jigglefree A muffin topped size 12 is still a size 12!! I'm hopeful for making my weight goal, but not 100% sure I'll do it - but that's ok! I'm heading in the right direction and that is all that matters!

Lori Bell Go you on the on plan streak! That is awesome. I love looking up to you lovely ladies who have made it to goal and are doing awesome with maintenance!! So inspiring!

~I have a challenge facing me in the form of a sleepover party tonight - haha! What sane group of 24/25/26 year olds have a sleepover party! It's crazy. The only reason for it is that a couple of friends of ours bought a house as an investment property so their having a party in it before they get tenants - but it's quite far out, hence the sleepover part. I'm worried about the food and alcohol side of things, and the fact there will be no way to cook/refrigerate anything...oh well. It's one night.
Other than that worry, I'm doing well this week! Have exercised every week day so far, just need to do something today (Friday) and then I will have done something I haven't done in ages!

Hi all! Does anyone know if your body weight kinda evens out and starts getting used to your new weight after a while of maintaining, I've been maintaining for 16mo. It seems like my body is different for the last 2mo. w/ losing & gaining weight. Let me know if you ever heard of such a thing, thanks all!

Good evening everyone. Made it back home from daughters house. And I think she and her husband and the grandkids was in shock still when when I left. I also had a shirt on that I didnt know where I got it from and come down to it, it was my daughters at one time and she hand it down to me. They was very surprized now my son that lives in Houston needs to see me which I think its been about 5 yrs for us. I'm hoping we can all get together for christmas but just not sure if that will be possible. I just cant wait to see it myself. Met my goals today for cal, fat, and protein. was under on carbs. good night and good luck everyone with your challenge for thanksgiving.

Checking in late to say that the surgery went well. Thank you all for the prayers/good thoughts. They really helped.

I feel so swollen from the IV. Normally I can put my fingers around my wrists and easily touch my finger tips together. Tonight there is a half-inch gap there when I try. My eye lids also look puffy. I don't think I'll be weighing in for a while. lol

Hugs to all!!! ♥

Good Morning Ladies! Happy Friday. Oooh, the weekend approaches, the toughest time of week. Lets all make a solemn vow to stay on plan this weekend. There are only 2 weekends left before Turkey Day, we can do it! (Oh please dear Lord, help US! )

This makes day 12 of POP and strangely I still have not lost the entire 9 pounds I gained Halloween weekend. I still have 1 to go to be back to the weight I was Saturday morning October 30th. THAT is scary. I've never had this problem in the entire time I started this new lifestyle. USUALLY, 1 day backwards took 2 days to recover from. I never had back to back bad days so, I can see how people just give up. It is very frustrating and something I've hopefully learned a valuable lesson from.

Rainbow, how was your overnight party? Sounds like a blast.

MamaTX, So happy your visit with your daughter (& family) went well. I hope you can get together with all of your family at Christmas. It will be magical. Do what ever it takes to make it happen. It will be worth it!

Sandcar, so glad your surgery went well. Last time I had surgery I retained a lot of water for several days. It went away finally, but I hate that tight feeling too.

Fruitlady, I've been maintaining for about the same time as you and I don't think it ever gets eaiser. It's hard, and it sucks to always have to restrict food, but the health benefits and the "wow factor" are worth it. It's like a full time job to stay healthy.

To everyone else, HI Hope all is well and you all have a great weekend.

Ugh. Not a good WI today. Just one of those weeks where I've done everything right, but am showing about a pound gain on the scale. I know we all have these weeks...but I am just getting so tired of my body REFUSING to get out of the 200's!

I think (hope) it's just water retention from all the reisstance/weight training I've been doing this week. Today is my rest day. I think I will try again tomorrow morning, but if the scale still isn't cooperating, I guess all I can do is keep plugging away until next week.

I am NOT changing my ticker though! It stays where it is until I'm in onederland! (Funny how I feel justified in not posting a gain if it's not my "fault", lol.)

Well, at least it's Friday.

NorthernExposure, I would not be surprised that it was the water retention causing that weight gain. It's happened to me several times. I know that pound and more will be off in another week.

bigmamaintexas, why can't they each spend half the Christmas holiday with their kids? That's what my ex and I did for years. He'd get them for the morning and then bring them to me in the afternoon. Good luck with all that. I know it's tough.

Lori Bell, you sound a lot like me. I took two days off on Halloween weekend, one for my parents 50th anniversary and one on Halloween and went up about 8 pounds. It took me over a week to get that off. So totally not worth it! And being almost 48 is not helping matters. Good luck to you getting it all off and then some.

I'm feeling pretty good today, not too sore. I wish I didn't have to wait so long to exercise. I already miss it. My doctor did say that I could walk in about a week. It's my least favorite exercise to do, but I guess I'll take what I can get.

Have a terrific weekend, Thanksgiving cuties!!!

Good morning ladies (well, here in Sunny California anyway) I am not losing and I am not gaining (well I did gain one pound) but I'm okay with it. I have been working out like a demon and I am just going to contribute it to that. Hopefully I'll see a big drop when I take a "break" the week after next (week of Turkey Day) and I'm not just going to conk out and pig out, but I'm thinking of doing a brisk mile or two long walk every morning, instead of my usual hour-long bootcamp or C25K. RAMBLING! Sorry! Have a good weekend ladies!

Lori Bell- Thanks, it's just getting harder and harder for me. My body has changed, I could over eat and lose the water weight in a couple days, now it takes so long just to lose 2 lbs. Makes you think twice about eating too much.

Had 1580 cal today cause I ate way too much fruit. No junk food today , yesterday I was snacking all day while I was cleaning the house. That was so stupid, i gained 2 lbs. I hope that's it now, it's gonna take me forever just to lose 2 lbs. I'm so frustrated

sandcar Glad to hear the surgery went well!

Lori Bell Luckily for me, the party ended up being not an overnighter haha. But it was still pretty fun.

Lori Congrats on your 2 year!!

I'm kind of feeling a little more relaxed this weekend about my calories, just trying not to stress as much... doesn't mean I won't record them, but I'm not going to worry too too much just to see what kind of choices I make anyway.

Sandcar-Happy your surgery went well! I hope you feel 100% soon!

I had a high calorie day yesterday (but not over) because I had spaghetti in the first time in I don't know how long (well besides Lean Cuisine Spaghetti). It was soooo yummy. i had no garlic bread or anything though. However just to be on the safe side I refrained from weighing in this morning. lol I will see if I did any damage tomorrow morning.

I am beginning to think even though I had my max calories at 2000 since I rarely went up that high that I may need to be eating less to actually lose..I don't know. I guess I will just continue to do what I'm doing and see how that goes. I just wonder if I should be aiming lower as a rule. hrmmm...

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! This was a LONG week!
