Peanutt - It wasn't famoso but a new place downtown. The service was so bad we won't be back. The pizza was ok but nothing to write home about. I want to try Famoso, I think we have one now too.
I love shopping now! Great find on the jeans! I tried on a sweater at SmartSet earlier this week and they only had an extra large. It was huge. :-)) Loved that even when I didn't get it sweater after all. Just trying something on that was too large made my day. I didn't shop there before because nothing never fit.
Where did you shop for the boots? I didn't even think about me possibly fitting any! Oh I would LOOOVE having boots. Do you have a picture? I need some boots too! :-)

Anon - Peanutt's tip is great. Eat something with higher calorie count. My bf sometimes struggles because he has more points than I do. So he gets the full fat coconut yogurt (tastes like liquid ice cream!). He is not a big yogurt fan but this one he loves. So I get him to eat yogurt and he can "waste" some leftover points.

I think around here we always start to get a little desperate to enjoy the last gasps of summer before the long, depressing winter sets in.

I went shopping yesterday and bought some new pants (jeans for $17 at Old Navy!) because cooler weather is creeping in on us. I bought a pair of SIZE 10 PANTS! They're a little tight because my stomach is still a bit swollen, but they fit!! I was also able to cross off another clothing-related NSV by buying my first ever pair of boots. I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of knee high leather boots and I finally can wear them! Oh I am so desperate for the next chilly day to wear my new skinny jeans and boots!
What a great NSV!
I too have to drag the family for a after dinner walk <G>, they always thank me afterwards.

@Sarge- Thanks to the Jumbo Size Funk-Be-Gone I feel much better. Woke-up and started exercising first thing this morning.

@Skinny in Oz- Oh I am very FUNKY- Lady Gaga is a house favorite. TY

3 day off in a row has been nice, house is cleaner, I have had time to cook lovely/healthy dinners, and some relaxing with the kids. TOM weight is flying off, I may have truly gained 1.5 pounds but, I will loose it by the end of the week. Both exercise and food are in check!

Added-
@Chick how is your husband doing with his diabetes scare? My husband had high sugar numbers and elevated bad cholesterol levels is April when we started loosing weight. He has lost 15 pounds, increased exercise, and is eating more veggies, and still this week his numbers came back bad. Any ideas about what we should do? His job is very stressful and I think that is a big part of the problem.

I love shopping now too! There are so many more options and I don't have to dress like an old lady! I got the boots at Shoe Warehouse. They're these boots in black.

I'm sure they will. I have huge calves and these boots fit over my calves of steel PLUS a pair of jeans. They have elastic at the back of the cuff on the top too.

Oh that sounds good! I am definitely going to check them out. Do you mind if we run around in the same boots? ;-)

WOOHOO . . . paperwork complete . . . NO papercuts . . . always a good thing.

A quick 12-mile bike ride - complete with crunches, butt lifts, dips and dead lifts

PacSun: The hair is SOO SASSY . . . LOVE IT and me thinks you do to

Peanutt: Nice boots . . . I think you will see those 4's one day soon . . . I'm about 20 pounds lighter than you right now and we're basically the same height so I'd start planning on 4's . . . . maybe not EVERY pair, but definitely I'm seeing 4's in your future

Josey: good luck on the boot shopping . . . new clothes/shoes/boots are ALWAYS A FUN MOTIVATOR. I especially love when I take something out of the closet and it just hangs on me . . . then I happily put it in the "PILE"

Anon: Yup, I think Peanutt has the right answer, add a couple of slices of avocado, or celery/apple/banana with peanut butter. Snack on some almonds or cashews . . . some days I'm not so hungry (yesterday) I don't usually fight with it too much . . . WHY . . . do you ask??? Because today I'm starving . . . it's only after several days of NOT being hungry I sit up and take notice

Jeanettey: Looks like another GREAT challenge this week!!

DZach: Congrats on the scale, just remember when it goes all . . . psychotic on you . . . not to fret, hang tough, stick to the plan and the scale will submit . . . sooner or later . . . UGH!

Dreamer: C25K is AWESOME . . . just do it!!

SARGE: I'm MELTIN' MY BUTT-ER ON THIS HUMPITY LUMP KIND-O-DAY. Recipe looks YUMMY .

OK, gotta BOUNCE

Still need to pack food for supper and activities to keep be busy through the evening . . .

Jeanettey Mid-Week Challenge Complete! (Worth incredible fitocracy points...thanks Jeanettey!)

Crunch:
100 reps
100 reps
100 reps
100 reps
100 reps

Reverse Crunch:
15 reps
15 reps
12 reps

Superman:
60 sec
60 sec
60 sec

Side Plank:
45 sec
45 sec
30 sec
30 sec
These NEVER get easy!

Twisty Dumbbell Lunges:
5 lb x 10 reps
5 lb x 10 reps

What makes me happy really aren't the fitocracy points, it's that just a few months ago when MadamB and I challenged each other to "Walk the Plank" on the sweat site, I couldn't even lift my butt-er off the ground.

reso: Wow! Amazing, thanks for the inspiring pics!

skinny & iamerican: Thanks for the well wishes.

I'm just checking in. Still have the stupid stomach flu. Living on clear soups and diet ginger ale for the time being. Super annoying, but hey at least I'm too sick to even think about eating something unhealthy. Silver lining, silver lining.

I am so dense sometimes. After Sundays 11 miles I felt really tired and achy, then I started to fee human again Monday. After Tues 7 I felt rotten again, then I was feeling a bit better this morning, after the run I felt rotten again. My son came home from hockey camp and slept for 2 hrs, he just woke up complaining of feeling achy. My husband said he has been really tired and achy too. I think we all have some sort of virus. You would think I could have figured out that maybe I am not feeling well because I am sick.

Envelope--You'll especially be susceptible to virus if you've been running a lot. Try to take care of yourself!

Skinny-- Fitocracy is free and many of us are addicted to it right now! Use invite code: SARGE to get signed up if you want to play along.

Thanks for the encouragement on c25k all I defo do love it. I need to get some new running shoes...flip flops arent right for running. I will have to try to find my keds to run in until I can make it to our running store about an hr or so away.

I found today that JM30DS is "easier" than lvl 1 by easier I mean my endurance is a TON better the exercises are harder themselves but im able to power through the workout a lot better than I could lvl 1 does that makes sense? Maybe its just that is seems like a funner workout to me LOL who knows.

Realized I didn't do the right intervals for c25k so Im gonna redo day 1 today. I really dont wanna do a day where I dont run tho. I enjoyed running everyday when I did it earlier this yea. What are your thoughts on doing say running every day but repeating the previous days segment i.e. w1d1,w1d1,w1d2,w1d2,w1d2 and resting on say sundays? Or just doing the weeks one after another? I know I could walk on the off days but without my mp3 player to listen to I find I would rather run.

peanutt- hot boots!

sarge- hot damn you do that every day? ouuuchh.
