josey- I did have the exact same problem and found out it's a side effect of having too few calories. Also having lost a bit of weight I assume our insulation is just down and we are not used to it. I found an article on live-strong.

Josey--Yup...too few calories, loss of "insulation" in those pounds you've dropped, or perhaps even iron deficient are probable suspects in feeling colder than normal associated with weight loss.

josey - it's loss of insulation and the fact that it's been friggin' cold here the last couple of days!! I am NOT looking forward to this winter.

Yes, wow I discovered that last year. I was freezing since I had lost some insulation. I also find my butt starts to hurt when I am sitting too long, lost some extra padding.

I am down a pound today and I am going to start the c25k. Though looking at the work out, I think I will find it rather pleasant for the first few weeks. So I am going to push myself over my comfort Zone like I did yesterday. I have been jogging at 3 so c25k will be perfect for getting me into 4mph. I think I might plan on doing it over and over and pushing myself a little faster each 9 weeks.

I am going to try my darndest and get those last two pounds in before Sunday for Pledge!

Good morning, everyone. Finished my little baby steps on the treadmill and have the day's food well in hand. Talked to 2 gyms in my area yesterday and there is just no way we can make a gym work financially. So today's task is to carve out a spot where I can do some free weight stuff for a while --- the weights can be had very reasonably from Craigslist, etc.

Gllad you are feeling better HotPink! Jeanettey -- that was the PERFECT poster for Sarge's outstanding performance in your killer workout. to the good Sarge, along with our adulation and prostrate selves. Is the cat on Munchy's poster the platoon mascot? If not, I wanna adopt!

Off to do some housework --- those chains and manacles don't polish themselves! Have a strong day, everyone!

Thanks all! You are right it is probably just the pounds lost. I guess wool sweaters and tea it is!

@K2 - Boney butt too! It really hurts after a while on any chair. Makes me get up more at work so I guess that's a good thing.

@Peanutt - True! it is effing fall here in the middle of August. I am not looking forward to winter. Didn't we have snow in June? Uggh.
I guess at least we didn't have snow yet... Barrhead apparently did get some earlier this week. Summers are not like they used to be! I am dreading winter and they forecast a bad one. (Not that they ever get the forecast right!)

Good afternoon all!

I have decided that it is a good day. Poncho is out of critical condition, I removed his IV today and he is consistantly eating (and holding it down), and the scale says I'm down another pound..weighed in at 163.6 this morning. I get to go to my youngest's orientation tonight and my 5 year olds is tomorrow. I'm so happy to get life rolling again. I would also like to return to my own bed at night and actually get more than an hours rest. Oh the woes of the doggie nurse. We are having Zack's birthday tomorrow evening, he'll be 3.

Happy day to all!

Because your boots aren't spit shined? Because we haven't all gotten buzz cuts? Because we're still swimming across the Pacific and that makes you cranky? Because someone passed you on Fitocracy? Because the kitty shot Gumby? Because you're jealous of Reso's red laces?
