    Staying on plan and feeling great. Today is another busy day, but I wanted to check in with my Thanksgiving Challenge peeps.

  • NorthernExposure - CONGRATS!!!!!! Isn't Onderland Onderful??? lol I still can't get over it!

    BigMama - those chinese buffets are hard to control, much of it looks so healthy but most is not. lol Indulging every once in awhile is essential to staying on track in my opinion.

    Lori/Sandy/Lori - I also have anxiety and depression. I don't think I've had a full blown anxiety attack but There are times i just need to 'get out' of a store and sometimes at work I can literally feel my heart beating so hard and fast I think I'm gonna be sick. I take wellbutrin, it helps the depression and is supposed to help the anxiety but i dont think it does.

    About me, I weighed myself and it was 195.2 today, that's not an 'official' weigh in so i won't change my ticker but I am glad I am maintaining my loss and even lost a bit more. I had one high calorie day (pizza is my weakness and i was starving, bad combo) and every other day I've been on track this past week. I am so happy its friday! This week seems like its lasted forever! Ugh.

    Well I am in my FOURTH straight day of steady droppage (a word I think I just made up and I'm owning it) which has never happened before. I weighed in at 240.8 this morning and I know if I keep this up, I WILL see the 230's next official weigh-in.

    This week has been good. Not cheated once. The scale has barely moved though.... I guess I got used to seeing that first big loss and now I'm stuck at 2 pounds a week. Oh well. On the plus side though, I am craving the crap I used to eat less and less now and my body has gotten used to eating smaller amounts. So I'm really not feeling deprived all the time like I thought I would. I'm trying to get in all my water every day but (this is gonna sound weird) I get a headache if I drink too much water. Has this ever happened to anyone? Oh well. Gotta go shopping for Thanksgiving dinner this weekend. It's at my house so now I get to control what's on the menu I hope everyone has a good night

    Had 1260 calories, lost 2 lbs. so far. Now I need to lose 2-3 more and I can start maintaining, i don't know how yet, but I'm gonna wing it. Since my body is different now, I don't know what is going to work. Good luck to all this weekend!

    Just a quick check in from me, at 72kg/158.7 pounds. Most likely won't make my Thanksgiving goal (I think I've already said that haha) but I'm happy enough anyway, I know I'm doing things right and if it comes off slowly, that's ok with me. I'm loving that I'm getting fitter!!
  • OMG~My hubby is quitting skoal today Lord help us~Got rid of the drama queen daughter for the weekend (LOL) ~& I miss her~i am such a push over anyways now he is gripey~But so cute! hehehe~They doubled the price of it up town~He said no way I quit....In the long run it will be better onhim ~he is still sober ~off cigs too~Was off chew until he found out he had Rheuamtoid Arthritis Then he started back on the chew Only But He has been off everything before & been fine & his health will dramatically change for the better....So wish me a none Binge of eating weekend~I think I am free from that but ya never know.I aint done a binge eat forever(when I did ever have one it was just maybe 200 to 300 over my daily intake But that can add up quick If your not careful & was rare for me)~BUT THANKS TO THE FAMILY I GREW UP WITH I STAY DETERMINED~THEY SUCK BUTT & KEEP ME MOTIVATED TO SHOW THEM I AM BETTER THAN THEY EVER SAID I WAS ~& THEY CAN ALL KISS MY SKINNIER HINY! (LOL) ~Plus the neighbor boy That picked at me growing up can too! ~LMBO~Wicked me~Oh well if it works for me it works.

  • Good evening everyone! had a good workout today. And when I got through with my workout I havent hardly stop. I came home cook lunch and then went with hubby shopping. Then home put everything up and fix supper. I am so tried and its only 8:30. Oh well I will fight it the rest of the evening because if I went to bed now I'd be up 4 or 5 in the morning and I would like to sleep in for a change. And I really need to eat a snack soon because ive only eatten 530 calories so far thats just half of what i'm suppose to. I'm still weighing what I did on monday 254.6 Looks like I may miss my challenge goal. I can only be mad at myself.lol Have a good evening and weekend.

    I did have my planned cheat meal for the week last night...Mexican...but I think I did pretty good considering. Had chicken Fajitas, no sour cream or guac. Did indulge in some chips & salsa, but not TOO much. DH has been hunting the past couple of weekends, so this was our first meal out together for a while. Going to stay OP the rest of the weekend though, especially with T-day coming up! It's at our house this year...hoping I can send most of the leftovers home with other people, lol.

    Let's finish strong, guys! Can't believe another challenge is already drawing to a close!!
  • Gosh, I've been so busy the last couple of days. Finally have a few minutes between loads of laundry.

    Northern, Congratulations on hitting the 100's! Something is very special about it! When I hit the 100's I was doing a "New Years Onederland" Challenge here at 3FC, and made it right before Christmas. It seriously was the the most magical Christmas of my life. I was "high on life". Now they just keep getting better! I hope your holidays reflect the new you! Good job!

    Lori138, Hey girl, I finally got down to 138 too! Now we are weight loss twins! It's awesome your hubby is giving up chew. I wish him all the best. Nicotine in all forms is very hard to get off of...almost as bad as SUGAR. Great job still hanging in the 130's!

    MamaTX, hang in there honey! You own the Chinese Buffet, you have the power to turn it back your way. Sounds like you are strong and determined to not let it derail you.

    Rainbow, you are doing great, even if you don't make some arbitrary number, peace of mind and feeling fabulous is WAY better!

    Fruitlady, hang in there darlin'. Don't let the scale run your life. You are a tough woman, and stronger than the flippin scale!

    To anyone I missed, Keep on trucking. We can get this challenge done, and feel pretty hot on Turkey Day!

    As for me, no cheats all week. yay! TOM surprised me and came 3 days early, (last night). That explains my stupid sugar issue last weekend... Finally the scale moved again. 3 pounds overnight! I must have gotten out of bed 5 times to potty last night. The bloat feels MUCH better. Yippee!

  • Good Afternoon everyone! Taking a break then I got to get busy again. Thank you Lori Bell that you agree. I only go out with the girls and guys at the gym once a month and sometime i skip going but I guess it had been 2 years since I went with someone for chinesse food. I do have to admit it was good. Just was mad at myself that I made myself sick from eating to much. My arobic teacher said next time I sit with her and she will encourage me to eat the right amount and not do that again. She has lost a good 100 lbs and she looks good. And she is 2 yrs old than me. She is just maintaining now. And yes your right about me getting back on track. Yesterday I only had 867 calories. Was under cal.,carbs.,fat, and protein. Today is going good so far on all four maybe i'm eating the smart way too. I even weighed a little bit ago and I was 253.8 so thats almost a lb. since monday night. If I keep this up maybe I will see my 251.6 goal for the thanksgiving challenge. I will keep my fingers cross Ok my time is up so got to get off here and get busy, still got to do a little shopping for the big day but not much. bye for now
