After trying to wait it out the last couple weeks I decided my body needed me to up my calorie range. I was 1200-1800 and until I am done training I am going to aim for 1200-2000. I do not plan on getting to the 2000 very often. Last night a last cup of yogurt was just what I needed and I ended my cals for the day at 1840.
it is super hot here today--I am trying to motivate to get out and do my walk before it gets any hotter.
I am so glad everyone is hanging in there and posting--it really helps me to read how everyone is doing.
iardajnos: I so relate. when I go home everyone has some special thing they have cooked for me. it is hard to resist. I think it would be great if we could eat a little bit of what is offered and not overeat--that would be a healthy and normal way to handle it.
tyla: congrats on day 19--you are on a roll. I am going to visit my folks on the monterey pennisula.
env: you are doing the right thing--if you are doing a lot of exercise it can actually make you stall if you dont eat enough food. also I have read that eating yogurt helps one to lose weight and for me eating yogurt also makes me less hungry. I do really well if I eat a few servings each day.
it was less hot today and I got some gardening done as well as my walk. all going well--doing a low carb thing for a few days and it always is a good way to jump start things.
I had an idea--sept 16 is 100 days til xmas--thought would recharge this challenge for those of us still losing and have a 100day till xmas challenge? what do you think?
Hmm--the post I made yesterday did not go thru for some reason. anyway here I am working hard--I had a mental breakthrough earlier today and if I can hold onto it I think it will really help me.
Its about balance. what is the best thing for me to do for myself right now. am I really hungry. what foods do I need--have I had my veggies yet? what exercise is right. stretching as needed. I dont know if it makes sense but thinking about my body and consciousness being balanced gives me a bigger perspective from which to make healthier choices.
