the lower 48 they are having such dire winter weather but up here in Alaska it feels like it's turning spring. Even the trees are getting confused- the kitty willows are coming out.

Great job everyone!
Dee at work today quite a few people mentioned how we were colder than Anchorage, it is weird weather. Our dog is a shelter dog, funny little cocker spaniel mix, I haven't trimmed him since it's been so cold, he's starting to look like one of the Beatles, lol.
Jacqui WTG!
Sum great job, you're killing it!
GardenerJoy I bet you're ready for spring, you have about 7 hours shoveling snow!

pamatga I feel a bit fatigued as well. I have exceeded my wildest dreams of goals. I really upped the ante this month and in a weight loss department I have been handsomely rewarded; keeps me going. I am mustering up my strength to go to the gym. Today is my "day from h3ll" exercise day; first I lift weights for 45 min, then I power walk (4.2mph) for 60 minutes on treadmill and then I hop in to the pool and swim for 45/50 minutes. These are the true fat burning days for me. I do it 3 times per week. Other days I just walk and do aerobics.
You can do it, end is near and then we are refreshed to start the month of February.
Remember, rest days are important too; if you feel tired, you may need one. Hugs.

Kelijpa- It's ridiculously warm. You might think we are rejoicing, but many of us are disgusted at this weather. It'd be different if it was actually spring, but we're months away from spring. Many of us ski, snowmobile, etc. and this weather has trashed our snowpack so all we can do is look outside at the grey weather, slip and slide our way to the car, and wish it would cool off again and snow. My DH and I like go go snowmobiling every weekend in the winter, and we haven't been able to ride for the past 3 weekends because of this cruddy weather. I do feel sorry for the folks in the lower 48 that are getting it, though, because I know most of them don't want it and some communities aren't prepared to get hit with severe winter weather.
Sum38- you CRUSHED your goal! Congratulations!
I haven't been walking the past few days because I can barely stand up in our driveway and I live up on a mountain so everything is either up or downhill and I don't want to fall on my rear. It's pretty slick out.
