Helloooooo ladies..

I so wish i knew everyone's real names.. its so difficult to remember whos who :P..

@gettinfit : 'The scale'.... is the biggest de motivator :(... But dont let it win.. i know it feels pathetic when you are doing it all right.. and still the scale betrays you!!:eek:
But just let it be there.. and keep working.. it will have to give in one day !!!:carrot:
checkin in on my op for 6th sept..

I did well.. worked out.. water intake.. diet.. only thing that went wrong was.. i had an overly high carb diet yesterday.. :(..
I plan to make up for it today though!!:dizzy:

See you tomorrow girls!!!

CleverName 09-07-2012 02:10 AM

Oy. Today was a bad day. Plans for the day changed drastically in the middle of the day, so meals had to change too.
I did drink lots of water though- that's something that I'm starting to do more and more, to meet my water intake goals.
Tomorrow will be better.

Silly Rabbit 09-07-2012 02:20 AM

Day 6 went OP. Was a bit too low on calories after the first half of the day, so had a slightly bigger dinner to avoid being under the limit. Exercise was fun as usual, though the weather got nasty - really cold and and windy. I guess it's time to dig out some warmer workout clothes. Sigh... summer is barely gone and I already miss it.

smoosmoo 09-07-2012 03:23 AM

Had an OP day yesterday. I'm sure I'd hit a plateau because of too low calorie limit, so starting from today I'll increase my calorie intake.

Good morning ladies - Happy Friday :carrot:

I think I just figured out why I've been having such a hard time logging on. I think it's because of one of the advertisements that pops up.

Bunneh & Steph - I think I may go back to daily weighing too. I just feel like it's gonna drop any day now. I've gone from 210.8 2 Friday's ago to 210.0 today. I know if I keep it going it will go down. I got a little frustrated on Wednesday but I regrouped and am staying focused & committed. Thanks for the encouragement. Great job on staying OP too:carrot:

SunnySide99 - Nice job on staying OP & exercising. You are going to have a woosh too so hang in there.

Silly Rabbit - Glad day 6 went good for you. Keep up the good work. Hopefully you'll get used to fall :) We've had such a hot summer here in GA that I welcome it.

Smoo - Yep be sure to eat enough. It's so crazy how not eating enough keeps you from losing. Have a great OP day.

CleverName - I hope today is a good one for you.

tamanna - Glad all is going good for you. Thanks for the encouragement. I am definitely NOT going to let that metal monster win. I am sticking with the program. I will adjust my eating not to include as much sugar and snacks next week.

AilsaPearl - I hope you make it through the weekend. If you need extra motivation, be sure to come here and check in. We're cheering for you to have an OP weekend :cheer2:

Hi Peggy, Tyla & Penguin (I apologize if I missed anyone:?:)

I'm looking forward to an OP day. Yesterday was a very good one. After having 2000 calories on Wed., I had to be extra careful and I only had about 1200 calories. This weekend I am going to cut back on sugar and peanuts and I am going to drink more water. I am determined to break through 210. I got my rotation workout in this morning and I'm planning to go for a walk this evening. I hope you all have a great Friday.

CleverName 09-07-2012 11:47 AM

Well, the scale really reflects my poor food choices- which is a good motivation to stay OP. I've had a good breakfast, and those higher numbers on the scale will keep me in check!
Hope everyone has a great OP day!

We had a big lightening storm that knocked our power out last night. It came back on about time for Hubby to go to work, since Hubby didn't get much sleep so his boss let him stay home and sleep for a few more hours. At least all is back to normal and we didn't lose all the food in the new fridge due to the generator. I still feel exhausted.

Tamanna, it will take a little while to get to know everyone, we've all had to go through it, so we understand. I find it harder to look at a username and remember their real name.

GettinFit 09-07-2012 02:18 PM

CleverName - I hope the scale is back to where you want it real soon.

Penguin - Glad you didn't lose any of your food.

I'm doing good with my goal to drink more water today. So far I've had about 96 ounces and NO diet soda! I've been having 2 a day lately. I am also getting in some extra activity by running back and forth to the ladies rm :dizzy:

Have a great afternoon everyone.

tyla 09-07-2012 04:09 PM

GettinFit, congrats on your water intake!

Did well yesterday, in spite of our refrigerator dying. Looks like we'll be refrigerator hunting this weekend. Bummer.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

patchworkpenguin 09-07-2012 05:04 PM

My technology is being weird this week. My computer is working fine on some sites than slow or jammed on others. My phone texted badly Tues, fine Wed/Thurs but back to texts not going through. Grr.

Because of power outages and fridge going bad we had to restock out fridge/freezer 3 times already this year.

Tyla, sorry to hear about the fridge.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pretty good day except for the power going out.
tyla 09-07-2012 07:13 PM
Penguin, thank you. Can you imagine... We had to throw food from the freezer and some from the refrigerator section away! Very sad. (And we're not rich!)
Steph, I forgot to thank you for the very nice compliment!
GettinFit 09-07-2012 09:22 PM
Tyla - I'm sorry about your fridge and I hope you can find a good deal on one this weekend.
Penguin - Congrats on a good day and I'm sorry you had to get rid of your food too. That's no fun.
I made it through the day without any peanuts or diet soda. I wanted a Coke Zero so bad but I didn't give in. I'm just trying to change things up to get the scale moving down. After work I did a 3 mile walk. I'm hoping to see a change on the scale by Monday.
I hope you all have a great weekend and stay OP :)
smoosmoo 09-08-2012 02:02 AM
And an OP day rolled over. The scale has budged down now since I started to eat more, funny. Also had a 1 hour walk yesterday with my friend.
tyla Oww, good luck with finding a new refrigerator.
Penguin Power outages sound scary. Hope that doesn't happen too often there. :(
CleverName, tamanna I'm glad you're motivated to do fine. Good luck with staying OP! :D
GettinFit Congratulations on not giving in to cravings! I know the thing with soda, used to drink that a lot lot, but somehow it just moved out of my diet when I started to drink more water and milk. Little changes make it big. :)
Have a nice weekend everyone!
Silly Rabbit 09-08-2012 02:26 AM
First week of September behind me and it went well. Day 7 was OP too. Took my daily walk a little earlier than usual, cause hubby and I went to the movies at night. No movie food (we never do that - blech!) and the movie was also... blech. The day was weirdly cold, so ended up drinking a large mug of ginger tea before bed - mmm, was toasty warm after that :)
smoo - same here; I dropped too low for a while, then started to eat a little more and the weight is moving again.
GettinFit - way to go on the food changes and exercise. Keep going!
tyla - sorry to hear about the fridge trouble, hope you find a new one soon.
Penguin - yeah, power outages suck. We lost one computer last year because of that.
CleverName - don't worry, we all have bad days sometimes. Don't let it get you down :)
Have fun everyone!
Silly Rabbit 09-08-2012 02:39 AM
Oh, something I wanted to ask you guys about - does anyone else keep a sort of diet journal?
I bought a school kids day planner when I started in August - it also started from August, so it was perfect for me. I don't write down everything I eat, but I do write about my daily exercise, what vitamins I took (if I took any that day), if I had any weird food reactions, how I felt physically, etc. I also keep tabs on my periods (in the calendar part), so I'll know if my diet changes anything about them.
So - anyone? :)
