Failure. I am running out of time to reach the goal of 10 pounds?! I be lucky to lose 5. That for having a weak will power at the beginning of this month. Now that I'm back on track, I can only hope to do the best that I can.

Oxia - Great job meeting and surpassing your goal!!!!

chickadee - I am up for the fight I WILL reach my goal... you WILL reach yours.. WE WILL be successful! Although I have to tell you, any loss for the month is a success... we are closer then we were at the start of the month

LittleBlueCat - If there is a loss of any amount, not a failure. If you only lose 2Lbs in a month, that is 2Lbs less in the total spectrum of things you have to lose.... I call that a total success!!!

AFM - Today I am making my DH's favorite cake and favorite frosting from scratch for his birthday - he is 45 today. He has requested Tilapia for supper, so will do some veggies with that. Also want to fit in a bike ride and have to stop at store for some items to complete his request. He will be watching football uninterrupted today, LOL! Should be a great day!

ItsMyTurn: Where are you on the scale now? Mine is STILL up with water weight. I can't believe this has been going on for nearly 2 weeks now!! Unless some miracle happens and I see the whoosh over the next 2 days, I won't make goal this month - for the first time ever. I'll keep fighting though, as there's not much else I can do!

minoja: Guilt won't help anything! Let go of the bad feelings, and just move forward and DO IT. Get on track now, today, and make it happen. I know you can.


TWO MORE DAYS left in September, ladies! Give it all you've got!!

Chickadee - the scale hasn't moved!!! .4 is all I need though, and considering TOM is coming, I am considering it an accomplishment that it hasn't gone up. Now here's the thing, I am not giving up, we have 2 days left and a LOT can happen in 2 days!!!! Full charge, here we come for our goals!!!!

I'm so close!!! Lost 9.5lbs so far this month! Will I lose the final 0.5lbs by tomorrow!!!???!!! I jolly hope so! 9.5lbs is still fab though so I'm not gonna get too upset.

Hope everyone else is doing ok. I'll check in again tomorrow with my final weight loss

Well, i was 130 again this morning and seem to have gone up a lb from a week ago, so i haven't lost therefore in two weeks, although i'm happy with my eating and exercise, so i'll just have to cop it.

That's ok. I'm settling for this number for September at 130 and a loss of 6lb, which still puts me ahead of my 5lb target.

Think i'll go for a very moderate 3lb loss for October. I find it more motivating to set a challenge that i really think i can do, and exceed it if possible, rather than setting one that i'll be lucky to make! Funny how different people have different ideas on that one and others are more motivated to set a challenging target, even though they may not make it.

Which category are you in?

Chickadee, will you be starting us an October thread?- you did a great job of managing and motivating in Sept - will you do it again? please please please?!?

Good luck for tomorrow to those that are so close.

Pickle - wow, 9.5lb, you've done fantastically whether you pick up that extra 0.5 or not!

ange: Yup, I'll get the October thread started right now! I feel bad though - I haven't been as present and supportive here since I started having these water retention issues recently... I've been really frustrated, and when I'm feeling that way it's hard for me to stay upbeat. GREAT job on all you accomplished in September, and I wish you just as much success for October!!

Pickle: I agree with ange; whether you get to 10 lbs or not (and you still could!), you've done an awesome job this month! You're 9.5 lbs lighter than you were on Sept 1 - that's amazing!!!

ItsMyTurn: I'm with you!! Still fighting, all the way through my last weigh-in for the month on Saturday morning. Whatever the scale shows, at least I'll know I've done everything I could!

Chickadee - I figure if I do it tomorrow morning, when I actually have a chance to sleep and I do weights tonight, but it's circuit... so even with TOM looming, I gotta give it a shot So I am with you... report here tomorrow morning - good or bad... but honestly... even if we don't reach full goal, we essentially lost more than we would have without any effort and I call that a win... but dang, come on goal! LOL!

I'm still sitting at 210, no loss in the last 2.5 weeks I'm tempted to blame it on adding exercise but I know short (and even long) plateaus can happen without any apparent rhyme or reason. I may have to give in and start counting calories (ugh!), but I'll wait a couple more weeks before I try something that drastic

I have not had a good week, and my eating was good until yesterday. Today is my WI day so although i had a bad dinner I forced myself on the scale this morning. I have lost only 1 lb this week which is concerning me but I will take it.

On another note... I work on the 33rd floor and yesterday I took the stairs all the way down. Today I am very sore, but I love it b/c to me it means that I am working some muscles that I haven't worked.
