Day 60 and doing great! Can not believe it is only 40 days until Labor Day.

Sno - it is fustrating when the scale does not show the progress, but I am sure it showing else where. I think the woosh fairy owes you a visit.

The weather is starting to cool of, so I am getting more exercize.


I lost another pound last week.
I am sticking to my plan. I hope to lose 20 pounds by the New Year.

Hi all:

well another pound today. I attribute that to keeping mycarbs to whole grains and staying away from poisonous white flour and sugar.

It isnt a woosh but thats okay--it feels good to get some progress.

env: congrats on day 60!

Jolina: that is a nice goal--just think how good you will feel at 20lbs lighter.

LGW: you can do it!! it will happen before you know it..

Hi all!

Oh joy--I have that woosh after all! 2 more down!! 215!

I switched from the 17 day diet to counting calories and it seems to work better for me.

Hi everyone. Well I feel bad because all of you have faithfully kept track of which day you're on. For the life of me, I have no clue what day. I've been great with my calorie goals and exercies (seem to have hit my stride) but lost lots of interest to be online when I stalled on weight loss (I stopped my caloriecount.com for a while too). I was working out so much and keeping to the low cal plan. I was so frustrated. I plan to stick with 100% until I've finished my goal: 135.

Now lost 2.6 pounds this week. I'm attributing to "frequent meals". I've eaten every two hours (roughly) every day. Intervals of 80-100 cal snacks with 300 cal meals. It was hard at first but I'm kind of getting it. I need to eat such specific nutritional values and ways of eating (calcium throughout all meals, high potassium and iron foods, vegetarian, whole food, quick, easy). I also want to avoid processed foods but I'm finding fun snack foods.

Sno: I'm a calorie counter too. I can't seem to "get" carbs AT ALL. I don't get weight watcher points. It seems like there's lots of streams rushing down to the same lagoon of weight loss.

K3LL3Y: I love your phrase on your signature. “There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.” That phrase resonates on many levels for me. Thanks for sharing it.

Envelope and LGW: Congrats on the success for so many days.

Hi all!

I meant to log in yesteday and I would go on the computer and do something else! ditzy

anyway all is well--I'm having one of my higher cal days today. i think it helped last week and it is also good practice for when I reach my goal weight--being able to have a higher calorie day say for a holiday or something and not have it turn into a month long binge.

any way 32 days on and 15lbs down--i am excited! I know the weight loss will be sloweer this month but I have a nice start.

envelope, iardagnos and lgw lets keep it going! the pounds are coming off, our committment is firm and we can do it!!

all is well here on the mountain--I am liking feeling in control. it feels like I was a slave to my cravings/hunger and that now I am free at least mostly. it feels good to assess my hunger level, how much I have eaten this day, what would be best for me to eat now or later and decide how I want to handle it.

iardajnos: I find it just helps me to keep track of how many days since I made the committment to 100 days. it is not a requirement!! but you could go back to the beginning and find when you started and see how many days you have done it--if you want and yes there are so many ways to lose weight-I had wonderful success on a lot of plans and now I just need to keep it simple!

LGW: I am with you: no more 220's!@!

env: day 64! yahoo!
