I haven't been feeling very good and keep forgetting to check in. I've been pretty good at staying OP though.

My weight keeps bouncing between 148 and 149. Still hoping to see 147 before the 25th. :)

GettinFit 09-10-2012 10:37 AM

Good morning ladies,

Steph - Kudos to you for exercising instead of binging. Thanks so much for all the encouragement you send my way.

Silly Rabbit - I'm glad you enjoyed your weekend and your job. Great job on staying OP 9 days so far. You're doing a great job.

Bunneh - Sorry you're not feeling good but great job staying OP. I hope you feel better today.

Penguin - I hope you have a great OP day.

So far so good for me. Not eating much sugar seems to be helping me. The scale is still around 208. I'm hoping that I can see 206 by next week :carrot: I so wanna get to the 190s.

Have a great day everyone :)

tyla 09-10-2012 11:22 AM

Hi Everyone!

Sorry, I haven't been around in a few days. My hubby and I have been busy refrigerator shopping. We finally found one we like, and they are delivering it on Thursday. Unfortunately, we're eating more pantry foods like cereal or going out to eat until the refrigerator comes. ;) Even though, I'm counting every calorie and point, carbs seem to make it harder to lose. Oh, well.

Silly Rabbit, GettinFit, smoosmoo and penguin, thanks for your concern about our refrig problem.

Silly Rabbit, yes, I keep a food journal. That makes me feel like I'm in control. I do better when I journal.

GettinFit, let's keep fighting the fight together. I'm sending you good wishes that you will loose this week. You will. Hang in there.

Smoosmoo, congrats on your weight loss!

Let's keep going >>>>>>

JazzyPeggy 09-10-2012 11:27 AM

I haven't done too bad but I haven't done well either. Yesterday I had the don't cares again. But last night I took some action and at least logged my food and drank water, I didn't want regrets later.

I did lose a pound this week.

Good job Steph for avoiding your binge. GettinFit, I know you will make your goal.

JazzyPeggy 09-10-2012 11:28 AM

Bunneh you will reach your goal too.

AilsaPearl 09-10-2012 11:40 AM

jazzy- good job on the 1lb loss! today is the start of a fresh week, you got it!

I usually weigh myself Friday mornings before having eaten or drunk anything, last week I was 150.2, and I stepped on the scale yesterday afternoon and was 1.6lbs-151.8 more, oops! That's my fault, I know I need to do it always at the same time. Anyways, I am really hoping to see the 140's on the scale this Friday's weigh in. 149.9999 please!!! I can't wait to get out of the 150's (again) Good luck everyone, today is Monday, a fresh start, and a good opportunity to stay OP and focused for the stressful week ahead! :)

JazzyPeggy 09-10-2012 12:03 PM

Thank you Ailsa! Yes I love fresh starts.

smoosmoo 09-10-2012 12:36 PM

Today was an OP day for me again. I'm actually quite proud of myself, because we went out with my friend to have a buffet, and I chose the salad buffet one. I was really tempted to take the normal buffet though, but didn't in the end. It's a habit of ours to stuff ourselves really full whenever we go to have a buffet anyways, so I knew if I took the normal one with pizzas and all that stuff, that would of been very bad for my diet.

I did quite a lot of walking today as well. Atm I'm feeling very tired of all the school work. Getting to sleep very soon though~

TheBunneh, AilsaPearl and GettinFit, You all have nice goals. Hope you'll be able to reach them. :)

Silly Rabbit Must be a challenging job, sounds really hard to keep after the cars for good pictures. (or just snap a good one of them anyways) :o
I was really surprised this morning as well, didn't expect -2 degrees at this time of the year yet... Don't really like cold and dark winters, but oh well. :D

JazzyPeggy It's good that you're back on track. Also congrats on the 1 pound loss!

tamanna 09-10-2012 01:24 PM

SunnySide99 09-10-2012 02:35 PM

Hi everyone!

tyla - Good luck with the new fridge!

JazzyPeggy - You are not alone as the scales aren't moving for me either, but I'm putting on a lot of muscle. I'm putting my scale away for a couple of weeks because I am shrinking and I am loving my new body. I just hoped the scales would move for me like it did last month, but I guess you can't have it all!

GettinFit - You're staring into the 190's! Yay! Keep it up!!!!

smoosmoo - Good job on choosing the salad buffet! I know all about that temptation. Try not to hang your head about going over your calories.

As far as my updates goes, I did indulge a little this weekend. I had pizza Friday night and had a nice meal last night. However I'm learning my body and I need to drink a lot of water the day of and the day after eating those meals and I need to either workout twice in a day or have one intense calorie-burning workout. Doing that made the scales kind to me as I didn't pick up any extra weight nor do I feel bloated.

I'm very happy my strength-training class is resuming tonight. I did a good job at home working out with 12lb dumbells, but I like a class setting when lifting.

I hung out with a friend last night. The last time I saw her was a month ago. Before that was in March. She asked me if I have been losing weight. She wanted to ask last month but she wasn't sure, but she really saw a huge difference even since then. I told her I'm down 30+ lbs overall and down 10 lbs since she last saw me and was floored.

She said she really noticed when she gave me a hug and she wondered where was the rest of me. It just felt really great and she gave me a lot of support and compliments. Just wanted to share. :)

Here's my meal plan and workout plan for the day:

Breakfast: Multi-grain Cheerios
Snack: A very small helping of last night's meal
Lunch: Peanut butter/jelly sandwich and a medium apple
Snack: Kashi Strawberry Cereal Bar
Dinner: Cod with a veggie mix
After class: Protein Shake

AM Workout:
4 mile walk
PM Workout: 1 hour strength-training class

Have a great rest of the day!

GettinFit 09-10-2012 07:42 PM

Good evening ladies,

Tyla - I'm glad you found a new fridge.

Smoo - Great job on staying in control at the buffet and sticking with the salad. I hope the scale is good to you this week

tamanna - Hang in there with the scale. It will eventually go down. I went 2 weeks & 2 days without a drop when I was OP and working out almost every day. It can be discouraging but don't give up.

Sunny - How nice that your friend noticed your weight loss. I'm sure that was very encouraging to you. Enjoy your strength class tonight.

AlsaPearl - Yep it is best to weigh yourself the same time. I hope it goes down to 149 by Friday morning. Hang in there.

Peggy - Congrats on your loss this week.

I've had a good day. No diet soda & no peanuts today. I did my FIRM rotation workout and a 15 min walk at work.

patchworkpenguin 09-10-2012 11:03 PM

Today was my scheduled rest day but we did so much walking & shopping that my feet hurt, also my shins are sore from yesterdays walk. Nothing like being dragged up a hill by a dog who thinks she's a drafthorse.

Sept 10, Mon

breakfast Latte

Cracker Barrel ~ 1/2 meatloaf, 1 ser carrots, 1/2 mashed potatos.

1/4 cup {Hubby"s} coffee

cake with whip cream + iced coffee

lasagna + {dessert} stawberries

Doritos {not a great choice here!}

walking/shopping

Sunny, always nice to have our hard work appreciated and recognized. Great friend!

tamanna, stick with it, results will come

Silly Rabbit 09-11-2012 02:10 AM

Wow, ladies, you've been busy posting! :)

Day 10 behind me, went well. TOM is fast approaching, so I felt hungrier than usual; no extra cravings, just wanted to eat more. Managed to keep it in calorie limits, though it wasn't easy. Plus I had a nasty headache from not having enough fluids the day before. All in all a somewhat crappy day.

Despite everything I still managed to exercise, getting in my usual long evening walk. Felt better after that, so... yeah. Moving helps. Just need to watch my water intake.

GettinFit - you're doing great!

SunnySide - it's awesome when friends notice and compliment; feels great, doesn't it?

penguin - LOL at your dog! Like a furry four-legged exercise instructor.

tamanna - scales are evil. But like you said, you also didn't gain, so remember that and keep going!

smoosmoo - yeah, buffets are not an easy place to be with all the temptations, so you did very well. Nice!

tyla - carbs are something I need to watch too. I've seriously cut down on grains and only eat dark rye bread and occasionally some rice. That seems to help me.

Bunneh - hope you're feeling better!
