Jiggle: I just clicked on your profile pic and it has the pic of you in your black/white dress right beside the one of you in the TSP's and there's a world of difference just between those two pics! I am so proud of you!!
|
Susie - Thanks. I swear I can't stop looking at the picture. It's so wild to see that progress. My cousin was looking at the pictures we took from Easter comparing them to the ones from yesterday and said look at you. I was trying not to act as happy as I was but it was ooooozzzzzzing out.
Shan - My husband was fine as long as I was happy. Last night after everyone had left he said I like how curvy you are getting. That was nice. I think it's great they benefit as we get ourselves healthy. Lori - Congrats on getting to 155!! I was hoping the news at the dr would be better but to know he's trying to find out what is all going on is a positive. Farn - Yea those first couple of days are a real beast. But by the weekend you'll be a pro. I did my cardio at lunch and will be shredding this evening. I'm looking forward to getting my workouts done and staying on plan because I can see the results...now. You all are the bestest!!! I remember last week being frustrated because they didn't fit like I wanted them to but to see them Saturday...I would only try them on Saturday mornings, I couldn't wait for Sunday. I was running around the house. I wanted to see how good the fit was so I sat down and did a couple of lunges. When they didn't rip or cut my flesh or pinch any fat...I started screaming. Of course I was up alone and running around. |
I had 1250 cal. today, I lost a half a pound. I knew it wouldn't be much, I am really having a hard time controlling myself for the past three days. All I want to do is eat chocolate and peanut butter. If I try to eat a little I won't be able to stop, I just know it.
|
WOW!! I've been MIA since Wednesday and I FEEL LOST!!! You girls have been very chatty!! For those of you wondering, TOM FINALLY CAME FRIDAY!!! YAY!!! So I got to use my DivaCup for the first time!!! IT'S AMAZING!! My weekend at home was AWESOME...I was stressed for nothing. Like Aluxa I was stressed about going home after losing and what they would think...I think that's why TOM was late. But everyone was very supportive and complimentary...it gives me more motivation to keep going for these last 20lbs or so!!!
On a bad note...my WI today was not so good. I knew it wouldn't be because I didn't track my calories this weekend while traveling. But I also didn't go all out & eat everything in sight! Still, I was up to 176 today! :( UGH!!! But I know it's mostly water weight so hopefully it'll be gone w/in a few days. **NSV FOR ME*** I actually did my planned WO's while away from home!! I almost talked myself out of it, but then did it! I did 30DS L2 D6 (Fri) & D7(Sat.)...I was very proud of myself! My mom actually tried to do it w/me on Sat. but couldn't do much. She had WLS in 2003 or 04 and has lost about 120lbs, but without exercise, so she's not in very good shape. She said she's going to start exercising, tho. Plus, I was on L2 and she probably needed to try L1! haha ANYHOO...it was a big achievement for me to actually WO while traveling!!!! Susie & Farn---It's awesome you guys got 30DS! for whoever asked, I thought L1 was exremely hard at first & yes I was sore the next day, but did it 4days in a row before I took a rest day, then did the last 6days in a row...my endurance did increase after a while :) Now in L2, I do a couple days in a row and then have a rest day...I'm in no rush to get it done...It's really the only exercise I'm doing right now, but plan to add more cardio after I complete the program this 1st time... Lori--sorry to hear about your problems!! But atleast you're staying strong and eating OP! AND look at you hitting your challenge goal early!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! Jiggle--You look AWESOME in those TSPs!!! Aluxa--Sorry your TOM was late also...but try not to stress too much about going home! you have made great progress!! Sorry I didn't get to everyone...there were so many posts! HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GREAT WEEKEND!!! And here's to an Awesome OP week!!!! |
Happy Monday evening, girls!
WTG Jiggle! That's so awesome! It's so exciting to see progress, isn't it? I think I've just recently hit that point where people are really starting to notice. Definitely motivates me to keep going :) Kind of had an "off" weekend due to traveling for another funeral. I'm up .2 lbs since Wed. No worries, though...back OP today. FINALLY going camping this weekend, so hope to get some nice long walks in and make up a little for last weekend. Still have about 5 lbs to go for the challenge...we shall see! May is turning out to be a slow month for me, but at least I'm (generally) going in the right direction. Plus this is for life and not a race! I have to remind myself of that sometimes. Have a good week! |
So I'm confused...are there two shan's running around this place? People are commenting about (shan) husband and stuff, but I know its not me because I'm not married. Haha! So, who is the other shan?
Hope everyone is doing well. My weight is climbing a little this week but I'm fighting hard to get back on track before the summer challenge starts. Plus I want to meet my challenge of 10lbs for this month. Love to you all! |
susie ~thanks girl & u 2 jiggle & everyone else for caring ~Luv ya all
Had a very long day I need some rest with type again 2morrow. Hugs to all ~goodnight. |
Jiggle good for you! And FYI its not vain, enjoy your hard work!
|
Shan: Oops, it should have said Mkyice instead of Shan. Sorry y'all!
I joined the Biggest Loser Summer Beach Challenge, Shan and asked to be on your team. |
20% Gone
Hey y'all, I just ran the numbers on the calculator and realized that when I lost that whoosh last week it brought me under the 20% lost point!!
I got my subscription to Good Houskeeping Magazine and the cover story is a lady who has lost 44 pounds and in the picture she is with her daughter and it reads, "I've lost as much as my daughter weighs." I realized that I'VE LOST MY DAUGHTER too! She weighs 53 pounds at 9 years old. Ok, so to lose another 10% I'll need to readjust my goal weight to 168.7 pounds. I've been thinking about my goal weight. I chose 174 because that is what I weighed when I got married. My wedding dress was a size 10. I had my wedding/honeymoon pictures out the other day and I am very close to looking like I did then! So I'm thinking about moving my final goal down a bit anyhow. I'm thinking 164, that is what I weighed when I graduated high school! I don't think I'd want to get much under a size 8. I think I'll wait till I reach my original 174 and then re-evalute. I cannot believe I'm only 14 pounds away from my original goal!! It seemed nearly impossible when I started Jan. 4!! But the time has flown and here I am in the 180's!! This is doable - it really is!! Why did I wait so long to do it? |
Hope everyone is doing great. I made it to my mini goal of 100lbs lost!! Check out my pictures. I'm scared to post this but hope it will give me the motivation and inspiration to continue my journey. Thanks to all my calorie counting chicks!! Your inspire me everyday!!

Shan that is incredible, good for you!!!! Keep up the good work!!
|
Hey, this is just a quick note from me. I have to work at 1 and I want to get in 40 minutes on the elliptical before I go to work, plus shower, eat lunch, and a load of laundry! I did 30DS L1D3 last night and it was killer again, but a little bit better!! That made me happy. The only thing is working out with already sore muscles can be rough, but i just pushed past that. I have lost a total of 7.5 pounds for my goal, so I'm at my half way point! I'm just going to get as close as I can to my goal by Mem Day. Pretty pumped because I honestly cannot tell you the last time that I weighed what I do now. I know for a fact that I'm the lightest that I have been in several years, so nothing can bring me down!!! I've come too far and I'm not stopping!!! I now know I have the ability to do do whatever I set my mind too! Well Miss USA speech aside, haha, I better get going. I will be back on later when I get a break from work.
PS: I'm also really close to having dropped my BMI by 10 points!!! whoo!!!! Have a good day everyone!!! |
For us to be two weeks away from the Challenge Deadline we are NAILING this thang. I'm looking at the posts above me and it's making me excited about working out and eating on plan!!
Farn - That is awesome. 10 POINTS!!!! That's what I'm talking about. DO IT!! Shan - 100 lbs is an amazing accomplishment. That took some kind of commitment. Stick around so I can stay motivated!! Susie - I know you are excited and it makes me excited too. I have a hope. I think lowering your goal will be fun. Even when you get to your final goal...stick around!! KDM - I'm so proud of you staying with your exercise program while you were away. Were you excited about your mom working out with you? How are the level 2 workouts now...are they getting easier? Lori - how are you today?? Been praying for you too. I've had a great day. Took the baby to the dr for her 2yr appointment. She perfectly healthy and is grwoing well. YAY!! So I've been eating on plan today and getting ready to do my 30DS!! Then will be going to the day care for one last birthday party for the little girl. I stopped by Catos earlier and some of the things I tried on a month ago that fit today!! I like looking at my legs in the mirror seeing how much smaller they are from Christmas. I am so glad I started on this journey in Jan and stuck with it. I even more glad I found this site. Another note: have any of you had buffalo meat before? We tried it last night and it was quite tasty!! May eat it more often. The calorie count in buffalo is much less than ground beef and ground turkey. |
Shan-good for you! Thanks for posting the pics, u should be so proud of your progress!
Susie-great job on the 20%! You are doing so well! Can't wait to get into the -50 lbs club myself:) jiggle: yes, buffalo is good! I had bison fajitas on my friend's b-day way back in January (about 45 lbs ago!). You can find it at some grocery stores, bit it's not cheap. Well, off to do my workout now. Hope to get past 229 for this Friday's WI! Getting tired of this number now!! |
Lost another half a pound, this is taking forever. My calories have been too high for me to lose faster, except for today. Had 1075 cal because I didn't get out for my walk/jog today. The weather is cold and rainy, so I wasn't as hungry. I need to give my knees a rest anyway, they get so stiff and tight. That's what happens as you get older I guess!
|
Susie---YAY! for 20%! That's awesome! Keep up the good work!!! It's weird thinking about goal weights...mine was 170 for so long, but after I joined 3FC, I realized it wasnt going to be where I wanted to be! Then, I changed it to where I'll have a "healthy" BMI...what size are you now? you'll be in 8's before you know it!!!
Shan--100POUNDS!!! FREAKING AWESOME GIRL!! You're such an inspiration! Ashley--Are you enjoying 30DS?? Did you take "before" measurements?? I really like L1, but I'm not liking L2 so much! haha Did D8 today & it's just not getting any easier!!! Oh well, 2 more days, then I'm moving on! haha WAY TO GO on 55lbs lost AND -10 on your BMI! You're doing sooo good!! Doesn't it feel good to be so light!?!?!? Jiggle--Yes, I was excited about my mom joining me! And as I told Ashley, L2 is NOT getting any easier!!! Not if I mentioned it yesterday when I caught up w/everyone, but your new avatar is H-O-T-T! Lookin good! :) Wish I could see the difference in my legs when I look in the mirror...I only know they're getting smaller bc I'm wearing smaller pants, but when I look at them, they still look HUGE! You're gonna be a 14 WAAAAY before August! KEEP IT UP!! Northern--Good Luck w/WI this week!! I hate it when the scale gets stuck!! You're so close to -50...Good job w/the -45 since January! That's AWESOME!! As for me, I got back OP yesterday almost perfectly...according to my LoseIt app on the iTouch, to lose 2lb/week, my daily calorie budget is 1227...I'm usually closer to 14-1500(app says 1727 for 1lb/wk), but I've decided to listen to the app for a while! haha For a couple weeks, I'm going to try & stay as close as possible to 1227...yesterday I came in at 1249...and today, I cooked dinner (whole grain spaghetti & baked chicken) before coming to work, so i've already added in the cals, and I have 75 remaining for an after-dinner snack...just enough for my 1cup of strawberries I sliced & brought to work :) According to LoseIt, if I follow 1227, I could be at goal (150) by 8/9/2010..which would be FREAKIN AWESOME considering my 10yr HS reunion is that following weekend and I'm already lighter than when I graduated!!! But, I've never been extremely strict w/my calories...always giving in to temptation, so I doubt I make it by 8/9... but I'd be happy w/reaching 150 by Halloween, which gives me almost 25 wks to lose 20-21lbs...this seems like the more reasonable goal date with my WL history...and considering I have alot of traveling to do (1wk conference beginning of June, 1wk beach vaca end of June, 4day weekend in July at home for DMB concert, 3day weekend in Aug. at home for 10yr reunion, and 3day weekend in Sept. at home for a wedding) I will more than likely eat OFF plan these days...so, I'm going to set 10/31/2010 for my goal date to reach 150lbs! It's official now that I've said it! haha OK I'm SORRY...enough rambling! Hope everyone had a good day!!! |

Jiggle I am doing good today just stuck indoors cause Ohio has been chilly the last several days~supose to be nice agin on thursday. YIPPIE EVEN ITS IT IS RAINING I AM GOING OUT TO MY BELOVED FLOWERS! some are blooming & It is driving me bananas Not to get to go out there to look at them.
HEre is a lovely pic of painted daises(pink with yellow centers) My hubby took for me earlier that are in bloom(he is so sweet to go out & take pics for me How do I ever get mad at that man?LOL)~There a second year plant so I can not wait for them to get huge in years to come & have like 50 blooms or so at a time but still now they are beautiful! & A pic of my mothers day present ~My hot papaya Coneflower It is really dark orange red more or less when in full bloom but Is orange when blooming so cool! I am a coneflower addict I have 17 or 18 different types now.The others should bloom within next 2 weeks or so..since this one was forced bloom for sale I can show a pic of it now...will add many more pics as things bloom & grow.I have tons of flowers! HUGS TO ALL HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A FABULOUS DAY! Congrads shan on 100 pounds gone that is amazing!! JUSt click pics to make them bigger |
Lori- Your flowers are beautiful! I love daisies!!! Glad to hear you are doing ok, but I'm still keeping you in my prayers.
Shan- 100lbs, OMG that is amazing. You are a total inspiration to everyone. Jiggles- looking like a sexy senorita in your pic! All others- sounds like everyone is kicking this challange! WAY TO GO!!!! Keep it up! We will totally reach our goals. As for me... sorry I've been MIA, had an AWESOME weekend with my best friend for her bday. I actually ate really well the whole time, so only the drinks weren't too good and I tried to pick ones not full of sugar and mixers so I don't think it was a total loss. And I even managed to play a little tennis while there. Weighed in monday morning to see the damage, +1.5 and was hoping/wishin/prayin, that it was mostly water weight. So I weighed in this morning just for a peak (i weigh in throughout the week but only count it on sat) and it said 199.5. :carrot::carrot::carrot: I got on and off like 5 times!!! lol... I won't count it until I keep it till sat but I can't believe it!! Totally motivated to have an awesome week. I have been doing the No more trouble zones dvd the last couple days, but was short time so threw in the 30DS. I really like these dvds! They are very similar except NMTZ is twice as long and doesn't have the cardio. But they are tough and i am definitely feeling it! Can't wait to see results! Anyhoo I'm rambling! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE THE REST OF THE WEEK!!!! |
Shan~ congrats, -100lbs. is a major acomplishment!
Lori~ your flowers are beautiful. I am growing several different kinds in pots, but I am still trying to figure out what grows best here (Japan) (and also where in the yard, it's small, but there is everthing from full shade to full sun). I know I have missed some folks, sorry :~( I am on plan. I jumped rope yesterday...I'm not very good at it, but it gets the heart rate up. I've got to run, I've got to tidy the house (then myself) and the run some errands. |
Just finished my morning workout. It always translates into a great day. I will be going to the gym for lunch today as well. I was thinking about doing a late evening workout to see how that goes so that I can make sure I continue to workout through June and July while we are on summer flex schedule. I realized yesterday, I need that extra day off. One of those all about me days.
Lori - Like I said earlier, not a really into flowers but those are beautiful. The more you post the more I think about putting a couple in the front yard. Then I think about the upkeep and stop thinking about them.:D Mkyice - We missed you too but it was for a great cause...hubby!!! Beach - Is no more troubled zones mostly toning? Seems like I saw that one on demand back in Jan. but it seemed too long for me at the time. I think I may be ready for it after my 30 days of 30DS. My off day and weekends can be my cardio days. I'm looking forward to trying some more intense toning. Congrats on making it to Onederland...it'll stick until your official weigh in!! :carrot::carrot: Go ahead and celebrate!!! I'll get it started. :jig::cb::dance::broc: KDM - When you get to level 3 let me know how it is. You are doing it girlie!! I thought it was me when I was getting beat up at level 2. I made it 10 days but never looked at level 3. I didn't want to get discouraged and quit. So I went back to level 1. I was using my iTouch but I stopped. I pretty much eat the same thing everyday with the exception of dinner. I think today is a good day to go back to using it since you reminded me and it's a great tool. :exercise::exercise::strong:Keep working out and you will be able to enjoy your high school reunion and not be wondering if everyone else will be noticing how much you gained. You can relish in them asking you how you managed to keep in such good shape "all these years". :D:D Well enough chatty matty, I gotta go get the hubby up so he can get to work on time. |
I'll join in! I know it's a little late...but I think I'll put a modest goal of 3 pounds down by the 31st.
You all are very inspiring! |
:welcome3:Corinne -We are having fun. The good thing is you can make those three pounds if you do a pound and a half this week and next week. Boom there you have it.
Since my workout this morning I am PUMPED!! The more I look at that avatar the more motivated I get about getting to my goal. Susie - how long did it take to get from the Old Navy 16 to where you are now??? |
How is everybody doing today? I'm doing great!! I did 30DS L1D4 last night as it got a lot better!!! I was still struggling but as exhausted at the end. That gets me pumped. I'm planning on doing 40 min cardio and walking the dog before work today and then Day 5 tonight. I really want to make my goal. No more weight loss today but I have to remember that you don't lose everyday and your weight naturally fluctuates.
susie: I'm going to be right there with ya for those 30 days!! We all can do it!!! I'm noticing that I'm less and less sore as the days progress. thank god! Congrats on the 20% gone to that is AMAZING!!!!!!!! whoot whoot!!!!!!! Cheering for ya!!!! i think you should re-evaluate too once you get to your original goal weight. See what you look like then, if you like it stay, just maintain and such. If not, go for that extra 10%!!!! KDM: that is awesome that your mom joined you for 30DS!!! haha I would have my mom try it to but she would kick my butt!!! She's been working out and exercising, eating right, etc for years. I'm a little embarrassed that my 53 year old mother is in better shape than i am!! What reactions did your family have to your weight loss?! good ones I hope!!! :) I am absolutely loving 30DS!!! It was really rough and I thought I couldn't do it and didn't want to do it again, but after I finished I was thrilled that I got such a good workout in 20 min!! I took before measurements, I'm just not sure when to check them again. Are you checking at the end of the 30 days or after each level completed? oh and btw, your goal for Halloween sounds like a perfect one, giving yourself enough time to make goal and have a life in between too!! I sometimes set unrealistic goals for myself and it's a major bummer when you don't hit them. you can definitely do it though!!!!! :) jiggle: good to hear that the baby's healthy!! I'm pretty sure I'm completely jealous of you too, I wish I could notice a difference in my legs!!!!! I can only tell a difference in my face! ugh! But you're kicking major butt and I'm just trying to follow your lead! Buffalo meat is amazing!! My friend and I used to go to this restaurant all the time and get buffalo burgers, I couldn't tell the difference between that and I hamburger. it's yummy! northern: good luck on getting past 229!!! you can do it!!!! Lori: hope you are feeling well and all those doctor appointments come back with good news!! Thinking about you deary!!! And your flowers are gorgeous too! :) beachlover: congrats on doing well on your friend's bday! haha it sounds like you did WAY better than I did!! shots!shots!shots!shots!shots!everybody! haha and then like a 5 pound gain the next day! hahaha oh and congrats on hitting that 199.5!!!! whoo!!! that is awesome!! Corinne: welcome!!! you're going to love it here!!! Well I'm pretty sure I wrote a novel, but since I didn't write yesterday I was kind of making up for the last two days. I'm off to go eat breakfast and workout before work at 1. Have a good OP day everyone!!!! |
Well I was 175.2 today. I went off plan a few times for dinner this past week, so I guess I'm not surprised that it wasn't lower.
|
Bleh!:p
I can't say I've been doing poorly, but I have not moved from this weight in weeks. I find that I begin to go into auto pilot mode and forget to pay attention. Things have gotten really busy and we've been out to eat every night either at someone's home or to restaurants for the last week. Tonight I am back to making dinner and I am really excited about that. So much more in control! I do have to say that one night, at a restaurant, I cut my burger in half and took the other half home for the hubby to eat the next day. Seriously,,,I have never done that! I think my hubby and the others were like:?: I felt really good. Actually, I was feeling pretty full after that half and was paying attention solely to my belly...which was saying, "OK, done!" So, this morning I weighed in at 211.5 and my hopeful goal was to hit 205 by Memorial Day. That's what? 11 days away. I was at 209 before my . so, now I am feeling a bit optimistic. I can do it! A little exercise might help;) |
Thank you for the welcomes!
Jiggle- That's what I'm planning to do. I've been loosing about 2 pounds a week- so I thought I'd set my goal low so that if I do more, then I'll be very pleased! :D I'll have to set up a bigger challenge for myself next time around! You ladies are really going for it- congrats everyone! |
I want to join in this thread too. :D I'm also going to say a modest 3 pounds lost by the 31st since it is so near.
|
Welcome to all the new peoples!! How exciting it is to get more faces around here.
Where is JDonato? I hope she's just enjoying being a graduate and all is well. I can't wait for the next challenge. I'm doing so well at getting exercise at least 3x a week. I am totally going to push myself during the next one. It's a beautiful day here in Michigan. Makes me just want to get outside and enjoy! |
Finally had a woosh! Lost 2 more lbs ! 1 pound to get to my goal. Had 1070 cal today and did a 50 min walk/jog.
|
Hi, I want to apology for my last posts. I was a freak out by stress. Today, I’m more positive and looking to my goals for this month. I’m 1 pound away from my memorial day goal!
Jiggle: Living in the US I discovered that while I was living in my country and feeling obese I was at a healthy weight. Yes, I was the bigger on my family but that did not mean that I was obese and I’m a little worry about how the trip may affect my actual efforts for a healthy life but I’m sure that everything will go better than what I imagine. I think that anxiety for my trip and thesis project has been driving me a little crazy. :congrat: you look great!!! Farn: Yes I have lost 37 pounds. However, while I was living in Argentina my highest weight was 141 pounds. I’m losing weight to be healthy. I did it for wrong motives before and that is why I failed. I’m more positive now toward my trip and I now that I will enjoy it. I have planned to avoid a mean aunt, but if think positive everything will go well. Anxiety made me see everything negative last week. . :congrat: for the 30ds. After my trip I will look at my DVDs before buying the 30Ds. SugarRox: thanks for your kind words and you are right, everything will go better than what I expect. Shan: :balloons: :congrat: :balloons: for your 100!!!! Lori: I love your daughter’s name! In Argentina we have a very interesting historical figure whose name was Camila. I also love your flowers. Last weekend I was flowers day for my garden. KDM Thanks :) Susieyarb: :congrat: for that 20% Corinne and sgregg: :welcome: Fruitlady: :congrat: for those 2 pounds! |
LORI--your flowers are soo pretty! Hope you start feeling better!!
beach--GOOD JOB being "good" while out for the bday...I totally would've blown my diet!! haha kinda like I did this past weekend while visiting family in WV! I'm glad you like 30DS...how is NMTZ?? you say tough, but how tough?? is it all strength training?? and how long does it last? mkyice--jumping rope definitely gets your HR up!!! how long did you do it for?? Hope you had fun w/the hubby!! jiggle--the only way I was able to get through L2 today was bc i kept telling myself that after today, tomorrow would be the last day of L2!!! So I should be starting L3 on Friday and I'll def. let ya know how it goes...i've heard from someone that they thought L2 was harder than L3...we shall see!! AND YES, You should be motivated by your avatar...YOU'RE SMOKIN!!! WECLOME CORINNE & SGREGG!!! You girls will LOVE these challenges!! Lori usually sets them up as a Holiday to be the final WI...Our next one will probably be July 4th...just guessing tho...what do you think LORI?? Ashley--I'm glad you like 30DS! Watch out for L2! haha but don't give up! we can do it!!! :) As for my measurements, I took them at the beginning and then again after finishing L1, but there wasn't much change, so I doubt I'll take them after L2...I may just wait until I finish L3 and compare to D1... As for the reactions of my family, yes, they were all good ones!!! my mom was so proud of me! and my brother (2.5 yrs younger) was really sweet and said "Wow, sis, you look really good!!!" but then he wanted me to share the "secret" haha & of course I had to say there was none LOL just CC and exercise... beans--AWESOME JOB putting half of your burger in a to go box! I always say I'm gonna do that but never have!! GOOD JOB! Good Luck on your MD goal! Corinne--2lbs/week..thats awesome! I wish I could find my magic # to get to that!! how many cals do you eat? how often do you exercise?? Just curious :) Shylah--Good Job exercising 3x/wk!! What types of exercise do you do?? And yes, WHERE IS JDONATO!?!?!?! Maybe she took a graduation trip?? Fruit--You're SO CLOSE!! and after a 50min WO, You'll be sure to hit 105 tomorrow!!! Keep it up! AS FOR ME, I struggle through 30DS L2D9 today! UUGGH! TOM came with a vengence after keeping me waiting for almost 2wks!!! I was feeling kinda weak during the 2nd circuit...so much, my foot/leg would shake if all my weight wasn't on it..weird! and I ate the same breakfast I always do!!! oh well, I finished it, but instead of doing the plank twists for the last ab WO, i did the bicycle crunches! I didn't think I could hold myself up in plank position for a whole minute!! haha but atleast I did SOMETHING and just didn't give up!! The water weight is going away...down to 172.6 today...doubt I'm gonna reach my goal, but TOM has really messed w/me this month!!! If I could just get to a solid 170.0, I'd be happy :D HAPPY HUMP DAY!!! |
Newbies: Welcome! I don't think I could do it without these guys :)
Aluxa: glad you're feeling better about your trip. Traveling under stress is NOT fun! Lori: such pretty flowers! I, unfortunately, am cursed with a black thumb! Fruitlady: congrats on the 2 lbs! KDM: sounds like that 30DS is a killer! I'm almost done for the school year and plan to do more stuff outside in the summer, but I may look into it for fall when I'm back exercising indoors. Everyone else: Keep up the good work! As for me: been on plan all week so far. Low calorie day today and I think I can make it without and unplanned snacks tonight :) Going on our first camping trip of the season this weekend! Wish we could have gotten out earlier, but circumstances just didn't allow :( Anyhoo, very much looking forward to getting outside...hopefully after a good WI on Friday! |
I started out on the treadmill. I did that for 5 days a week, 45 mins/2 miles a day. Then I tried 30DS, but my shoulder is still too injured to keep going, so stopped that for another week or two. This week I'm doing WATP- 30 minute walk every day. Once I get in a groove I was to add 3x on the treadmill doing C25K
then, when my shoulder is healed, gonna try to do 30 DS again. |
KDM and Jiggles- NMTZ is 40 minutes, its all strength training. I've only done 30DS level one and it had some of those exercises in it. I bet it has some of the ones from level 2 and 3 too. Its ALOT of squats and lunges etc, alot of triceps stuff, and abs. For me it was tougher than 30 DS level 1 but I also started with it and its twice as long, so that could be a huge factor. I would reccommend it. It only has the 1 exercise though. I also have another one but I haven't tried it. I'll let ya'll know when I do.

Good Evening Ladies!!!
I havent been online much since this weekend and WOW do I feel behind. Yall have been busy in here this week. For my WI on Monday I was at 158.6. Im getting close to my goal of 154 for this challenge. I know my weight is up today. Yesterday was my little brothers 21st birthday and I went out with the family to celebrate. We went to a place that makes a 42 inch pizza. It was neat. I only had one slice, but I did have 2 maragritas and a few shots with the birthday boy. Im back on track though. Jiggle You look AWESOME in those jeans. GOOD JOB!!! Shan Congrats!!!! Your doing SO great!! |
alright it's midnight right now and I'm just about to start my 30 minutes on the elliptical and then do my 30DS L1D5. I had no other time to do it today because the ADT security guy showed up right when I started working out earlier today and was here for 4 hours!! No workout and late for work....I'm starting to think I'm psychotic for working out this late!!! I should just be going to bed cuz I have to work in the AM, but I gotta get it in!!!!!! hahaha night all!! :)
Determination or some mild form of psychosis?! haha |
In the 160's!!!!!
Beansmama You can do it, just add in walking or other excercise and you will get there!
WECLOME CORINNE & SGREGG! :D Fruitlady Great Loss! farn00a57 Good for you for getting the workout in. That's determination right there! Week has been good for WL, down to 169 (-2.5) :carrot: Finally broke out of the 170's. I made my goal for this challenge so I'm resetting it for another 2 lbs. It feels so slow but I know 2-3lbs a week is a good solid pace and means it should be mostly fat that is coming off. I'm scheduled to do another body fat test in June so hopefully the results will be great. Today is my power workout day of the week 2 hours in the am and 1 in the evening. The problem is I'm limited to soft foods since having a massive root canal yesterday, hopefully I can eat weel enough to sustain the workout. Hope you all have a great OP day! |
Feeling better today. Got on the scale this morning and 208. Whew. Of course invited to dinner tonight. Be strong...drink water!
Beautiful day! Drink your water! Have a great day everyone. |
Good morning ladies!!!
I had a great on plan day yesterday. Things are going great so far today. I have on white today. I never wore white because it made me look bigger to myself. I look cute to myself today...shapely even. Anywho, I was invited to a luncheon and I pray it's something good and healthy. If not I will be eating lots of lettuce for dinner and increasing my water intake to 4 liters. I hope this doesn't sound crazy but I can't wait til this 30days of 30DS is over. I'm ready for something different. What was I thinking when I started this one. The good thing is I can't complete my goal before the challenge is over. Because of the water intake and shredding. I have to be less strict on myself before it gets boring. The ability to change things up works well for me...especially my workouts. KDM - I will look at doing level 3 after my 30 days is up. I may weave it in with another workout for variety...MAYBE!! You are my hero going to level 3!! I was looking at your progress pictures yesterday and thought to myself...she should be ready for more pics doing all that shredding. You look great!! Shylah - I'm so proud of you for doing what you gotta do to get your workouts in. Many people get where you are and a little shoulder pain would cause them to quit working out period. KUDOS!!! Northern - Have fun camping...we used to do a lot of it when I was in my teens living in Alaska. I loved it absent the mosquitoes. Don't do it now because I have new hobbies...shopping!! Beach - I think I may have to get that. Sounds like what I'm looking for in working out to get to my next two sizes. Sugar - Thanks. That pizza sounds interesting. 42"??? That's a lot of pizza. Hope your brother had a good time and woke up without a hangover. Farn - You better get do it!! Getting that workout in no matter what...I call that Determination...psycho...but determined. Fit - I'm scared to ask but what do you do in two hours of working out??? You are a beast when it comes to working out. I'm gonna be like you when I loose all this weight!! How about right before I went to bed last night I was in the bathroom and noticed a stye on my eye. How do you get those things out? WebMD said they go away on their own after a couple of days and use a warm compress. Is that all...short of going to the dr. and all kinds of other stuff is happening but I will not be deterred. In times past I would quit working out til I "felt better". |
